Abstract: The invention discloses a processing method for poultry oil. The method comprises: placing a crude poultry oil at a predetermined temperature for forming a mixture containing liquid-type oil and solid-type oil; and harvesting the liquid-type oil from the mixture at the predetermined temperature. The predetermined temperature is set between 13° C. and 17° C., and the tolerance for the temperature measurement is ±2° C. Accordingly, compared to the crude poultry oil, the processed poultry oil has a good commercial appearance without solid precipitation at room temperature.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and protein compositions having advantageous properties, such as a high uncorrected limiting amino acid score as well as favorable amounts of essential amino acids, branched chain amino acids, as well as other amino acids more difficult to find in the regular diet. The protein composition is obtainable as taught herein from algal or microbial biomass. The protein composition produced according to the methods of the invention provides a proteinaceous food or food ingredient that is more nutritionally balanced (and therefore nutritionally superior) to protein compositions otherwise available. The protein material is advantageously used as a food or food ingredient for humans and/or animals. Also provided are methods of producing the protein material from biomass sources.

Abstract: A method for making a cooked food product comprises blending an uncooked protein source (e.g., chicken) and at least one dehydrated ingredient (e.g., pasta) to form a mixture, and cooking the mixture to form the cooked food product. The mixture is cooked under conditions that cause at least some of the water that is released from the protein source upon cooking to be absorbed into the dehydrated ingredients, so that the dehydrated ingredients become “hydrated” or softened, instead of all of the water being released from the mixture. The cooked food product may be in the form of a nugget and may include a breading composition coated on the exterior surface of the nugget. The absorption of water from the meat into the dehydrated ingredients inhibits moisture from seeping out through the breading, keeping the outer breaded layer relatively crisp.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an atomizer for an electronic cigarette. The atomizer includes a housing, a sealing cover, a mouthpiece, an atomizing device, and an air pipe. The housing has a first end and a second end. The housing defines a liquid chamber configured for containing tobacco liquid. The atomizing device is configured for atomizing the tobacco liquid to form aerosol. The first end defines a liquid filling opening in communication with the liquid chamber. When the sealing cover is connected with the first end, the sealing cover seals the liquid filling opening. The sealing cover defines an air inlet. The air pipe and the liquid chamber cooperatively define an annular air passage in communication with the air inlet, so that external air can enter the air inlet and reach the atomizing device through the air passage, and then together with the aerosol can be expelled via the mouthpiece.
