The hydrophobin mimics of the present invention self-assemble to form protein nanoparticles/nanocontainer either alone or in a specified chemical environment. The hydrophobin mimics (I) of the present invention find application in area of bio-nanotechnology.

Abstract: Smoking articles which involve the use of amphiphile-modified sorbents are disclosed. The amphiphile-modified sorbent has at least one amphiphilic compound bound to an inorganic molecular sieve substrate. The amphiphile-modified sorbent selectively removes certain constituents from cigarette smoke, while maintaining other constituents, such as those that contribute to flavor. Methods for making cigarette filters and smoking articles using amphiphile-modified sorbents, as well as methods for smoking a cigarette containing an amphiphile-modified sorbent, are also provided.

The swaddle is used by placing one of the blanket flaps over the pouch, and then placing the other blanket flap over the pouch.

Abstract: A bra incorporates shape memory alloy, either in shape memory or super-elastic states, an accelerometer, a power source, a microprocessor, and an algorithm implemented by the microprocessor to learn and adapt to the displacement pattern of the wearer's breast during a physical activity. The shape memory alloy is in the form of SMA or super-elastic wires integrated into portions of the bra, whereby activating the wire(s) shortens the corresponding wire to produce a compressive force on the breast within the bra. The system thereby provides real-time, active suspension to control breast displacement or bounce. The system provides real-time feedback to a memory or super-elastic material integrated into the bra to provide adaptive force and displacement to counteract the push-off and landing forces at each footfall of the moving wearer affecting breast displacement.

The user, typically after a surgical procedure involving post-operative drains as part of recovery, wears the garment and inserts the reservoir of a post-operative drain into one of the post-operative drain compartments. The garment supports at least six post-operative drain compartments. At least one of the post-operative drain compartments is disposed above at least two others of the post-operative drain compartments. In one example, each of the openings post-operative drain compartments remains open and does not include any fastening mechanism.

The enhanced airflow provided by the garments in accordance with aspects hereof also results in enhanced moisture evaporation from the wearer's skin, which also aids in the cooling of the wearer's body.

The headgear has a first extending portion configured to extend under a chin, a second extending portion configured for extending about a forward portion of a head, and a third extending portion configured for extending about a reward portion of the head. In some implementations, the lighting system may comprise a mounting plate, a cover, a battery, and a printed circuit board (PCB). In some implementations, the PCB may comprise a logic board, one light emitting diode (LED), a capacitor, and/or a switch. Together, the mounting plate and cover form a housing that encases the battery and the PCB. In some implementations, the bottom side of the mounting plate may be contoured for attachment to the curved exterior surface of a protective headwear.
