A zipper has a male member and a female member continuously attached to an outer edge of the front flap and the back flap, respectively. The male member is configured to slidingly engage the female member to securely attach the front flap to the back flap. At least one single slit is horizontally disposed within the interior surface of the front flap and, alternately, the interior surface of the back flap. A plurality of slits is horizontally and medially disposed within the interior surface of each of the front flap and the back flap.

Abstract: A case for an electronic device is disclosed. The case may include several layers. An inner layer may be made from a rigid material such as plastic. An outer layer is molded to an exterior portion of the inner layer. A fabric layer formed from a material such as microfiber is adhesively secured to an interior layer of the inner layer, the inner layer opposite the exterior layer. The inner layer may further include a recessed portion that receives a camera trim made from an opaque material. In this regard, when the electronic device is positioned within the case, the camera trim improves image capturing of a camera of the electronic device by blocking reflected light from a camera flash emitted by the electronic device.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide cases for mobile electronic devices. The cases may include a body configured to be selectively secured to a mobile electronic device having at least one sensor proximate to an outer surface thereof and a cover slidably coupled to the body. The cover is slidable between a first position and a second position relative to the body such that when the cover is in the first position, the at least one sensor is blocked by the cover and when the cover is in the second position, the at least one sensor is not blocked by the cover.

Abstract: A protective case for use with an electronic device includes a cushion layer and a structural layer. The cushion layer is configured to cover at least a portion of the electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the protective case. The structural layer is configured to surround at least a portion of the cushion layer. The structural layer includes a back portion, at least two side walls, a slot in the back portion for removably retaining a card, and a rack and pinion system configured for selectively ejecting the card, at least partially, from the slot.

Abstract: A hanging system for displaying, storing, and protecting handbags. The hanging system comprises a curved holder, a mounting system, and protective cover. The system ensures handbags are protected and maintain their original integrity by providing for adequate aeration, proper positioning, and protection from dust and light. The channels on the holder may hold the handles of the cover in place. The holder may have aeration holes to prevent mold growth and moisture buildup on the stored handbag. In mounting the holder a spacer ensures the bags hang without interference from the environment. The hanging system may be mounted to various substrates in a variety of configurations compatible with horizontal and vertical orientation based on user preference.

Abstract: When a cosmetic material is stored for several months, even in the case where hydrogen is contained in the cosmetic material at the beginning, hydrogen is gradually effervesced from the cosmetic material and after a certain time period has passed, the anti-oxidant effect cannot be maintained. Therefore, to solve this problem, a hydrogen-enriched cosmetic material container has hydrogen encapsulated in a bag formed of a hydrogen permeable sheet; then placing the hydrogen bag together with a liquid cosmetic material into a soft case formed of a flexible and hydrogen impermeable sheet, and then connecting a manually operable pump member for dispensing the liquid cosmetic material in the soft case through an opening of the soft case in an airtight manner.

By selectively detaching the mounting hardware, the electronic device may be made more compact and portable. In some embodiments, the railing system is fabricated substantially contemporaneous to fabricating the electronic device, such as by extrusion of the railing and the electronic device together. This fabrication approach may reduce the overall cost and complexity of manufacturing the railing system.

The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The armband also includes an arm strap wherein the proximate end of the arm strap is coupled to the pouch, and wherein the arm strap includes: holes arranged in a specified pattern; loop cells at specified locations along the length of the arm strap; and a hook cell located at a distal end of the arm strap. The armband further includes a ring coupled to the pouch configured to allow the distal end of the arm strap to be passed through the ring and pulled toward the proximate end of the arm strap so that the hook cell can be coupled to one or more loop cells.

The stretchable and resilient material is adapted to increase a weight rating of a hand tool retractor when a hand tool retractor is placed within the hand tool retractor cover.

Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for toothbrush sterilization and/or storage with better quality in terms of hygiene and convenience, where the brush head and the shaft that enter the user's mouth are never contacted by the chamber. Also, below the brush head and shaft, there is no chamber. If any drops of water were to fall off the brush head, they would fall all the way through the chamber and reside on the counter on which the chamber rests, which can be removed or cleaned easily later. In one example, we use a UV-C lamp as our sterilization technique. This selection has many advantages over the other sterilizations techniques. In one example, we use a single lamp, but that lamp is in a ring configuration (otherwise known as annular, torus, or donut), with good coverage of the toothbrush, from all angles.

Abstract: A bristled component for a cosmetic applicator comprising: an elongated carrier having a longitudinal axis; and at least a first plurality of bristles including at least one array of bristles ultrasonically welded to the carrier and outwardly extending therefrom according to a first pre-determined pattern, wherein the carrier and the bristles comprise ultrasonically compatible materials, and wherein the bristles are ultrasonically bonded to the carrier through a direct ultrasonic bond between a surface of the carrier and a lengthwise portion of each of the bristles. A process comprises wrapping a yarn around a moving endless band, juxtaposing a support strip with the band's edge, ultrasonically welding the yarn to the first support strip, removing the welded yarn and support strip from the band, and cutting the strip into a plurality of bristled components.

Abstract: The present invention provides a roll-in kitchen unit having an outer housing and a trolley that fits substantially within. The trolley provides a cast frame coupled to a scaling plate for sealing the trolley within the outer housing. In one embodiment, the cast frame is reinforced with inner and outer ribs to minimize deflection of the cast frame and bring the sealing plate into alignment with the corresponding gasket of the outer housing door.

Abstract: An illustrative embodiment of a storage and retrieval system may include a storage assembly supported by a plurality of frame members. The storage assembly may include a plurality of storage members that may be engaged with one another such that each storage member may selectively move along a predetermined path. The exterior of the storage and retrieval system may include a front exterior panel that may be configured with an access port therein for interacting with items positioned on the storage members. The exterior may also include a first and/or second display, scanner, and one or more door flaps to allow/prevent access to the interior of the storage and retrieval system through the access port.

The storage unit can include a frame portion having two vertical supports and a plurality of horizontal cross supports extending perpendicularly from and between the two vertical supports. The storage unit can further include a liner portion constructed from fabric, plastic or other suitable material. The liner portion can be configured for connection to the frame portion and can include a plurality of shelving supports that can be attached to the plurality of horizontal cross supports in order to create a series of angled shelves along the height of the frame portion.

The cabinet slide system can also include a rigid bracket and a support. The rigid bracket can be formed with a vertical section and a horizontal section perpendicular to the vertical section. The fixed base portion can be coupled with the vertical section. The support can be included in the horizontal section. The fixed base portion can be contiguously and detachedly rested on the support to arrest rotational torque of the telescoping slide member upon being placed under load.

Abstract: An improved seating apparatus and system includes an interconnected plurality of articulating assemblies having an upright position and a seated position. Each of the articulating assemblies includes a seat member pivotally connected to a base member, and a back member pivotally connected to the seat member. The articulating assemblies are configured to pivot incrementally relative to one another between the seated position and the upright position. A portion of the articulating assemblies can be in the seated position while another portion can be in the upright position. The result can be a wave-like and/or curvilinear seating surface. The articulating assemblies are configured to automatically return from the seated position to the upright position. The articulating assemblies can be configured to articulate in two directions to provide two seating surfaces positioned on opposite sides of the back member of the seating apparatus.

Abstract: A folding bed includes a bed frame and a bedding fitted onto the bed frame. The bed frame includes left and right longitudinal poles, vertical poles and groups of slanting poles. Each of the left and right longitudinal poles includes at least three pole pieces sequentially and pivotally connected together at adjacent end portions by unidirectional pivotal connection seats. Adjacent unidirectional pivotal connection seats are disposed facing in opposite directions with respect to each other, allowing the pole pieces to fold upwards or downwards. Upper ends of vertical pole are connected to corresponding unidirectional pivotal connection seats. Each group of slanting poles includes two slanting poles crosswise pivotally connected to each other. Upper ends of slanting poles are pivotally connected to support seats disposed on the pole pieces.

Abstract: A foundation for a mattress is formed from a foam block and supports that extend across the bottom side of the foam block. The supports are preferably secured within channels in the bottom side of the foam block and can be attached to the foam block by an adhesive. The foam block is made of foam rigid enough to support a mattress and is compressible so it has a compressed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the compressed configuration, the foundation may be folded into a compact form and vacuum-sealed in a plastic membrane which easies in storage, shipping, and delivery of the foundation. When the foundation is delivered to its place of use, the compressed foundation can be removed from its packaging, allowing the foam block to return to its expanded configuration and placed onto a standard bed frame with the supports providing crosswise support across the frame.

The means to heat the tube as well as the inflatable connection are capable of being removable to enable repositioning or portability of the tube and means to heat the tube.

Abstract: A mattress wherein a plurality of independent yarn based fire barrier fabrics encases a plurality of distinct and unattached interior core structures. The plurality of interior core structures include at least a detached and internally flippable upper comfort layer assembly with a plurality of non-homogeneous foams or filling materials encased in a yarn-based fire barrier fabric and a lower, interiorly disposed support core structure with resilient filling materials encased in a yarn-based fire barrier fabric and a fabric cover. The detachable and internally flippable upper comfort layer assembly may be contained in a user accessible compartment that is fashioned into an outer cover assembly.

Abstract: The present technology provides an encasement comprising a fabric cover formed of bed bug impervious fabric. The encasement comprises an opening with a zipper mechanism disposed therein and operable to close the opening. The encasement also comprises a barrier attached to the fabric cover, extending along and opposite the zipper tracks. The encasement also comprises a channel between the barrier and said zipper tracks that receives a portion of the zipper head and becomes an enclosed channel when said zipper tracks are mated together. The channel has a confined space of a size to thwart bug movement along the channel.
