Abstract: Devices and methods for displaying beauty and other visual products are disclosed. A display system can comprise a frame and a sample portion. Traits such as color and texture of a beauty product can be displayed on the sample portion, and the frame portion can interface with product shelving to align samples with relevant products in the display. The sample portion can be releasably attached to the frame to be removed by a user and be placed above a body part of the user to which a beauty product may be applied, or a body part can be placed in proximity to the sample portion even while it is attached to the frame. The user can advantageously view the beauty product as applied to the body part without applying the beauty product. The system is useful for fingernail polish display, for example.

Abstract: A hair vacuum system including a hair suction assembly having a container having a hair-intake-opening, a housing with an inner volume for storing hair, a hair-removal-opening, and at least one vent, a suction unit for vacuum suctioning excess hair during hair styling, a sensor for sensing hand movement to activate the suction unit, and a power source. Hair vacuum system provides salons and hair stylists with a vacuum device that eliminates excess wet, dry, cut, and/or dead strands of hair from the front and back of a hand of a stylist, eliminating the need to stop working on a client's hair in order to remove tangles around the hand and fingers of the stylist.

Abstract: A swivel-lock quick release is described. Embodiments of the swivel-lock quick release can include, but is not limited to, a male member adapted to mate with a female member wherein the male member can be disengaged by lifting and then rotating the male member while continuously lifting the male member. The male member can include a slot adapted to interface with a protrusion from the female member. The male member and the female member can each include an attachment mechanism to couple to various objects and/or tools.

Abstract: A combination hairstyling product includes a glove, a brush element, and at least one styling element. The glove has separate thumb and forefinger portions and a combined portion for receiving the middle, ring, and pinky fingers. The brush element has a base and a plurality of bristles extending therefrom, disposed on at least a palm side of the glove and occupying a substantial portion of the area corresponding to the combined portion and the palm. The at least one styling element is disposed on either the forefinger portion or the thumb portion of the glove in order to cooperate with the brush portion or be used separately in a styling technique carried out using the product.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of making a cosmetic brush head, having anti-aging ingredients infused therein. The method includes the steps of mixing anti-aging ingredients and synthetic grain, melting the mixture, extruding the mixture to form threads, stretching the threads to a desired thickness, shaping the threads, collecting the threads into a bundle, cutting the bundle, hanging the bundle, combing the bundle, wrapping the bundle, cutting the bundle into shorter bundles, soaking the bundles in a solution to form tapered tips on the threads, soaking the bundles in an anti-aging solution, unbundling the short bundles and randomizing the threads, sorting the threads, and recollecting and wrapping the threads into a brush size bundle. The method may further include shaping the brush size bundle to a desired brush shape and securing the bundle to form a cosmetic brush head.

More than one shelf can be independently rotated about the center pole from a stowed position to a rotated position. Abstract: An adjustable seating solution that enables users to adjust several seating characteristics is disclosed. In a relatively low sitting position, the disclosed device provides some support if the user leans back, but predominately supports the user's weight and requires the user to engage core muscles to maintain good posture. The disclosed apparatus enables the user to adjust the seat upward to a leaning position. A platform extends forward under the user's feet to ensure that when the user leans against the seat, the apparatus remains stable. The apparatus enables the seat portion to be tilted, such that varying contours can be selected to engage the user's body in a desired way. At low heights, the user can tilt the seat portion forward to require the user to further engage core muscles while seated. At higher heights, the user can customize the contour of the seat that engages the user's body.

A skirt is sewn along the back rest wrapping fabric, the arm rest wrapping fabric and the front of the seat fabric. This skirt goes all the way around the sofa to cover the support legs. The lower edge of the skirt is pegged to the front legs and the rear legs on both sides to form a stretched structure.

An automatically adjusting comfort system includes a pressure-sensor array communicatively coupled to a controller for determining a cumulative pressure profile over time, and a plurality of adjusting mechanisms configured to alter the pressure profile to increase a user's comfort, wherein the controller automatically adjusts one or more of the plurality of adjusting mechanisms based on the cumulative pressure profile.

Abstract: A baby carrier is provided which has a front portion (101), a stomach portion, two shoulder straps (103a, 103b), each having a first and a second end portion, and a waist strap (102). The first end portion of each shoulder strap (103a, 103b) is fixedly attached to the stomach portion and the second end portion is attached to the front portion (101). The front portion (101) and stomach portion are attached to the waist strap (102) in such a way that the stomach portion and front portion are at least partly detachable from the waist strap (102). This provides the baby carrier with support means for a child's legs when sitting in a forward position.

Abstract: A mattress for supporting a head and body of a patient is disclosed. The mattress includes an integrated deformable head support that can be molded into a desired shape to support the head of the infant. The deformable head support retains the desired shape after molding. The head support is received upon and extends above a top surface of a base layer of the mattress. The base layer and head support are formed from different materials where the material used to form the head support can be deformed and retains the desired shape. The head support has a U-shape or semi-ring shape to surround the top and sides of the head of an infant patient when the infant patient is positioned on the mattress. A cover layer is positioned over both the base layer and the head support.

Abstract: An example adjustable product display apparatus is provided that includes a body configured to be mounted to a shelf. The body includes a proximal end, a distal end, a bottom surface extending between the proximal end and the distal end, and a top surface extending between the proximal end and the distal end at an angle relative to the bottom surface. A distance between the bottom surface and the top surface increases from the proximal end to the distal and the distance at the distal end of the body defining a rear height of the body. The adjustable product display apparatus includes an expandable support disposed at the distal end of the body. Adjustment of the expandable support varies a height of the expandable support and simultaneously adjusts the rear height of the body.

Abstract: A device for aiding in taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user. The opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar. The device includes a container with an opening for receiving the glove and hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar such that the container and glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container has a bellow to change the volume and pressure within the container. A vent in the container is opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. A method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device is also provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are related to a parcel bin for a parcel receiving apparatus that includes a receiving plate, a rotatable delivery plate, and a pair of parcel bin sides. The parcel bin sides include a pair of receiving plate sides and a pair of delivery plate sides. The pair of delivery plate sides are structured to be collapsible toward the delivery plate. The pair of receiving plate sides are fixedly attached to the receiving plate and structured to be non-rotatable. The rotatable delivery plate is structured to be collapsible toward the receiving plate.
