Abstract: An electric tool is provided. The electric tool prevents anomalies in motor rotation due to dust and moisture sucked in together with a cooling wind, and is configured such that rotational position detection operations and switch operations are not affected. In the electric tool which drives a brushless DC motor using a controller, a magnetic body for rotational position detection is provided on a rotation shaft which can rotate integrally with a rotor, Hall ICs are provided to detect the rotational position of the magnetic body and output a position signal to the controller, and the magnetic body and the Hall ICs mounted on a substrate are arranged in a region isolated from the wind path of the cooling wind generated by rotation of a cooling fan. The Hall ICs are accommodated in a housing filled with resin.

The head may have a socket removably coupled thereto thereby facilitating the socket wrench to manipulate a fastener. The handle may be gripped thereby facilitating the fastener to be selectively tightened or loosened. An extension is removably coupled to the head such that the extension may be gripped. Thus, an increased rotational torque may be applied to the socket wrench compared to gripping only the handle.

Abstract: In an aspect, a robotic system is provided and includes at least two digital servo modules, each of which includes a position-controlled motor and a position sensor for sensing a servo position, a plurality of building block elements that are connectable with the digital servo modules to create position-controlled joints of a robotic figure, at least two wheel modules enabling wheeled movement of the robotic figure and a central controller communicating with and controlling the digital servo modules and the wheel modules. The central controller operatively places a selected group of digital servo modules in a learned motion mode, wherein a corresponding group of position-controlled joints is enabled to be manually manipulated, and wherein each of the selected digital servo module periodically transmits servomotor position to the central controller. The central controller can steer the robotic figure wheel modules based on servo positions of the selected digital servo modules.

Abstract: An adaptive learning interface system for end-users for controlling one or more machines or robots to perform a given task, combining identification of gaze patterns, EEG channel's signal patterns, voice commands and/or touch commands. The output streams of these sensors are analysed by the processing unit in order to detect one or more patterns that are translated into one or more commands to the robot, to the processing unit or to other devices. A pattern learning mechanism is implemented by keeping immediate history of outputs collected from those sensors, analysing their individual behaviour and analysing time correlation between patterns recognized from each of the sensors. Prediction of patterns or combination of patterns is enabled by analysing partial history of sensors' outputs.

Abstract: A unified collaboration environment is formed by establishing a local workspace positional frame of reference using a plurality of UWB transceivers. With a frame of reference established a communication link is established between each of the workspaces, and a collaboration module to establish a peer-to-peer network. Data is received from each of the workspaces including the local workspace frame of reference, the set of available assets and workspace behavior (tasks). The collaboration module crafts a unified collaboration environment by transforming the local workspace into a collaborative positional frame of reference. A user, through a user interface, can offer real-time input to a virtualized version of the workspace to augment actions within the workspace environment.
