Abstract: The garment bag of the present invention offers two means of hanging garments, both on the interior and on the exterior of the bag. The interior hangers are used when packing, storing, and transporting the user's garments. The exterior collapsible and removable rack is employed when the bag is used at an event/competition. This hanging system is an improvement over existing dance bags in two distinct ways: the upright bag design with the interior hangers allows the user to effectively fit, store, and organize their garments while existing bags lack the interior storage and hanging system; and the present bag provides a collapsible and removable rack that is easily set up and inserted into the bag's exterior holders for holding the garments external to the bag when at an event/competition. Existing dance bags with similar racks require a more difficult assembly and the bag must lie horizontal rather than upright.

Abstract: A customizable bag for interchangeably displaying photos, business logos, and images of characters, such as superheroes, sports teams, celebrities, and the like on the exterior a bag. The customizable bag includes a main compartment and one or more secondary compartments for carrying objects therein. The bag further includes one or more pockets disposed within a main compartment or a secondary compartment, such that the exterior surface of the bag serves as a front wall for a pocket. The pocket includes a transparent window disposed on the front wall thereof, wherein the pocket can receive an insert having an image thereon. An opening is disposed on the pocket that enables the insert to be inserted into the pocket, wherein the image is then displayed through the transparent window. The opening is closable by a fastener in order to protect the insert from becoming wet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of shaping a fibrous material and treatment compositions therefor. The method comprises providing a treatment composition comprising an active agent and a photocatalyst, applying the treatment composition to the fibrous material to form a treated fibrous material, mechanically shaping the treated fibrous material, and exposing the treated fibrous material to electromagnetic radiation. The treatment composition comprises an active agent, wherein the active agent comprises a high-polarity functional group, preferably selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl groups, carboxylic acid groups, and combinations thereof; and a photocatalyst.

Abstract: Hair devices and methods which elongate curly hair by use of gravitational force, as the mass of the device weighs more than the hair section in order to transform curly hair into a wavy or straight coiffure. The device can be used as either a styling tool or an ornamental hair accessory that remains in the hair. The invented device is particularly advantageous for tightly coiled hair patterns of hair. The device can include a first and second curved metal form, each having a plurality of ventilation cut-outs and tab ends which allow each of the forms to attach to one another in an oval configuration, which can be wrapped about a hair bundle, or in which a hair bundle can be inserted therein. Concave curved recesses in the plates can allow for another pair of curved plates that forms a second oval shape to be attached to each other by pin type members.

Abstract: A brush is provided herein, the brush having heating elements dispersed on and protruding from its face and spacers arranged to maintain a specified distance between protruding ends of the heating elements and a scalp of a head that is being brushed. The spacers are dispersed on the brush's face at a specified density that assures maintaining the specified distance with respect to a resilience of the spacers.

Abstract: A depilation device operative to tweeze hairs from a narrow, selected area on a skin surface, continuously. Relatively short hairs may be tweezed. Additionally, relatively rapid and painless tweezing is provided. The depilation device is ergonomically designed for easy and effective hair tweezing.

Accordingly, an appropriate amount of the liquid cosmetic material impregnated into the impregnation body can be held and a thick line can be drawn by the thick applicator storing the liquid cosmetic material. In this way, since the liquid cosmetic material is stored in the lid while being impregnated with the impregnation body, the liquid cosmetic material does not leak from the lid even in a posture in which the lid separated from the container body is disposed, for example, laterally or reversely.

Abstract: Devices and methods for displaying beauty and other visual products are disclosed. A display system can include a frame and a sample portion. Traits such as color and texture of a beauty product can be displayed on the sample portion, and the frame portion can interface with product shelving to align samples with relevant products in the display. The sample portion can be releasably attached to the frame to be removed by a user and be placed above a body part of the user to which a beauty product may be applied, or a body part can be placed in proximity to the sample portion even while it is attached to the frame. The user can advantageously view the beauty product as applied to the body part without applying the beauty product. The system is useful for fingernail polish display, for example.

Abstract: In various embodiments, there are provided different methods of batch sizing. One method provides for the stylist having a matrix chart outlining as a percentage of or total amount of ingredients needed to create a mixture based on customer characteristics and/or service requested. In another method, batch sizing adjustment criteria includes a series of questions that provide user input. These methods enable the stylist to be capable of creating a more accurate batch sizing using the batch sizing adjustment criteria. The batch sizing of the formula may be performed by the stylist themselves or automatically done by a computer-driven system.

Abstract: A carrying system comprising a load receptive unit for at least partly covering the back of a user, a first carrying strap extending between a first position of an upper section of said load receptive unit and a first position of a lower section of said load receptive unit, a second carrying strap extending between a second position of an upper section of said load receptive unit and a second position of a lower section of said load receptive unit, and a connecting device. The connecting device comprises a first portion arranged on the first carrying strap and a second portion arranged on the second carrying strap and releasably attachable to the first portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion of the connecting device are displaceably arranged along the extension of the first and second carrying strap. Abstract: Backpacks and backpack systems which have at least a portion which is accessible from the front of a wearer. In one illustrative embodiment, a backpack system in accordance with the present invention includes a back portion with shoulder straps. A swing-around portion is formed as a storage compartment that is secured to the back portion in a carrying position. An articulated frame is secured to the back portion and the swing-around portion and allows a user wearing the backpack to pivot the swing around portion around the user's side and access the contents therein. A securing latch is used to secure the articulating frame to retain the swing-around portion in the carrying position. The entire storage compartment of the pack may be a swing-around portion, or the pack may include multiple storage compartments that are either fixed to the back portion or function as swing-around portions.

Abstract: The invention comprises devices and methods for carrying quantities of materials preferably fluids. The device of the invention is preferably a wearable garment such as, preferably a vest or poncho, with one or more bladders or compartments adapted to hold a fluid. Preferably the garment comprises fluid connections between the bladders. The connections allow for the distributing the load over the carrier, which is preferably a person. The invention is designed to be inexpensive to manufacture, capable of easy manufacture in large numbers, and, if desired, disposable or repurposed. The device significantly enhances the ability of an individual to provide water or other fluids or materials to individuals or groups such as families. Preferably the invention allows for the transport of potable water from a supply point to the point of end use with minimal or no discomfort to the wearer.

Electrical and signal wires are routed through conduit access plates provided at the back box. Electrical or other equipment is mounted to a removable device door. The removable device door with mounted equipment is attached to the support frame, then rotated upwards to fit flush with the ceiling and fastened to the support frame. A variety of power receptacles are provided that are configured to be mounted to either the back box, the inner enclosure, or the removable device door. The enclosure includes a cooling system comprising an electrically powered fan and air ducts integrated into the inner enclosure.

Abstract: A counter module system is provided, which may allow for partial or full self check-in by a passenger at a transportation facility, such as an airport. The system may comprise a counter module having multiple bays each for receiving an equipment module. An equipment module may be compatible for installation in some or all of the bays. Easy customization of equipment may be achieved by installing the desired equipment in an equipment module and then rolling the module into an open bay in the counter module. The modularity may also allow for easy access to equipment for maintenance or resupply. When a piece of equipment stops working, the module containing the equipment may be removed from the bay and either quickly repaired or replaced with another module. The system may also have features for providing proper alignment of an equipment module within a bay of the counter module.
