Abstract: The present invention is a tank transport system having a hydraulic tilt tank trailer and a vertical tank. The hydraulic tilt tank trailer includes a utility trailer and a tilt chassis having a tilt chassis frame, where tilt chassis is rotatably attached to the utility trailer. A hydraulic lift system is used to provide the mechanical force to tilt, or rotate, the tilt chassis. The vertical tank includes a hollow body supported by a base frame and a sled frame. To load the vertical tank, the vertical tank is positioned to rest on the sled frame and tilt chassis is tilted from the towing position to the loading/unloading position. The vertical tank is pulled onto the tilt chassis where only the sled frame is in contact with the tilt chassis. The tilt chassis is then tilted, or rotated, back into the towing position for transportation.

Abstract: A vehicular lighting system includes low beam headlamps, high beam headlamps and a control unit configured so that during operation of the lighting system, the control unit determines the operational status of the high beam headlamp and selectively adjusts the illuminating intensity of the low beam headlamp. In particular, the brightness of the low beam headlamp can be increased during periods where the high beam is not being, thereby allowing the low beam to more closely approximate the brightness of the high beam, but without the glare associated with conventional high beam patterns. In this way, artificially low illuminating intensity limitations placed on the low beam headlamps can be overcome during periods where the lighting system is operating but the high beams are not in use.

Abstract: Airbag cushion assemblies for aspirating ambient air to enhance inflation. Some embodiments may comprise an inflation module comprising an inflator and a plurality of high-velocity nozzles fluidly coupled with the inflator and configured to deliver inflation gas from the inflator into an airbag cushion. A housing coupled to the airbag cushion, may comprise an aspiration inlet configured to allow for receipt of ambient air into the airbag cushion during inflation of the airbag cushion. The plurality of high-velocity nozzles may be configured to, upon actuation of the inflator, draw ambient air into the airbag cushion along with the inflation gas from the inflator. In some embodiments, a valve assembly may be provided that is configured to open upon actuation of the inflator and to close following inflation of the airbag cushion to prevent air and inflation gas from exiting through the aspiration inlet.

Abstract: A hood lifting assembly according to various implementations includes a re-latching feature that allows two slidably coupled plates to be reset, or locked, relative to each other by moving a head of a pin into a keyhole opening of a keyhole slot defined in one of the plates. In an initial position, the head of the pin is spaced apart from the keyhole opening, allowing the pin to move along the keyhole slot from the initial position to a deployed position and then to a reset position. In other implementations, a hood lifting assembly includes an energy absorbing feature. One exemplary energy absorbing feature includes a plate defining an elongated slot that has a narrowed width portion through which a pin travels during movement from the initial position to the deployed position.
