Abstract: The double action cleaning tool of the present invention includes a dynamic double action dual brush head and a handle. The dynamic double action dual brush head includes two brush heads rotatably attached to a brush head base, allowing the brush heads to independently rotate about the axis in which it is rotatably attached to the brush head base. A mechanical device capable of storing and releasing energy is connected between the two brush heads, which is rigidly attached to the brush head base. The double action cleaning tool stores energy in the form of potential energy in the mechanical energy storage device of the dynamic double action dual brush head during the sweeping stroke of the double action push broom. At the end of the sweeping stroke, the stored potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and rotates the dual brush, thereby providing an additional sweeping motion.

Abstract: Mattresses and mattress toppers having an upper layer including a high heat capacity material are disclosed. The mattress is configured to reduce a core body temperature of the body supported thereon, and thus induce improved sleep, measurable as an increase in the time spent in slow wave sleep relative to standard mattresses having lower heat capacities. The high heat capacity of the mattress may be attributable to the geometry and nature of the support material and optional additives, including polymer gels and phase change materials. Methods for improving sleep quality and uses of the high heat capacity mattresses to improve sleep quality are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and a method for adjusting a bed are disclosed. The bed is preset with a plurality of sets of adjustment parameters. An external muscle strength/pressure detection device or method is used to select at least two sets of the adjustment parameters suitable for the user. Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for a controlled atmosphere display case for prolonged storage of plant-based contents within the case. The controlled atmosphere display case includes a rigid housing having an interior cavity. An inert gas supply provides an inert gas to the interior cavity. The inert gas may be nitrogen, or a combination of inert gases that includes nitrogen. An inlet valve conveys the inert gas into the interior cavity. A vacuum pump and the inert gas supply cooperate to create a nitrogen flush that replaces oxygen-rich air within the interior cavity with nitrogen gas. A pressure gauge actuator regulates the concentration of nitrogen gas within the interior cavity. A refrigeration unit controls temperature and moisture within the interior cavity. The nitrogen flush advantageously extends the shelf life of plant-based produce that may be stored within the interior cavity.
