Abstract: An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly, an atomizer assembly and a cigarette bottle assembly. An external thread electrode is located in one end of battery assembly. An internal thread electrode is located in one end of atomizer assembly. The battery assembly and the atomizer assembly are connected by the screwthread electrode. The cigarette bottle assembly is inserted into the other end of the atomizer assembly and both form a cigarette type or cigar type body.

Abstract: An electric garment includes an article of clothing, a first electrical device attached to the article of clothing, and a retractable connector assembly. The retractable connector assembly includes an electric cord electrically connected to the first electrical device, a first connector, and a retractable unit that includes an elastic member connected to the electric cord. The first connector is movable relative to the article of clothing between a concealed position and an exposed position. When the first connector is moved from the concealed position to the exposed position, the elastic member is deformed for generating a restoring force to move the first connector back to the concealed position.

Abstract: A trouser garment is disclosed. The trouser garment may be a fishing wader. The garment includes a quick-release dropseat to enhance the ease of personal relief, such as a WC break, without completely removing the garment. The garment may include a trouser portion, a bib portion, and a suspension system. A posterior support strap is threaded through a guide, such as a loop, to aid in the mating two ends of a quick-release dropseat buckle. The posterior support strap is coupled to left and right shoulder straps to form the suspension system. The guide and one end of the dropseat buckle are positioned on a posterior surface of the garment. The garment may include cam buckles to enable the adjustment of the left and right shoulder straps and the height of the bib portion. The garment may be worn as a full bib or as a pant.

Abstract: A knitted glove includes a knitted fabric including, multiple stages of a first course each of which has a plurality of first loops and a first cross element to connect the first loops to each other and in which the plurality of first loops are aligned in the course direction; and multiple stages of a second course each of which has a plurality of second loops and in which the plurality of second loops are aligned in the course direction, the first knitting yarn constituting the first course has an elongation rate of 12.5% or more, a second knitting yarn includes a yarn containing a cut resistant fiber, between at least one set of two adjacent first loops in one stage of the first course, a loop in another stage of the courses is arranged, and the first cross element is knitted so as to cross over the loop.

The pocket is affixed to the clothing and has a narrow vertical segment the length of the eyeglass temple, and a pair of different angles which begin a bottom segment. The bottom segment has an end, an upper edge; and a bottom edge. The vertical segment has a top edge, not stitched to said article of clothing, and an endward vertical edge. The endward vertical edge makes an endward right angle to the top edge. The vertical segment has a distal vertical edge, distal from the endward vertical edge. The distal vertical edge makes a distal right angle to the top edge. The endward vertical edge; and the distal vertical edge are stitched to the clothing. The bottom segment widens from the pair of different angles to the end, at which end the bottom segment is wider than the narrow vertical segment width. The end, upper edge, and bottom edge are all stitched to the clothing.

Abstract: An apparatus for properly displaying ribbons, name tags, insignias, and badges on a garment; wherein predetermined arrangements of awards can be quickly and reliably established using a plurality of labeled holes, slots and measurements in a template. Military, police, firefighters, and other civil uniformed organizations use name tags, ribbons, awards, and insignias on their shirt, blouse, jackets, and head cover to display name, rank, and awards. This invention introduces an easy to use way to properly apply name tags, ribbons, awards, badges, pins, and insignias at predetermined positions in the template for military and civil uniformed services. This template will make it easier and quicker to accurately apply the said items to uniform garments with the use of predetermined holes, slots, and etched markings.

Abstract: A lighted artificial tree that includes a first tree section including a trunk, wiring assembly and trunk electrical connector; a second tree section including a trunk, wiring assembly and trunk electrical connector; a distributed light power and control system, including: a primary controller and a plurality of sub-controllers, each of the plurality of sub-controllers in electrical communication with the primary controller; and a plurality of lighting elements, each of the plurality of lighting elements in direct electrical communication with one of the plurality of sub-controllers. The trunk electrical connector of the first tree section couples to the second trunk electrical connector such that power is conducted from the first tree section to the second tree section, and the primary controller controls each of the plurality of sub-controllers, and each of the plurality of sub-controllers selectively powers each of the plurality of lighting elements to create a lighting effect.

Abstract: A head restraint system having a rate sensitive device to connect a head restraint to a body of a user. The head restraint system includes a first connector to connect to the head of a user, a second connector connected to the first connector and to a body of the user, wherein one of the first connector and the second connector includes a rate sensitive (RS) device, wherein the first connector and the second connector are configured to restrain the user's head to the user's body at high speed motion of the user's head relative to the user's body and otherwise not restrain the user's head.

Abstract: A device, system, and elements for providing customizable and regionalized head protection are disclosed. One or more protective elements and/or cushioning elements can be permanently or removably attached to a wearable shell, to provide an increased level of protection for a wearer. The size, shape, and composition of the one or more protective elements and/or cushioning elements can be varied to alter the level and location of protection provided by the head protection device. One or more accessories also can be included in the head protection device, such as light sources and reflectors to enhance the visibility of the head protection device and to provide illumination.

Abstract: Presented are intelligent electronic footwear with controller automated features, methods for making/using such footwear, and control systems for executing automated features of intelligent electronic footwear. An intelligent electronic shoe (IES) includes an upper that attaches to a user's foot, and a sole structure that is attached to the upper and supports thereon the user's foot. An alert system, which is mounted to the sole structure and/or upper, generates predetermined outputs in response to electronic command signals. The IES system also includes a wireless communications device that wirelessly communicates with a remote computing node, and a footwear controller that communicates with the wireless communications device and alert system.

Abstract: A sole for an article of footwear includes: an upper sole portion; and a pod assembly having a plurality of pods fluidly connected in series disposed below the upper sole portion, wherein the pod assembly extends from a lateral heel portion of the sole to a medial forefoot portion of the sole such that the plurality of pods compress substantially in sequence through a gait cycle of a wearer.

Abstract: A variety of devices for protecting a user's foot from injury are disclosed. In one embodiment, the device may be a metatarsal protection device, which may include a first layer of material having top and bottom surfaces, with at least one of such surfaces including a series of cones or a pattern of hexagons thereon. The metatarsal protection device may also include a second relatively rigid layer of material overlying the first layer, and the first layer may be shaped to conform to the metatarsal region of the user's foot, such that the device is configured to protect the metatarsal region against injury. Other configurations and variations of a metatarsal protection device are also disclosed, as are other uses for the principles of the invention(s) disclosed herein (e.g., protection devices for other areas of the foot, etc.).

The top member and sole to together define a space for receiving a foot, and the top member further comprises an opening. A fastener is provided in the top member and extends from the opening and continues over the top member such that a portion of the top member is movable between a first position in which the space is substantially closed and a second position in which a portion of the top member is folded back from the sole to provide access to the space.

Abstract: A tangless buckle system for straps for watches, fitness monitors, and other limb-worn devices. In such tangless buckle systems, a buckle with a tooth is provided. In contrast to a traditional buckle, the tooth and the buckle are fixed with respect to one another, i.e., the tooth does not rotate relative to the buckle. As this new buckle design does not include the rotating tang that extends all the way across the buckle loop in a traditional buckle design, the new design may be referred to as a “tangless” buckle. Such buckles may provide a simpler, yet highly secure, mechanism for securing such devices.

The ring holder includes a connection tube with a ring hole transversely cut through one end thereof for securing the first ring, a movable block axially movably mounted in the connection tube with a round hole thereof for axial alignment with the ring hole, a locating block mounted in the connection tube, a first elastic member stopped between the movable block and the locating block, a movable cylinder coupled to the connection tube, steel balls rotatably mounted in ball holes around the movable cylinder and rotatably positioned in an inner annular groove in the connection tube, a connection rod mounted in the movable cylinder and stopped against the locating block, a connector coupled to the movable cylinder for securing the second ring and a second elastic member supported between the connection rod and the connector.

The metallic fastener member includes, as a base material, a copper alloy containing zinc, and the metallic fastener member has a surface to which a rust prevention treatment has been applied and has such a property that, when analyzed by a scanning X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy apparatus, a maximum value of an atomic concentration of Mn is detected at a depth of 100 nm or less from the surface.

Abstract: There is provided a slider for a slide fastener. The slider includes a body, a pull tab, a shaft member, and a coil spring. The pull tab has a base portion, a gripper and a claw portion protruding from the base portion. The shaft member is configured to rotatably support the pull tab relative to the body. The coil spring is attached around the shaft member to urge the gripper to be laid down toward the body. A claw guide portion allows a tip end of the claw portion to protrude into the guide groove. A restricting portion of the body restricts rotation of the pull tab when the pull tab is raised by a predetermined angle from the body. A restricted portion of the pull tab comes in contact with the restricting portion when the pull tab is raised by the predetermined angle from the body.

Abstract: A jewelry clasp is provided that operably locks in both an open and closed state to facilitate donning of an article of jewelry and for securing the jewelry to the wearer after being donned. The clasp comprises a clasp body having a first end with a hook portion and a clearance slot. Within the clasp body is a slidable clasp member that slides within the clasp body and operably blocks and opens the clearance slot of the hook portion. Within the clasp body is a first detent and a second detent that are aligned with the slide direction of the slidable member. The slidable member includes a protrusion that operably engages the first detent and second detent. The first detent locks the clasp in an open position. The second detent locks the clasp in a closed position. Embodiments of the detents and the protrusion are provided herein.

Abstract: A card holder for storing a plurality of transaction cards in a stacked alignment inside a case with a lever arm that when lifted, forces the lateral edges of the cards outward in a fan-like manner through a side opening formed on the case. The case includes a close cavity with a lower frame configured to hold a stack of transaction cards. The lower frame includes a flexible arm used to support the cards. The lever arm includes a push arm that extends into the case and positioned adjacent to the inside edges of the cards. When the lever arm is lifted, the push arm travels in an arc inside the case. Formed on the push arm are a plurality of sequentially offset steps configured to individually press against the adjacent edges of the cards causing the cards to rotate and extend in a fan-like manner through the side opening.

Abstract: Travel pillows with anchor mechanisms are disclosed. The travel pillows can including anchor mechanisms with anchor mechanism bodies such as straps. The anchor mechanism bodies can be attached to the travel pillow body, such as to the rear of the travel pillow body, or alternatively can be detachable from the travel pillow body. The anchor mechanisms can also include loops through which the anchor mechanism bodies can pass before reattaching to themselves or attaching to another element such as a cover of the travel pillow body. The anchor mechanism bodies can be placed around a portion of a headrest, such as headrest wings, to prevent or make less likely a user's head and/or body falling forward inadvertently.

Abstract: Embodiments of an apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus includes a changing mat, a mat-native restraint system, and a pass-through structure. The mat-native restraint system is coupled to the changing mat at a location on the changing mat to receive and secure a user on the changing mat. The pass-through structure is disposed in the changing mat to accommodate pass-through, at the changing mat, of at least a portion of a mat-foreign restraint system to secure the changing mat to a changing surface and to further secure the user on the changing mat.

Abstract: In a refrigerated display case having an interior volume that is accessed through a door panel being opened from a doorframe, a frame cover is included that may reduce condensation or the power required to avoid condensation on a door panel. The frame cover is formed of a non-metallic material that provides a thermal break. The frame cover may also be formed with air pockets to further enhance the thermal break. Moreover, it may be formed to attach with an interference fit and thereby avoid fasteners. Other embodiments and features are presented.

Abstract: A refrigerated merchandiser includes a sensor coupled to a case adjacent an air inlet. The sensor is in communication with a portion of a refrigerated airflow passing through the air inlet to sense a temperature of the airflow and to generate a signal indicative of an air return temperature. The merchandiser also includes a controller in communication with the sensor to receive the signal indicative of the air return temperature, the controller further in communication with a conductive film on a door and programmed to initiate a clearing interval to clear condensation from the door in response to the signal indicative of the air return temperature reaching a first predetermined temperature threshold.

Abstract: An adjustably-sized and shaped picture frame formed of corner pieces around which are looped or woven one or more filaments such as colored yarns to form the frame borders. The frames created can be customized to various shapes and sizes. The corner pieces may be molded or molded and machined, and may have a diamond shape with inner side edges that align with outer corners of a sheet of artwork. The filament is woven around posts on both a front face and an outer corner of the corner pieces. A chamfer under a lower face of each corner piece may be used to secure free ends of the filament.

A field is coupled to and extends between an inner perimeter of the frame. A plurality of tines and a handle are coupled to and extend from an outer perimeter of the frame. The handle is positioned on the frame such that the handle is configured to be grasped in a hand of a user. The pair of grabbers is configured to position singly adjacent to a top face and a bottom face of a pillow. The handles are positioned on the frames such that the handles are positioned to motivate the frames into a substantially closed configuration. The pillow is compressed between the pair of grabbers such that respective tines are interlockingly positioned. The pillow is insertable into and extractable from a pillowcase.

Abstract: In one example, a water pitcher is provide that includes a candle defining a receptacle with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet and configured to removably receive a filter cartridge. The holder may be configured for holding an inductive charger for a smart watch, so that when inserted into the holder, the charger is held adjacent to a rear surface the smart watch. The organizer may include a night light oriented to radiate light towards the home location, controlled by a sensor for detecting motion or touch.
