Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system for securing and using payment token data in a system for processing electronic payment transactions that does not require down-time for rekeying encryption keys when the keys are rotated.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that verifies user access to financial accounts. During operation, the system obtains a first set of financial data representing one or more financial transactions of a first financial account. Next, the system matches the one or more financial transactions to a second set of financial data representing issuance of the one or more financial transactions from a second financial account. The system then uses the matched financial transactions to automatically generate a first verification of ownership of the first financial account by a user without requiring input associated with the one or more financial transactions from the user.

Abstract: A method of making a payment in which payment data is received by a user's terminal from a point-of-sale terminal, a secret of a payment application is received by the terminal from the operator's server system, a trust card is activated in the user's terminal by utilizing said secret of the payment application, and data of the trust card is transmitted from the user's terminal to the point-of-sale terminal for making the payment transaction. A trust card is created in the server system, data of the trust card is transmitted to the terminal to be used for making the payment transaction, the secret of the payment application is formed in the server system, and access to the secret of the payment application is provided to the terminal for activating the trust card for making the payment transaction.

Abstract: A method for secure payment transactions over a network between a support help desk computing system and a customer computing system is provided. The method includes establishing a chat session between the help desk and the customer using a chat application program; receiving a purchase order from the customer; communicating a unique URL payment link to the customer, wherein the URL payment link is configured for allowing the customer to establish communication with an order processing system to provide sensitive payment information to the order processing system; receiving the sensitive payment information at the order processing system communicated from the customer; encrypting the sensitive payment information; providing the encrypted sensitive payment information to the help desk, wherein the encrypted sensitive payment information is displayed in a masked format on a display of the help desk; and completing the purchase order using the encrypted sensitive payment information.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting a test event involving a financial transaction device at a merchant having a merchant profile is disclosed. The method includes receiving data associated with a transaction involving a financial transaction device; calculating a score using at least the transaction data; comparing the score to a threshold value; and attaching a merchant probe flag to the merchant profile if the score exceeds the threshold value. The merchant probe flag indicates a likelihood that a test event has occurred at the merchant based on the score. If a test event has occurred, then financial transaction devices involved in the test event can have their profiles updated to reflect that they have been probed. If a financial transaction device that has been probed is used in a subsequent transaction, then a specialized fraud scoring model can be used to provide an improved fraud risk score.

Abstract: The present embodiment relates to a mobile payment method, system and device using home shopping, wherein OTP (One Time Password) information is verified through a telephone conversation with an agent, ARS or a webpage, depending on the method for purchasing the specific merchandise chosen by the user in the process of executing a mobile payment using home shopping, and electronic payment is executed more rapidly and securely thereby. Embodiments determine a second service provider from the plurality of service providers to peer with to dynamically create a federation of peers for fulfilling the service request, based on the received advertisements of offered services and the requested services. Embodiments then peer with at least the determined second service provider to dynamically create a peered federation and fulfill the service request through the created federation of peers.

The disclosed methods also include when the panelist associated with the client device is determined not to be the audience member of the media at the client device, determining probability scores for respective household members residing in a household with the panelist, the probability scores indicative of probabilities that corresponding ones of the household members are the audience member of the media at the client device, and associating demographic information of one of the household members that has a highest probability score with the logged impression associated with the media.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for implementing extensibility in sales prediction engines. An extensibility framework may be used to modify the metadata schema of the data used by the sales prediction engine to account for extended attributes and entities. The sales prediction engine is also modified to recognize the extended attributes and entities so that a user will be able to create new rules and train new models based on the extended attributes and entities.

Abstract: The ELECTRONIC COUPON ISSUANCE AND REDEMPTION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“ECIR”) transforms user coupon purchase and redemption request inputs via ECIR components into coupon issuance, transaction, and analytics outputs. In some embodiments, the ECIR may receive an inventory request from a coupon program manager, including at least a virtual coupon issue criteria. The ECIR may generate one or more account identifiers, and transmit the account identifiers to the coupon program manager. The ECIR may receive, from the coupon program manager, an issue request along with the purchase information, which may include one or more purchase identifiers corresponding to one or more buyers. The ECIR may determine when the received purchase information satisfies the virtual coupon issue criteria. when it satisfies the criteria, the ECIR may issue one or more virtual coupons having the one or more account identifiers, and transmit the issued virtual cards to the coupon program manager.

Abstract: Devices, computer-implemented methods, and computer-readable media for a redemption header for merchant offers, such as online coupons, are provided. In some embodiments, an offers website may provide offers, such as online coupons, in a browser executing on a user device. When a user selects an online coupon, the browser is redirected to a merchant website associated with the online coupon and a coupon code value is copied to a clipboard. Additionally, a redemption header having the coupon code and instructions is added in the merchant webpage. A webpage element for the redemption header, such as an inline frame, is created in the merchant webpage and the redemption header is provided based on an offer identifier stored in a browser-accessible storage item such as a cookie.

Abstract: There is provided a scheme of communicating reward data from a first application running on a data processing device (100) to a second application on the data processing device (100) for use by the second application. The method comprises the first application obtaining a reward value in response to a user of the first application completing a predetermined task in the first application. In response to a request from the user to claim a reward, the first application generates and transmits: an instruction to place the second application into an interactive state; and reward data, which is generated on the basis of the reward value, for use by the second application in the interactive state. Abstract: An end-to-end automated management system facilitates generation of advertisement proposals, and purchase orders, over one or many media outlets and stations. Once an advertisement proposal is purchased and inserted into a traffic management and billing system, near-real-time performance feedback about the advertisements can be obtained from media consumers through a media presentation application presenting the advertisement, via a social media service, or the like. The consumer feedback and other performance factors, which can be received concurrently with airing of an advertisement, can be considered in determining whether a particular advertisement or an advertising proposal as a whole, is effective in meeting purchaser requirements. Advertisement copy can be changed according to the proposal parameters, without purchaser intervention, to provide near-real-time responsiveness to consumer feedback.

Abstract: A companion advertisement is displayed on a control client which is also used to control the content being shown on a display client. The companion advertisement is related to a video or advertisement being displayed on the display client. Such a companion advertisement takes advantage of previously unused screen real estate and enables the user to interact with the advertisement or view further information without any interruption of the content being displayed on the display client. A server keeps the content displayed on the display client and control client synchronized. The server recognizes when a user is logged into both a display client and a control client and notifies the control client that an advertisement should be displayed. The control client then retrieves an advertisement related to the content on the display client.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments disclosed herein relate to systems and/or methods for distributing advertisements from a central advertisement network to one or more peripheral devices at a location via a local advertisement server. In certain exemplary embodiments, the local advertisement server within a location receives advertisements from the central advertisement network and rebroadcasts them to peripheral devices within that location. Advertising information may be tracked and reported, e.g., for accounting, revenue-sharing, and/or other purposes in certain exemplary embodiments. Thus, in certain exemplary embodiments, the distribution of advertisements is provided to peripherals via a non-web- and non-PC-dependent network. Moreover, in certain exemplary embodiments, reporting and advertising related communications are substantially bi-directional regardless of device type.

These metadata element associations may then be used for any purpose.

Abstract: The disclosure herein provides systems and methods for a media enhancement system configured to associate a secondary media signal (for example, the secondary media signal can comprise an advertisement) to a primary media signal (for example, a radio broadcast). The disclosure herein additionally provides systems and methods for a media enhancement system that enables the generating, transmitting, displaying, and/or responding to a plurality of associated and/or unassociated secondary media signals, based on a primary media content from a primary media signal, user characteristics (for example, demographic and/or geographic information), and/or third-party preferences (for example, the goals of advertisers). The secondary media signals can be used to enhance the primary media content already being provided to the user on a user device. The secondary media signals can also be used to create psychological associations or relationships with the primary media content already being provided to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for pre-loading and displaying intervening content, such as advertisements, on a mobile device during latency periods, such as when an advertiser landing page is requested by that device, are provided herein. Intervening content may be pre-loaded on to the device and associated with one or more particular advertisements such that selecting/interacting with the associated advertisement triggers intervening content display during known or detected periods of latency. In some cases, a latency threshold or thresholds may determine one or more types of content to present, and/or a content presentation sequence.

Abstract: Techniques are described for retrieving advertisements for insertion into a document. Embodiments receive a document comprising a request to retrieve a plurality of advertisement creatives. In response to transmitting the request specified within the received document to the advertisement management system, a single software object defining all of the plurality of advertisement creatives is received. Embodiments insert each of the plurality of advertisement creatives into the document, prior to rendering the document, and then render the document together with the advertisement creatives.

Abstract: A computer system that provides clients access to pooled resources in order to provide computing or data storage services may receive service requests (which explicitly or implicitly include requests for pooled resources), may service at least some of those requests, and may determine pricing for the serviced requests. The pricing for each request may be dependent on whether it was serviced using a portion of a resource pool that was reserved for the use of the client on whose behalf it was received or using burst capacity (e.g., unreserved or otherwise idle capacity within the resource pool). Pricing for the use of reserved capacity may be fixed, regardless of the amount of reserved capacity used. Pricing for burst capacity may depend on actual use, and may be demand-based (e.g., using a spot-market-based dynamic pricing model). Clients with reserved capacity may optionally request access to burst capacity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for administering merchant funded third-party administered rewards programs are provided. The system receives information about a transaction made using a payment device and determines whether the payment device is enrolled in the rewards program. If the payment device is enrolled in the rewards program, the system determines if the transaction qualifies for a reward. If the transaction qualifies for the reward, the system determines a rewards value for the transaction. Thereafter, the system determines a prepaid payment token associated with the payment device and instructs an issuer of the prepaid payment token to load the rewards value onto the prepaid payment token.

Abstract: A system and method of associating an NFC tag to a product and transmitting information about the product are described. An electronic device is used to scan a generic NFC tag affixed to a product to obtain a unique ID code as well as other indicia identifying the product itself, such as a bar code. The unique ID and bar code are then transmitted to a central server, where they are associated with one another and stored in a database. Once associated, a customer may use a separate electronic device, such as a mobile phone or tablet, to scan a product of interest, transmit the unique ID code to the central server, and retrieve from the central server information about the product.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to selectively filtering seed behavior, e.g., user activity used to generate item recommendations, based on the availability of item classifications. Seed behaviors and catalog items may be associated with categories in an electronic catalog, and a particular seed behavior may be used to generate user recommendations if it is more recent than a user's last purchase in the category of the seed behavior. For example, a user's activity in the TV category, e.g., viewing various TV models, may not be used to generate recommendations if the activity occurred prior to the user's purchase of a TV. As a result, additional TVs may not appear in the user's recommendations following the purchase of a TV. However, if classification information is unavailable relating to the purchase, seed behavior may be filtered across a set of categories, not just the TV category to reduce the chance of less effective recommendations.

The method includes the step of receiving, with a processing device of a commerce server, one or more shopping list signals from an electronic computing device to establish a shopping list of a plurality of items offered for sale in a retail store. Each augmented reality device can be worn by a consumer as the consumer shops in the retail store. Alternately, the footwear performance characteristics may vary over the life of the subscription. Thus, the footwear provider may periodically obtain biometric information describing the user's athletic activities or performance. The footwear provider then can tailor the performance characteristics of footwear provided under the subscription to match the user's athletic activities or performance.

The client system can display information identifying the item and, for each of multiple procurement options having information related to ordering the identified item, can display an indication of the procurement option such that selection of the displayed indication represents an ordering of the identified item using the information of the procurement option. In response to selection of a displayed indication, the client system can send to a server computer a request to order the identified item using the information of the procurement option for the selected indication.

A holder may be connected to the mobile shopping aid to travel therewith. The holder may be sized and shaped to hold a mobile computing device.
