Abstract: ‘Grand Mosaic’ is a new and distinct variety of albino coast redwood tree characterized by a non-grafted periclinal chimera exhibiting stable albino growth from inside the apical meristem dome. The new variety contains latent axillary and/or accessory buds forming within the internode of primary branches exhibiting phenotypic color expressions ranging from green, albino, chimera or non-chimeric variegation. Latent axillary and/or accessory buds frequently form in the branch collar zone of primary branches and can produce color expressions ranging from green, albino, chimera or non-chimeric variegation. Further, the branches demonstrate horizontal to drooping-like habit and moderate-to-fast growth depending on the amount of albinism compared to other common green redwoods.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Cestrum plant named ‘Gold Night’, characterized by its medium yellow-colored flowers, dark green-colored foliage, and moderately vigorous, upright and outwardly spreading growth habit, is disclosed.
Abstract: A new variety of Passiflora named ‘Snow Queen’ that is characterized by large entirely white flowers consisting of white petals, white sepals and white corona filaments. The petals and sepals of ‘Snow Queen’ are thick and waxy. ‘Snow Queen’ is highly floriferous, hardy in USDA zone 8b, vigorous and bears strong dark green leathery foliage.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Bougainvillea plant cultivar named ‘Vista4’ is disclosed, characterized by foliage variegated dark green and yellow-green. Plants are compact and very floriferous. The new variety is a Bougainvillea, typically produced as an ornamental plant.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Celosia plant named ‘BKCELAPP’, characterized by its broadly upright plant habit; moderately freely branching habit; freely flowering habit; red purple-colored flowers arranged on conical compound spikes; and good interiorscape and garden performance.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Celosia plant named ‘BKCELAV’, characterized by its broadly upright plant habit; moderately freely branching habit; freely flowering habit; bright red purple-colored flowers arranged on narrow conical compound spikes; and good interiorscape and garden performance.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Armeria plant named ‘Sweet Dreams’, characterized by its light purple-colored flowers, dark green-colored foliage, and moderately vigorous, compact-mounded growth habit, is disclosed.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Dianthus plant named ‘DCAPE04-0’ is disclosed, characterized by continuous flowering on floriferous plants hardy to USDA Zone 3. Flowers are semi-double and light to medium red-purple and purple. The new variety is a Dianthus, typically produced as a garden or container plant.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Phalaenopsis plant named ‘PHALFMACON’, particularly characterized by having large white flowers, 1 to 2 peduncles that are long and sturdy, leaves that are oblong, and is propagated by meristem tissue culture, is disclosed.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Phalaenopsis plant named ‘PHALFEQBIN’, particularly characterized by having small, white flowers with dark purple spots, 1 to 3 peduncles that are medium long and sturdy, leaves that are narrow oblong, and is propagated by meristem tissue culture, is disclosed.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Begonia plant named ‘Fibegosora’, characterized by its upright to spreading and mounded plant habit; relatively compact; freely basal branching habit; dark purple-colored leaves; freely and continuously flowering habit; and double flowers that are bright orange in color.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Begonia plant named ‘Fibegdraeven’, characterized by its upright to spreading and mounded plant habit; relatively compact; freely basal branching habit; dark green-colored leaves; freely and continuously flowering habit; and double flowers that are light red in color.
Abstract: ‘Muru’ is a distinctive cultivar of Lomandra longifolia which is characterized by variegated foliage comprised of green striations, white striations and broad white margins. The new variety propagates successfully by division and tissue culture and has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation.
Abstract: A new and distinct Sansevieria plant named ‘SUPSAN1603’ which is characterized by the combination of a compact equitant growth habit, a broad obovate plant form with a very slightly spiraling aspect, broad succulent foliage which is terete and axially grooved, decurrent leaf bases with prominent light yellow-green margins, dark green foliage with light greyed-green radial bands, and the stability of all characteristics from generation to generation.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Bergenia omeiensis named ‘Merry Bells’ that is characterized by compact, low-growing plant habit, small rounded glossy green leaves which lie almost horizontal and clusters of white and soft pink bell-shaped flowers held on orange-red stems. The flowers of ‘Merry Bells’ emerge outward-facing and then gently recurve to expose orange-red calyces. In combination these traits set ‘Merry Bells’ apart from all other varieties of Bergenia known to the inventor.
Abstract: A new and distinct Scabiosa cultivar named ‘DCANDYSCOP’ is disclosed, characterized by clear pink flowers, long peduncles and many flowering stems per plant. The new variety is a Scabiosa, suitable for cut flower production and outdoor garden or container uses.
Abstract: A new and distinct Scabiosa cultivar named ‘DVANILSCOP’ is disclosed, characterized by clear white flowers, long peduncles and strong flower necks. The new variety is a Scabiosa, suitable for cut flower production or as an outdoor garden or container plant.
Abstract: A liquid sample bulk mailing packaging device includes a paperboard envelope blank assembled to form a hermetically sealed leakproof containment pocket such that a moisture resistant coating on at least one of the paperboard surfaces will prevent leakage in the event an enclosed liquid containing packette fails during mail processing, while if uncoated the other paperboard surface will absorb the moisture from the packette. The device meets the US Postal Service requirements for machinable and automation letters.
Abstract: An optical material organic compound having characteristics that the dispersion characteristic (Abbe number (?d)) and the secondary dispersion characteristic (?g,F) of the refractive index are high, the transmittance in the visible light region is high, and the chromatic aberration correction function delivers high performance, which represented by the general formula (1) or (2) is provided.
