  • Patent number: 10022100
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a medical image diagnostic apparatus includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, storage circuitry, slice image generation circuitry, a display. The X-ray tube generates X-rays from a predetermined focus. The X-ray detector detects X-rays which have been generated by the X-ray tube and passed through an object placed on a top plate. The storage circuitry stores volume data about the object. The slice image generation circuitry generates slice images corresponding to planes each including the focus based on the volume data and a relative position of the focus with respect to the top plate. The display displays the slice images.

  • Patent number: 10022101
Abstract: In the present invention, a method and associated system is provided that produces a new sequence of combined X-ray/fluoro images obtained in synchrony with intravascular dataset/images. This synchronization is based on the time tags recorded at the acquisition of one dataset of the X-ray/fluoroscopic images and the intravascular images/datasets and the cardiac cycle correspondence between the combined X-ray/fluoro datasets/images. The combined X-ray/fluoro and intravascular sensor images provided in the method for each position of intravascular measurement/slice along the blood vessel allows the physician the ability to determine the planned position of the treatment, e.g., a stent, in the X-ray/fluoro images based on the intravascular images, and allows an accurate assessment of the target/lesion location in the X-ray/fluoro images during treatment.

  • Patent number: 10022102
Abstract: In an X-ray imaging apparatus, a detection panel has monitor pixels for monitoring X-rays. A signal processor samples a dose signal of a dose per unit time of X-rays according to an output of the monitor pixels. A start detector checks whether irradiation of X-rays is started according to a result of comparison between the dose signal and a start threshold. An AEC device acquires cumulative dose from a start time of the start of irradiation of X-rays until acquisition time after a predetermined time according to the dose signal. According to the cumulative dose, a predicted time point of a reach of the cumulative dose to a target dose is estimated. A stop signal is transmitted to a radiation source controller at the predicted time point, to stop the irradiation of X-rays.

  • Patent number: 10022103
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes an X-ray generator, processing circuitry, and a display unit. The X-ray generator radiates an X-ray. The processing circuitry obtains an exposure dose of a subject due to the X-ray radiated from the X-ray generator and generates an image in which a dose distribution based on the exposure dose is superimposed on a three-dimensional model representing the subject. The display unit displays the image. The processing circuitry generates an image in which the dose distribution on a body surface on a rear side when observed in a first view direction, serving as a direction in which the three-dimensional model is displayed, is visible.

  • Patent number: 10022105
Abstract: A radiographic imaging apparatus includes an electronic cassette and a console device for radio communication with the electronic cassette. The electronic cassette includes a transmitter for transmitting a beacon for the radio communication. A regulation unit regulates beaconing of the beacon in a predetermined specific state among plural operational states. The console device includes a receiver for receiving the beacon. A communication failure detector checks whether a communication failure has occurred in the radio communication according to a receiving state of the beacon in the receiver. A display panel or speaker generates alert notification to notify the communication failure assuming that the communication failure detector judges that the communication failure has occurred. An operational state detector checks whether the electronic cassette is in the specific state.

  • Patent number: 10022136
Abstract: A device for guiding a drilling of a femoral head of a femur in femoral head resurfacing comprises a body defining a guide channel adapted to receive and guide a drilling component therein. Arms are pivotally connected to the body and biased toward one another, the arms each having a contact end extending below the body, the contact ends adapted to contact a femoral neck when the body is in a hovering position relative to the femoral head. Sensors produce a signal indicative of an orientation angle of each of the arms relative to the body. A processor unit calculates the orientation angles of the arms from the signal, and evaluates from the orientation angles an alignment of the body relative to the femur. A visual output produces a visual signal representative of said alignment. A method for aligning a drill guide device on a femur for subsequent drilling a femoral head with a guide channel in the drill guide device is also provided.
