A receiver receives, from a tag coupled to a golf club, data corresponding to an output of a sensor included in the tag. A processor associates the data received from the tag with the determined position, and processes the data received from the tag to determine whether to register a golf shot as having occurred at the determined position. A memory stores a golf shot determined to be registered by the processor along with the determined position.

Abstract: A digital video ramp assembly incorporates process-formed structural LED tiles with modular components that join in a system of scalable structural LED tiles forming a complete LED display structure with integrated LED embedded tiles with interlocking and inter-trans-positioning features sometimes requiring additional structural framing.

Abstract: A liner assembly for a protective helmet has a wrap-around pad inside the helmet with plural circular cells spaced along a curved line, at least one additional cell at each end of the line and one additional cell located off the line. A crown pad removably engageable in a crown of the helmet and two L-shaped jaw pads removably engageable to jaw flaps of the helmet. Each cell includes an outer sheet welded around its perimeter to the perimeter of an inner sheet, each inner sheet engaging a player's head and defining one enclosure for each cell. Each cell containing a foam cushion and multiple spaced apart hollow protrusions contacting the inside of the helmet. Each protrusion has an open large diameter base near the cushion and flat smaller diameter peak engaging the helmet. Each protrusions also having a conical side wall tapering from base to peak.

Abstract: An automatic playing card shuffler incorporating means for detecting marked cards. One or more light spectrum emitters or variable light spectrum illuminators transmit light at frequencies/wavelengths which is reflected off card backs through one or more spectrum filters causing invisible markings to become visible. A camera may capture images of the now visible markings. A camera and software collaborate to capture images and analyze the same for markings on the card backs such as smudges, nicks and scuffs and edge demarcations. The automatic playing card shufflers are configured to not only detect marked cards but to detect patterns relative to the card markings. The automatic card shufflers are communicatively linked with a casino management system and/or security system such that casino personnel may be alerted in real time to the discovery of marked cards.

Abstract: A gaming headset receives a plurality of audio channels during play of a particular game. The plurality of audio channels comprises game audio channels that convey audio for the game, and a chat audio channel that conveys chat audio. The gaming headset includes an integrated analog voiceband modem that modulates data for communication over the chat audio channel, and transmits the modulated data on the chat audio channel that conveys the chat audio. The modulated data may be communicated, via the chat audio channel, to one or more devices associated with one or more other gamers that are engaged in the play of the particular game. The modulated data includes one or more dual tone multi-frequency tones. The gaming headset may also receive data, via the chat audio channel, from one or more devices associated with one or more other gamers that are engaged in the play of the particular game.

Abstract: Systems and methods for associating a wireless device to a host. The wireless device is associated to the host via a binding and discovery process. The binding process establishes the association. A unique identifier and other binding information is provided to the wireless device, which is stored in the wireless device to establish the link to the console. The binding information is retained in the wireless device. The discovery process enables the wireless device to join a session at hosted by the host. The host sends broadcast packets that are compared to the stored information in the wireless device. The broadcast packets are validated and authenticated to complete the discovery process. A visual indicator on the host and/or controller may indicate the success or failure of either the binding or discovery process.

The tiltable post is operable to output a control signal based on a position of the tiltable post relative to a default position. An engagement body is located within the cavity and contacts an engagement surface of the adjustable tensioning mechanism. The engagement body includes a cam surface disposed around an axis of the tiltable post. An adjustment body within the cavity of the stem comprises a follower that contacts the cam surface. The system includes a controller processing the passenger data to determine a passenger state at a particular point in time during the ride experience. The controller determines a location of the automated trackless vehicle on the first ride path. The controller, based on the passenger state and the location of the automated trackless vehicle on the first ride path, determines a second ride path for the automated trackless vehicle for the ride space. The controller then controls the automated trackless vehicle to move from the first ride path to the second ride path to alter the passenger's state to enhance their ride experience.

The blocks are configured to be coupled together in order to build structures with the blocks. The blocks house a trigger mechanism system that when triggered will then actively trigger the adjacent block's trigger mechanism system. Thus, the blocks will disconnect and/or break away from each other in a chain reaction or sequenced manner.

Abstract: A reservoir evaporation system for evaporating fluid from an open reservoir of effluent containing a contaminant includes a fluid evaporator, an air pump, and an air supply conduit functionally connecting the fluid evaporator with the air pump. The fluid evaporator includes a vessel adapted to be positioned in an operative position partially submerged on the top surface of the effluent in the reservoir with a lower chamber submerged in the effluent and an upper chamber extending above the top surface of the effluent. In operation, air from the air pump mixes with the effluent inside the fluid evaporator and subsequently is discharged through exhaust openings. A fluid discharge pipe can also simultaneously discharge aerated effluent back down into the reservoir. Fluid is thereby separated from the effluent in the lower chamber by evaporation in a controlled manner that minimizes spread of contaminants to surrounding environments by wind.

Abstract: The invention concerns a flexible process for purifying a solvent which inhibits the formation of hydrates during gas processing, in particular monoethylene glycol (MEG), said solvent having a boiling point which is higher than that of water and, at least at one point in time, being mixed with water and salts, the process operating in a different manner with the same facility as a function of the quantity of salts in the MEG to be treated. The process operates in accordance with a phase known as reclaiming (separation of salts under vacuum followed by vacuum distillation) when the salts content exceeds the precipitation threshold and if not, the process operates in a regeneration phase (absence of separation of salts and no operation under vacuum). Advantageously, the change is made under the control of means for testing the salts.

Abstract: A condensate treatment system includes a housing attached to an A/C condensate drain line having a biocide received within an interior chamber. A load cell continuously measures the weight of biocide in the interior chamber in order to calculate a remaining amount. A control unit is in communication with the load cell and various sensors for monitoring operational variables associated with the condensate system. The control unit has Wi-Fi capability to allow the sensor readings and the remaining amount of biocide to be accessed wirelessly from a supervisor's remote computer or smart phone. If the control unit detects rising condensate levels in the drip pan or the housing, it disables the air conditioner to prevent an overflow.

Abstract: A screen intake apparatus for a water intake system uses a cleaning system to clean one or more screen intakes. To clean debris from a screen, pipes in the interior of the screen receive pumped liquid (e.g., water or incompressible liquid) from a pump. Outlets, such as apertures or nozzles, on the pipes then direct the pumped liquid into the interior of the screen. One or more valves can vary, agitate, or pulse the flow of pumped fluid and/or can selectively deliver the pumped liquid to the pipes to remove collected debris from the exterior of the screen. A heater of the system can also heat the pumped liquid for delivery to the pipes to remove or prevent ice formation on the screen.

Abstract: An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate may be fixed with an outer enclosure and may be adapted for securing to the machine. The mounting plate may be further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. Oil may pass through the pressure-actuated valve only when an oil pressure differential between the peripheral portion and the central portion of the outer enclosure exceeds a predetermined threshold pressure.

Abstract: A rotary dust screen for a cooling unit of an agricultural vehicle includes a frame having a ring shape, wherein a dust screen is mounted in the frame and wherein the frame includes a seal extending along the ring and comprising a lip adapted to abut, when the rotary dust screen is mounted on the cooling unit, against a housing of the cooling unit to prevent contaminants from entering the cooling unit at an edge of the dust screen, wherein the rotary dust screen further has a driving belt adapted to be driven by a rotary actuator to rotate the dust screen, wherein the driving belt engages with the rotary dust screen at an outer surface of the seal.
