Abstract: Theater seating systems, theater lounge seats, theater seats, and theater seating arrangements are described herein. An example embodiment of a theater seating system comprises a separating panel and a theater seat. The separating panel has a first end, a second end, a first section, a second section, a third section, and a fourth section. The first section, the second section, the third section, and the fourth section cooperatively define a chamber within which the theater seat is disposed. The first end is separated from the second end to define an opening that provides access to the chamber defined by the separating panel.

Abstract: A tension-compression base structure including tension elements (such as flexible cables or ropes) and compression elements (such as rigid legs) is provided with a slidably adjustable path for the tension elements around or within the compression elements, thereby enabling a degree of adaptability to support surfaces that may not be ideally flat, such as on outdoor terrain. Such a tension-compression base may be used to support a platform, a stool, or an item of equipment that may be desirably held in a preferred orientation irrespective of terrain irregularities, and as furniture may be configured to rock with a user's body as a form of active seating.

Abstract: Disclosed are support assemblies and foldable bed frames. A foldable bed frame includes first and second frames, each having left and right frame bars. A foldable bed frame also includes a support assembly having first and second link units. The first link unit is slidably and rotatably coupled with proximal end portions of the left and right frame bars of the first frame, and the second link unit is slidably and rotatably coupled with proximal end portions of the left and right frame bars of the second frame. The first and second link units are fixedly coupled with each other with a space in between. When folded, the proximal end portions of the left and right frame bars of the first and second frames are disposed in the space between the first and second links, minimizing a length of the foldable bed frame when folded.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for adjusting the firmness of a spring mattress are described herein. Inflation elements having fingers may be coupled with a spring layer of a mattress to provide for inflating or deflating the fingers in the interstitial spaces defined by a group of springs of the mattress. Increasing the fluid pressure inside the fingers increases the lateral pressure on the springs. The increase in lateral pressure in turn increases the force required to compress the springs, ultimately resulting in increasing the firmness of the mattress. Conversely, decreasing the fluid pressure inside the fingers decreases the lateral pressure on the springs, which decreases the firmness of the mattress.

Abstract: An air bag module of inflatable mattress is disclosed. The inflatable mattress is provided with a lining for the air bag module to be placed therein, and a resilience supplying module being placed in the lining and resting on the air bag module. The air bag module includes at least one air bag unit. The air bag unit is provided with an air distribution layer and a hardness adjustment layer connected with the air distribution layer while located between the air distribution layer and the resilience supplying module. In the air distribution layer, air is inputted into each distributing air bag equally via intercommunication of distributing air bags, such that air from the distributing air bags is consistently received by each supporting air bag of the hardness adjustment layer. Thus, the problem of uneven surface of bed due to non-uniform inflation in the conventional structure is solved.

Abstract: A mattress with adjustable hardness comprises at least one resilience supplying module, at least one air bag module and a lining provided for the resilience supplying module and the air bag module to be placed therein. The lining is provided with a plurality of lattice-like units, each lattice-like unit defining a mounting space therein. The resilience supplying module is provided with a plurality of elastic bodies respectively provided in one of the mounting spaces. The air bag module is provided with a plurality of air bag units respectively provided in one of the mounting spaces. In this case, the air bag units may be inflated consistently, and the expanded volume of each of the air bag units after inflation may be limited to be uniform by the corresponding lattice-like unit. Thus, the problem of incapability of being kept evenness after inflation in the conventional practice is solved.
