Abstract: A height adjusting mechanism for a dentistry stool comprises a support member, a movable height adjusting assembly and a pushbutton actuator. The support member is coupleable to the stool adjacent a seat of the stool. The movable height adjusting assembly is selectively movable up and down relative to the support member. The pushbutton actuator is positionable on a side of the movable height adjusting assembly adjacent a seated user, and is manually actuatable by the seated user to release the movable height adjusting assembly from a locked position at a current height to allow the movable height adjusting assembly to be moved to a new height. The height adjusting mechanism can be implemented to provide a height-adjustable seat back and/or a height-adjustable torso bar.

The device includes elastic means for returning the backrest and/or countering the rotation thereof, in addition to means for controlling the preload of the elastic means. Adjusting means to adjust the position of the first crank determine at least two distinct stable positions of the first crank corresponding to two distinct positions of the mentioned point of application of the returning and/or countering force with respect to the base frame.

A pair of rests is rotatably coupled to opposing sides of the back of the chair. The rests are positioned between a top and a bottom of the back. Each rest is positioned on a respective opposing side of the back such that the rest is configured to be rotated to a position transverse to the respective opposing side. The rest is configured to support an arm of a user positioned in the chair with the back in a reclined position.

A zipper, when closed, holds together a part of the first edge and a corresponding part of the second edge. A first seam joins remaining parts of the first and second edges and a second seam is formed along a bottom edge of the material to form a pocket for protecting an infant. Loops are attached to an inner surface of the material, between the edges and folds, and are capable of securing the multipurpose infant travel blanket to an infant travel device. One or more cinch mechanisms formed on the outer surface of the material may be used to resize the pocket.

A shower curtain with at least a portion of the surface being non-smooth is disclosed. In some embodiments, appendages extend outwardly from the surface of the curtain. The appendages prevent the surface of the curtain from adhering to another surface via surface tension of water. Furthermore, the appendages create an air gap that enables air to flow freely between the curtain and its adjacent surface. The appendages also reduce the surface area of the curtain in contact with the adjacent surface.

The toilet seat and lid lifter comprises a cover, a lifting mechanism, and a flush mechanism. The lifting mechanism is a pedal operated mechanical apparatus that allows the toilet seat and the toilet lid to be lifted without the use of the hands. The lifting mechanism will lower the toilet seat and the toilet lid to their original positions after use. The flush mechanism is a pedal operated mechanical apparatus that: 1) attaches to the flush handle of the toilet; and, 2) operates the flush handle without the use of the hands.

Abstract: The present invention is a device for storing an unused toilet plunger and providing easy access when plunger is need. The plunger holder is mold and mildew resistant and machine washable. It consists of a waterproof mat with a vertically raised edge around its surface edge to prevent soiled plunger water from dripping off of the mat and onto the floor or surface. The mat can be of a solid color or clear, showing the floor color through. It can also have a design which is bound between two layers of rubber, a base layer and a clear top layer. The holder is small and can conveniently fit beside and to the rear of the toilet where most plungers are already kept.
