The server transmits to the delivery device instructions to deliver the package to the first kiosk. Subsequently, the server receives a request from a user computing device to retrieve the package from the first kiosk and deliver the package to an alternate kiosk. The server transmits to the delivery device instructions to retrieve the package from the first kiosk and instructions to deliver the package to the alternate kiosk. The delivery device retrieves the package from the automated kiosk and delivers the package to the alternate kiosk.

Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for processing return transactions over a network. An embodiment of the invention discloses an online return application that generates an electronic return shipping label that can be delivered to a browser of a customer that wishes to make a return. The glasses are shipped to a venue for distribution to patrons and collected from patrons in the trays. Inventory and other measures are implemented by RFID scanning while the glasses are in the trays (e.g., upon delivery to a theater, on collection from the theater, upon inspection at the 3D rental company, etc). Data gathered from RFID scanning and inspections allows the rental company to properly allocate rental costs to various venues based on shrinkage which includes, for example, extraordinary wear of the glasses, breakage or theft, which is attributable and traceable to the specific venues. The theater or venue may also independently scan the trays upon delivery and pick-up to maintain their own records. The invention includes 3D glasses with RFID, a washing rack, and rental systems.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for handling social media inputs in an existing multi-channel converged CSTA based infrastructure. The methods and systems may be characterized by determination of priority and potential churn index of the inputs received from sentiment analysis module based on predetermined parameters. The inputs are translated into qualifier by using predetermined combinations of severity index and anticipated churn index, which are then adapted into the CSTA specifications. Thereafter, the method and system includes determination of routing of the adapted posts for further treatment using inbound mechanism or outbound mechanism. Specifically, the routing of the inbound post is carried out leveraging the “one number service” of the CSTA based infrastructure.

Abstract: Object oriented design strategies and patterns are applied to financial data processing systems for processing and modeling of financial products (also referred to as financial instruments) with an emphasis being on derivative products. The system employs valuation independent, well-defined financial components (also referred to as financial events) that can be combined to build new financial structures. A general purpose software model is provided for representing the structure and characteristics of these products. A declarative specification language is provided to describe financial instruments in a consistent manner that lends itself to processing in such an object oriented system. A general traversal process is provided that can be applied to the macro structure of a financial instrument to implement various functions that produce results based on such information, such as the stream of financial events associated with the instrument, or the pricing or valuation of the instrument.

Abstract: Techniques for automated transactions are provided. A customer uses a mobile device to interact with a self-service checkout device (SSCO) to perform a transaction. Initially, a unique barcode for the transaction is generated and displayed to the customer, via an attract screen of the SSCO. The mobile device scans the barcode (can be a QR code); this causes the mobile device to communicate with a remote server that identifies the customer. Preferences for the customer are retrieved and the transaction and features of the SSCO are configured based on the preferences. The transaction proceeds with the configured preferences.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus identify downhole equipment and correlate input data with the equipment to improve planning and/or inventory operations. For some embodiments, oilfield equipment or tubular goods such as drill pipe include a shaped recess along an outer circumference for receiving a tag cartridge by shrink fitting. Once tagged, detector system configurations at pipe yards may facilitate logging the presence and location of each drill pipe and correlating specific data, such as inspection data, to each drill pipe. Further, this correlation populates a database utilized to achieve other business functions such as forecasting number of additional drill pipe needed to purchase, invoicing customers according to actual tracked wear/use of the drill pipe being returned, and providing well or job specific drill string population using known history pipe joints.

Abstract: Provided are computer implemented methods and systems for facilitating mobile device payments using barcodes displayed on mobile devices and scanned by merchants at checkout counters. When a customer is ready to tender a payment to a merchant, instead of using a credit card, cash, or check, the customer activates an application on his mobile device. The mobile device includes or obtains information about the payment system of this merchant. Furthermore, the mobile device includes or obtains information about the customer/mobile device user and then uses these two pieces of information to generate and display a barcode that encodes customer payment information specific to this merchant. The barcode is scanned at the checkout counter and processed to retrieve customer records from a database of the payment processing system. These records are then used to transfer funds between the merchant and customer, obtain discounts, and/or perform other retail transactions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for providing access to account information using authentication tokens are presented. In some embodiments, a customer of a financial institution may visit an account information aggregator site and request to add an account maintained by the financial institution to a collection of accounts for which the aggregator may collect account information on behalf of the customer. Rather than providing their username, password, and/or other bank login credentials to the aggregator, the customer may be redirected to a page provided by the financial institution where the customer can enter their credentials and authenticate with the financial institution. After authenticating the customer, the financial institution may generate a token and provide the token to the aggregator.

Abstract: The AUGMENTED SMART TAG SECURITY APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“ASTS”) transform video and other media inputs of POS terminals and markers associated with tags and codes via ASTS components into ways to validate the POS security and instructions/restrictions regulating access to and action on the data stored in the tags and codes. In one implementation, the ASTS receives from a user's device identifying markers of smart tag enabled point of sale devices. Upon receiving the markers, in some implementations, the ASTS mayverify the security of the received smart tags and markers, and retrieve from the markers instructions and restrictions directed at the smart tag based transactions. In some implementations, the ASTS may provide authorization to the user device to proceed with the transaction according to the instructions and restrictions based on the security of the smart tags and the markers.

The present invention can increase the difficulty of an attack, and improve security.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for processing payment transactions that are conducted using a mobile payment device that includes a contactless element, such as an integrated circuit chip. The invention enables one or more of the operations of activation of a payment application, transfer of transaction data, updating of account records, setting or re-setting of a payment application counter or register, or transfer or processing of a script, command, or instruction, with these functions being performed with minimal impact on a consumer. This is accomplished by introducing a pre-tap and/or two-tap operation prior to, or as part of, the transaction flow.

In some embodiments of the invention, a unique signature is created based at least in part on a hardware profile of the system. In some embodiments, user input entered in response to the user viewing the key is received and it is determined whether to proceed with transaction payment authentication based at least on whether the received user input matches the created key.

Abstract: A method for authenticating an access attempt includes detecting an access attempt by a user device over a network. A challenge-response authentication is provided over the network to the user device. The challenge-response authentication includes an image having a plurality of image objects. The challenge-response authentication is operable to display the image such that at least one of the plurality of image objects is in focus and at least one of the plurality of image objects is not in focus. In response to providing the challenge-response authentication, an authentication response is received from the user device over the network, and it is determined whether the authentication response includes an indication of the at least one of the plurality of image objects that is in focus to determine whether to authenticate or deny the access attempt.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for systems to determine potential fraudulent activity associated with online financial transaction identity-based transaction decisioning, to electronically determine decisions for transactions such as account opening, and the like. The embodiments herein described accurately provide a system tool to prevent fraudulent transactions from occurring, such as preventing accounts from being opened by individuals who present an identity risk and efficiently identify such risky applicants early in an automated decisioning process. Specific embodiments provide for electronically determining a transaction decision based on applying business rules to potential fraud indicators. In other embodiments of the invention, a decisioning score is determined that takes into account the application of predetermined business rules to potential fraud indicators.

For instance, in one example embodiment, an apparatus may calculate miles traveled by the vehicles along a predefined route and may calculate a fuel usage of the vehicles for traveling along the route to obtain one or more fuel values. The apparatus may also analyze data indicating the miles traveled and the fuel values to determine fuel efficiency values corresponding to the vehicles traveling the route. The apparatus may also determine an estimate of an amount of carbon emissions for each of the vehicles based in part on applying at least one carbon emission value to respective fuel values associated with corresponding determined fuel efficiency values.

Abstract: Embodiments presented herein generally relate to novel systems and methods for managing electronic coupons. In embodiments, the user uploads one or more coupons into a mobile device. While shopping, the mobile device receives communications from one or more NFC sensors/transmitters associated with one or more products in one or more product displays. The mobile device can determine from information in the communication to which product the communication applies. The mobile device can then search for one or more uploaded coupons that apply to the one or more products. In embodiments, the mobile device alerts the user when one or more of the coupons apply.

Abstract: A closed-loop marketing system and method provides the ability to measure the return on investment of marketing programs across channels, both online and offline, including impression, page view and response levels. The present invention provides mechanisms for measuring a marketing department's contribution to the sales pipeline by taking into account the effect of multiple campaigns. A multi-campaign attribution methodology takes into measures the effect of a first touch (a campaign that first brought in an account), a last touch (a campaign that was presented immediately prior to the closing of a deal or creation of a sales-ready opportunity), and any significant re-touch events (campaigns that represent lead-nurturing and/or remarketing efforts).

The application then requests an advertisement of the selected type for the mobile communication device from an advertisement data store, wherein the advertisement types comprise a static image type, an animation type, a video type, and a high definition video type. The application then receives the advertisement from the advertisement data store. The application then transmits the advertisement to the mobile communication device.
