  • Patent number: 9816632
Abstract: An actuated valve system operates (open/close) automatically under overpressure condition. The system includes an on/off valve assembly, a spring actuator assembly configured to actuate the on/off valve assembly to open or close a path for the pressurized fluid, a lock mechanism with one locking yoke and two rotatable locking handles, a collapsible pin type pressure sensing assembly configured to trigger the action of the spring actuator assembly, and a pressure sensing line. The collapsible pin type pressure sensing assembly includes a body, a plunger with two stems, one of which is rigidly connected with the locking yoke, and a collapsible pin, which mechanically fails when the fluid pressure reaches the predetermined level. When the collapsible pin fails, the plunger moves together with the locking yoke, and the locking yoke loses its restriction to the motive element of the spring actuator assembly, and thus trigger the operation of the actuated valve system.

  • Patent number: 9816652
Abstract: A lock (10) for a tubular connection, blocked axially in a first tubular element and defining an axial opening (14) receiving a second tubular element provided with a circular collar, said lock (10) comprising elastically deformable cradles provided with inside bevels (13) designed so that, while the second tubular element is axially engaged, they move radially apart under the effect of the axial pressure of the circular collar, allow same to pass through, and then move back in to clamp behind the circular collar and to co-operate therewith to lock the second tubular element axially in the first tubular element. Each cradle (11) is provided with a raised axial ridge (15) with a width (l) less than the width (L) of the cradle (11), and is intended during the axial engagement, to receive the axial thrust from the circular collar. A tubular connector is obtained with such a lock (10).

Abstract: There is provided a breakaway coupling between two lines. The first coupling half possesses an opened jaw, which is formed by catch pieces of the short lever arms of dual-arm catch levers, which are pre-stressed in the closing direction by compression springs, and in this way engage behind oblique surfaces of an end flange of the second coupling half. When a predetermined pulling force on the lines is exceeded, the breakaway coupling disengages.

  • Patent number: 9816654
Abstract: In a rapid coupling, a pipe nipple engages a through hole of a socket. A first annular groove provided on the pipe nipple serves to catch a locking ring provided in the socket, in order to lock the coupled condition. A sleeve is movable on the pipe nipple, the sleeve having an inner projection to be retained by the first annular groove of the pipe nipple in a pre-assembled condition. When the pipe nipple is inserted into the socket, the sleeve abuts the socket and is then moved along the pipe nipple until the inner projection is caught by a second annular groove if the coupling is properly locked. It the pipe nipple is not moved into the socket to such an extent that the locking ring is caught by the first annular groove, the second annular groove remains visible outside the sleeve to indicate the improper coupling condition.

Abstract: A lock member is provided in a housing movably between a standby position and a connected position. In a state wherein the lock member is locked in the standby position, when a pipe is inserted into an opening portion of the housing, the lock member is unlocked so as to be movable into the connected position; however, a tip portion of a detection stopper abuts against a flange portion of the pipe so as to prevent the lock member from moving into the connected position. Next, when the pipe is inserted further, and the flange portion passes the position of the detection stopper, the detection stopper moves into the connected position together with the lock member.

  • Patent number: 9816660
Abstract: The subject matter of the invention is a lining hose as a composite hose for lining a pressure pipe to be renovated, comprising at least one first layer and a second layer which adjoins the first layer, the first layer forming a substantially fluid-tight and/or gas-tight diffusion barrier and the second layer being a textile fabric soaked in a resin and being provided for an all-over adhesive connection to an inner wall of the pressure pipe to be renovated, the lining hose being flexible in a state in which the resin has not cured. The second layer is at least 3 mm thick, the textile fabric and the resin being selected such that the lining hose forms a self-supporting pipe in a state in which the resin has cured. The invention also relates to a method for renovating a pressure pipe using such a lining hose and a corresponding renovated pressure pipe.
