Abstract: Methods for using water-soluble salts of fatty acids alone, or in chosen combinations with chelating agents, antifreeze compounds, and water for improving the processing of feed materials including whole grains or finely-divided ingredients, which may contain grain, that are mechanically processed, are described. The fatty acid salts may be added to water or to steam prior to application to feed materials, and may be applied directly to the feed materials, or added to grain conditioners known in the art to improve their performance. Treated feed materials have improved lubricity, and thin, strong durable flakes having less bulk density, and durable hard pellets, may be generated with reduced fines. Addition of an anti-freeze material permits the resulting compositions to remain fluid under freezing conditions, while oxidation or spoilage, may be reduced by adding a chelating agent. The solutions are basic and are non-corrosive.

For example, a method of sterilization or pasteurization includes immersing an item in an immersion fluid, and the immersed item is subject to a hydrostatic pressure of the immersion fluid. The method also includes applying microwave energy to the item while the item is immersed in the immersion fluid and subject to the hydrostatic pressure of the immersion fluid. The hydrostatic pressure of the immersion fluid prevents the water content of the item from causing steam explosion in the item while the microwave energy is applied. The method further includes heating the item immersed in the immersion fluid to a target temperature with the applied microwave energy, the target temperature being sufficient to achieve sterilization or pasteurization of the item.

The coat (2) stretches more in the weft direction than in the warp direction, and the trousers (3) and/or skirt stretch more in the warp direction than in the weft direction. A method for producing the suit includes: for upper and lower parts of the suit, dyeing yarns of the same quality by the same method and producing woven fabrics that are woven in the same structure; differentiating stretchability of the woven fabrics in warp and weft directions in tentering processing by a heat set in a final finish step, thereby producing a cloth for coat and a cloth for trousers and/or skirt; and cutting and sewing the cloths. Thus, it is possible to provide a suit imparted with a function of high mobility even though it is a two-piece suit, and a method for producing the same.

For vest durability during repeated patient lifting, reinforcement lining stitching is secured adjacent to or near at least one end of all hand-grips lift components. Interior adjustment ties, padded neck and armhole openings, mesh fabric, and a collar may also contribute to patient comfort. Overall, the manual transfer vest promotes safety in preventing injuries, thereby reducing medical costs.

The back side of the glove, where the fingernails and knuckles are, may be covered by a normal glove. The outer layer is cut out on the palm side and attached to the tight layer along the edge of the palm of the hand. The tight layer of the glove could either only be on the fingertips, or could be tight on the entire palm side of the glove to expose the whole palm to the gripping surface. This may require the tight inner lining around the whole hand.

The present invention seeks to address some of the problems encountered by prior art limb compression devices and methods. A further object to the invention is to provide a boot with a sole which is adaptable to conform with various shapes and conditions of human feet. The lace fastener has at least one display face that may have the name, color, logo, etc. of the user's choosing. Once the article of footwear is laced, the laces are pulled through the lace fastener and the upper half is closed securing the laces in place. The laces may then be pulled through lace holders around the article of footwear in order to hold the laces neatly in place.
