Abstract: The automatic sorting of laundry items requires a knowledge of all sorting criteria. One strives to read these out from data storage media attached to the laundry items. The problem is when laundry items lack data storage media, or they are not readable because they have been damaged, for example. The invention calls for deriving sorting criteria which cannot be otherwise obtained from at least one imaging recording of an imaging device, such as a 3D-camera. Such sorting criteria, which cannot be derived from the picture or recording of the 3D-camera, are derived from supplemental information which can be obtained in different ways. Thus, it is also possible to sort laundry items without data storage medium or with damaged data storage media in a fully automatic or at least largely automatic manner.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, the present invention is directed to improvements to molded fiber products. A first sealant layer can be applied to a prepressed biodegradable molded fiber or to biodegradable molded fiber which has not been prepressed. After the sealant layer has been applied, a heat press process is applied. A biodegradable paint can be applied to the first sealant layer. A sealer or binder can be mixed with paint before it is applied to the first sealant layer. A second sealant layer can be applied to the paint layer. Any binder mixed with the paint, as well as the first and second sealant layers respectively can comprise a natural, synthetic, oil based, or biodegradable polymer sealant, or a combination thereof. Preferably, the first sealant layer, the paint layer, and the second sealant layer add less than 10% of total non-biodegradable weight to the total weight of the molded fiber product.

Abstract: A jetting system for an undersea trencher has jetting conduits extending onward of its trench-cutting jetting swords. Jetting conduit nozzles direct liquid radially from their jetting conduits into the trench after the trench is excavated by the jetting sword cutting nozzles. The jetting conduits direct sufficient liquid into the trench to maintain the mix of trenched soil and water in the trench along the length of the conduits at not more than a super-critical density, extending the distance in which the product being laid in the trench is able to descend in the trench and increasing the likelihood that the product will be buried at the intended trench depth.

The control system may include a first and a second joystick, each of the first and second joysticks configured to move between a neutral and an operational position. Moreover a first and second resistive device may be operatively coupled to the first and second joysticks respectively. The first and second resistive devices may be configured to generate a resistive force to selectively retain the first and second joysticks in the operational position. Additionally, the control system may include a controller in communication with the first and second joysticks and the first and second resistive devices.
