  • Patent number: 9625207
Abstract: The present invention is a cooling device having a number of cooling sub-assemblies, each having a body having a top with an opening, and an interior chamber for holding a cooling fluid. An equal number of sub-assembly connectors connect each body to two adjacent bodies so that the cooling device forms a generally cylindrical inner surface that can be placed around the outside of a beverage container so cooling fluid can absorb heat from a beverage in the container. Each sub-assembly may also have an activator bin inside it for storing an endothermic reactant and having a release mechanism that a user can activate to cause the endothermic reactant to mix with the cooling fluid thereby cooling the cooling fluid which in turn cools the beverage.

  • Patent number: 9625212
Abstract: In a heating furnace 10 where elongate workpieces fed into the heating furnace are sequentially transferred on fixed beams by walking beams from an inlet area to an outlet area, concaves to retain the workpieces are formed at least on the walking beams. A concave in the inlet area for heating the workpieces is increased in width in a transfer direction, while a concave in the outlet area where the heated workpieces are wholly heated to a uniform temperature and retained in position is formed in a corrugated configuration. Despite curving of an elongate workpiece being heat treated as transferred by walking beams in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the workpiece, this ensures that the curved workpiece is properly transferred and adequately corrected for the curving.

Abstract: Provided is a weighted anchor for a tape measure. The device includes a tubular housing with a defined interior volume for holding one or more magnetic weights therein. The weights are positioned around an elevator bolt disposed within the interior volume, then secured within the interior volume via a washer and a bolt. In this way, the weights are arranged in a stacked orientation. The housing can be secured to an end of a standard tape measure, thereby weighing down the same. In this way, the present invention can prevent the tape measure from swinging or otherwise oscillating when measuring long distances.

  • Patent number: 9625249
Abstract: Rotation angle computation modes include a normal mode and a simple mode. In normal mode, a rotation angle of an input shaft is computed based on output signals from first and second magnetic sensors, which are sampled at two sampling timings. In simple mode, the rotation angle of the input shaft is computed based on the output signals from the first and second magnetic sensors, which are sampled at one sampling timing, and an amplitude ratio between the output signals from the magnetic sensors set in advance. After a power supply is turned on, the rotation angle is computed in the simple mode until a condition that the rotation angle of the input shaft can be computed in the normal mode even if the immediately preceding value of the rotation angle of the input shaft is not present is satisfied. Then, the rotation angle is computed in the normal mode.
