Abstract: A hair styling device comprising two hinged arms able to move relative to each other for the receiving and shaping of a strand of hair. Each arm carries a shaping plate on its side facing the other arm. These shaping surfaces making contact with the hair strand being styled. The hair being styled is pulled past these shaping surfaces. One of the two arms has a hair support on its side carrying the shaping plate. The hair support is arranged at a spacing from the shaping surface of the other arm, so that the other arm can be introduced into an arm support between the hair support and the shaping surface of the shaping plate of the arm carrying the hair support. The shaping plates of the two arms which cooperate with each other for the hair styling can move relative to each other in the manner of scissors.

Abstract: A packaged antiperspirant product is provided. The packaged antiperspirant product includes an anhydrous antiperspirant composition having an antiperspirant active and a package having a container body with an interior chamber storing the anhydrous antiperspirant composition. A dome closes one end of the container body and has a plurality of apertures extending through the thickness of the dome. A movable elevator is disposed within the container body. The anhydrous antiperspirant composition is expellable through the plurality of apertures when the elevator is advanced toward the dome. The dome is formed at least in part from a thermally conductive material and wherein one of the dome or the thermally conductive material have a thermal conductivity greater than about 5 W/m·K.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for a standing mirror having a round, flat mirror disposed in substantially the horizontal plane so that it faces upwardly allowing an operator to see hard to reach and see areas of the body. The mirror is disposed in a frame having a conventional razor disposed in a receptacle thereon along with lights disposed in the rim that make the mirror visible for use in darkened areas. Suction tubes disposed on the mirror remove cut hair into a pouch which hangs onto the side of the mirror. A plurality of supporting folding legs having telescoping sections and pivoting sections support the mirror.

Abstract: A support system for an optical instrument having a neck strap with lower ends for supporting the instrument on the torso of a user, the system including an carrying case having a top opening and supportable by a pair of elastomeric case support straps each coupleable to an intermediate portion of the neck strap to position the case to enclose the instrument, and a strap assembly coupleable to the lower portion of the case and attachable to a belt or garment of a user, wherein downward displacement of the case will expose the instrument for removal and elevation to eye level use by the user, whereby the case will be elevated and returned to its carrying position, and a case lid having a closure fastener releaseable upon downward movement of the case for permitting removal and reception of the instrument for use and storage.

Abstract: A delivery tip for flowable materials with bristles or fibers extending therefrom. The tip is a cannula with a tapered outlet and features a bristle or fiber bundle with a binding restriction member that interfaces with the cannula at some point within the cannula but has a smaller cross-sectional area for flow passage than the cannula at that point. The bristle or fiber bundle extends out of the tapered outlet. The delivery tip may connect to a material reservoir with flowable material. When positive pressure is applied to the reservoir, material then will flow through the cannula, around the restriction member, into the bristles or fibers and out the outlet for distribution to a desired surface.

A first tab and a second tab are formed by first and second tab perforations in the base panel, with the first and second tabs positioned between the third score line and the second transverse boundary. First and second slits may be formed in the continuous sheet, and the first and second tabs can be inserted into the first and second slits after the panels are folded about the score lines to form the support holder.

The apparatus includes a drawer slidably mounted to the cabinet and a motorized axis to slide the drawer relative to the cabinet. A box slidably mounts to the drawer and includes another motorized axis to slide the box relative to the drawer. A limit device is adjustable to define a set position as the end of motion of the motorized axis that slides the drawer. The limit device is adjustable to define the extent of motion at one of a plurality of positions. The method includes providing the apparatus and adjusting the limit device to a clear position so that the box clears an obstacle when the drawer is disposed with the drawer motorized axis at the clear position, and operating the switch.

Abstract: A bedhead and a collapsible bed frame with the bedhead are provided. The bedhead includes at least two unitary frames. Each unitary frame has at least one storage room at a back thereof. After the collapsible bed frame is disassembled, it can be accommodated in the storage room of the bedhead. For transportation, the parts of the bed frame are accommodated in the storage room of the bedhead, and the unitary frames of the bedhead are folded to form a box. The volume of the bed frame and the bedhead after folded is reduced greatly to be transported and stored conveniently.

Other materials, such as mesh and satin materials, may be used to complete construction of the pillow. The pillow may take on familiar shapes, such as a dog. When the integrated padded mesh material is used in a pillowcase the pillowcase may be wrapped around a conventional pillow to increase air flow during rest. The pillowcase may include several layers such as the integrated padded mesh material and an allergy-blocking fabric.

The holder plates can be brought from an open insertion position into a closed holding position and enclose the objects placed on the positioning plate. By means of a special embodiment of the positioning plate and the novel embodiment of the rotary support of the holder plates, a unit is created that is closed in the holding position, in which the objects placed in it are unequivocally fixed and secured on the positioning plate, so that the unit can be transported and set up again at a different location.

This is done by latching the belts or linear items to the device using eyelets, clasps, clips or closeable hooks (e.g. carabiner spring hooks or reversible wire gates or closeable rings). This device stores linear items in a space-efficient way when a plurality of items attached are hung, allows better organizing and viewing of the items stored, even in a crowded space. In addition it securely attaches the items stored to the attachment mechanism and allows retrieval of items easily without the need to remove the whole device from the support member.

The guide surface guides debris entrained in an airflow in the cyclone chamber in a helical path about an axis of the separation device and into the collection chamber. The guide surface extends about the axis of the separation device through an angle of less than 360 degrees for allowing debris in the cyclone chamber to also pass into the collection chamber from the cyclone chamber in an axial direction. The leading end of the guide member is at an angle between 30° and 60° towards the cyclone chamber with respect to the axis of the separation device to promote a helical flow of air and debris flowing over the guide surface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of, and a device for, detecting clogging of a dishwasher filter. The device is arranged to drain the dishwasher on process water, measure operating current of a motor driving a dishwasher drain pump and determine whether the dishwasher filter is clogged based on the measured drain pump motor operating current.

Abstract: A drying system for a dishwasher including a passive vent assembly mounted to a top portion of the dishwasher. The passive vent assembly includes a passive vent structure having a series of air vents defined therein and through which drying air flows are drawn into the wash chamber of the dishwasher, a diffuser mounted over the air vents and including a series of fins for spreading the drying air flows across the wash chamber, and a moisture trap hood mounted over an upper surface of the passive vent structure.
