  • Patent number: 9969315
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a pneumatic inflator for automatically inflating inflatable articles, such as dunnage bags, to a desired pressure. Generally, once activated, the pneumatic inflator of the present disclosure inflates an inflatable article via a compressed air source until the air pressure inside the inflatable article reaches an operator-selected desired pressure. Thereafter, the pneumatic inflator automatically stops inflating the inflatable article. In various embodiments, the pneumatic inflator also includes a manual shut-off that, when activated while the pneumatic inflator is inflating the inflatable article, causes the pneumatic inflator to stop inflating the inflatable article. The pneumatic inflator of the present disclosure thus enables automatic inflation of inflatable articles to particular, operated-selected desired pressures with limited operator input.

  • Patent number: 9969337
Abstract: Feature detection may be performed on an image. After feature descriptors for each detected feature are computed, feature matching between feature descriptors for the current image and for a key image frame is performed. If a sufficient number of good matches are identified, key points associated with the feature correspondences may be projected from image coordinates to world coordinates. A distance, in the world coordinate frame, between each feature correspondence may he computed. When the computed distances indicate sufficient movement of the mobile agent to ensure accurate motion estimation, a motion estimate may he computed from the pairs of world coordinates associated with the feature correspondences. A current camera pose in a global coordinate frame may be generated. A motion trajectory may then be determined and feature descriptors for the key image may be updated to the feature descriptors for the current image frame.

Abstract: Influence from a rear bag section is prevented or suppressed from being applied to an occupant out of position. In a state in which a side airbag inflates and deploys frontward of a side support section of a seat back, a front-rear partition cloth that partitions a bag body into a front bag section and a rear bag section brings an intermediate portion in a vehicle width direction of a front surface of the rear bag section to be recessed toward a vehicle rearward direction so as to be a valley-shaped recessed portion. Through this, even if the side airbag inflates and deploys while the occupant is located frontward of the side support section, it is possible to prevent or suppress influence from the rear bag section to this occupant.
