Abstract: A system for processing ECG to detect atrial fibrillation includes three software modules. A beat module is executable on a processor to receive a time series of ECG data, identify heart beats, and determine a beat AFIB value based on a timing of each identified heart beat. The beat AFIB value represents a presence or absence of AFIB based on variability in the timing of each identified heart beat. A segment module is executable to receive the time series of ECG data, divide the time series of ECG data into two or more time segments, and determine a segment AFIB value for each time segment. The segment AFIB value indicates a presence or absence of AFIB in the time segment based on whether any of a set of rhythms are identified. The AFIB detection module is executable to determine an AFIB identification value for each time segment based on the beat AFIB value during that time segment and the segment AFIB value for that time segment.

A pulse of the person is obtained based on a luminance change of a skin of the person in the moving image. An attribute of the person in the moving image is recognized. The pulse of the person is corrected so as to eliminate a difference in pulse depending on the attribute. A statistical processing value of the pulse of the crowd is obtained by statistically processing the corrected pulse of the person. A numerical index corresponding to the statistical processing value of the pulse of the crowd is outputted as a degree-of-interest.

Abstract: The disclosure provides for easy, reliable, and rapid screening of a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) based on a modeling of a subject's tracking of a dynamic target during the course of a simple motor tracking task. The gathered tracking data can be used to calculate tracking errors between the subject's actual input (e.g., grip force) and the intended target input. The tracking errors may be used to generate numerical values for model parameters that correlate the subject's responses to the tracking errors during the course of the dynamic motor tracking task. A classification model may be used to compare the model values to multi-subject model values of known diagnoses for mTBI. The entire screening process can be effectively administered in a matter of minutes or less, and with a high degree of accuracy.
