Abstract: A pacifier and a method of making a pacifier. Two or more separate silicone-based materials are joined together with a compression mold such that the pacifier defines a unitary structure where gaps and related crevices associated with multi-piece pacifier construction are avoided while still permitting artwork, differing colors or other aesthetically-pleasing indicia. In one form, one grade of silicon may be utilized in a region of the pacifier that is placed within a baby's or child's mouth, while another grade of silicone material may be used in a region of the pacifier that is not normally associated with placement within a baby's or child's mouth. The aesthetically-pleasing indicia that is formed in or on the pacifier is achieved without recourse to painting, labels, appliques, embossing, decals, stickers or other affixable or markable medium.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes and enables a method of lengthening the appearance of a subject's eye lashes through use of a cellulosic fiber in combination with transplanting gel and a system therefor. The disclosed process and system allows a user to lengthen their eyelashes through use of an only semisynthetic naturally derived fiber such as rayon, which allows a user to avoid use of a fully synthetic fiber such as nylon. The method of the present disclosure comprises applying mascara to a subject's eyelashes and then applying the fibers with a brush while the mascara is still wet. In some cases a transplanting gel is applied first (which may comprise mascara) and then mascara can be applied after the fibers have been applied to the subject's eyelashes. In additional cases, the fibers have also been treated prior to use.
