Abstract: A tensioning device is provided for tensioning a retractor in a wheelchair securement system. The tensioning device may include a clutch assembly for communicating rotational movement of a handle to a drive shaft operably connected to the spool of the retractor. The clutch assembly may include a pawl operably connected to the handle, which pawl communicates rotational movement of the handle to a drive sprocket. The clutch assembly may also include a friction member which communicates rotation of the drive sprocket to the drive shaft up to a predetermined amount of rotational force. If the rotational force exceeds the predetermined amount, the friction member will slip and cease to transfer rotational movement from the drive sprocket to the drive shaft. The clutch assembly may also include a compression member for compressing the friction member and drive sprocket whereby the predetermined amount of force may be adjusted.

In some implementations, the vibratory massage device may comprise a flexible band having three vibration motors enclosed within individual housings and two power sources secured thereon, a switch for selectively energizing the vibration motors, and a removable sleeve. In some implementations, the flexible band may be configured to wrap around a portion of a human body (e.g., an arm, leg, torso, head, and/or shoulder) and be secured in place through the use of a provided strap. When the vibratory massage device is positioned on the portion of the body where the user is experiencing pain, the vibration generated by each vibration motor may disrupt the transmission of pain signals to the brain. In this way, the vibratory massage device may be used to treat and/or relieve pain.

Abstract: Devices, systems, software and methods for CPR quality assessment. Patient data is received, derived from a session of administering sets of CPR chest compressions to a patient. The sets can be separated by pauses. In some embodiments, a penalty value can be determined for at least one of the pauses, from at least one control factor unrelated to a constant linear dependence on the pause duration. An indicative value can be derived from the penalty value. In some embodiments, at least some of the pauses are classified in one or more pause groups, depending on how well they meet one or more classification criteria. The indicative value can be derived for one of the pause groups. The indicative value can be output, and/or an alarm can be emitted if it exceeds a threshold. CPR quality assessment can be improved in real time, and provide feedback for training.
