  • Patent number: 10220744
Abstract: A seatback release system comprising a seat backrest frame with an attached mounting bracket. Secured to the mounting bracket is a handle which pivots about a pivot point. The handle and the mounting bracket cooperate so that the release system can be deployed on a front left or right seat by attaching the handle to one or the other end of the mounting bracket. One or more spring members extend between the mounting bracket and the handle so that the handle is thereby biased to an initial downward position in which the seat backrest frame is locked. A cable mechanism with a proximal end and a distal end extends between the handle and a seatback release subassembly. The core of the cable moves axially within the outer sheath in response to displacement of the handle, thereby releasing the seatback release subassembly.

  • Patent number: 10220783
Abstract: A vehicle-mounted stereo camera device that achieves high-precision distance detection is provided, including a left camera and a right camera disposed to cause visual fields to overlap each other, a first enclosure and a second enclosure that enclose the left camera and the right camera and have portions within the visual fields of the left camera and the right camera, respectively, and a stereo processor that calculates a distance to a body outside the vehicle based on images captured by the left camera and the right camera and on positions of the left camera and the right camera on the vehicle. The stereo processor detects displacement amounts of the left camera and the right camera based on amounts of change in positions of the first enclosure and the second enclosure within the visual fields of the left camera and the right camera, and changes a cutout position in the images captured by the left camera and the right camera.

  • Patent number: 10220787
Abstract: An exterior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror head adjustably mounted at a mounting arm and adjustable between a retracted position and an extended position. The mirror reflective element is oriented to provide a driver of the vehicle a field of view rearward and sideward of the vehicle with the mounting arm attached at the side of the vehicle when the mirror head is in the retracted position and when the mirror head is in the extended position. The mirror head is connected to the mounting arm via pivotable first and second links that cooperatively pivot relative to the mounting arm and the mirror head to move the mirror head between the retracted and extended positions. An actuator is disposed at an end of the first link and operates to pivot the first link to move the mirror head between the retracted position and the extended position.

Abstract: A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head and a mounting base, with the mirror head having a mirror casing and a reflective element, and with the mounting base configured for attachment at a vehicle. A camera module is disposed at the mirror head and includes a camera having a field of view and operable to capture image data. The camera module is extendable and retractable relative to the mirror casing. With the camera module retracted, the camera module is oriented such that the field of view of the camera encompasses a blind spot region at least at the body side of the vehicle. With the camera module retracted, an inboard limit of the field of view of the camera partially overlaps an outboard limit of a field of view provided to a driver of the vehicle by the reflective element.

  • Patent number: 10220791
Abstract: One embodiment provides a mounting structure including a hook member to be mounted on a mount member, and a mounting member. A base part of the hook member protrudes from the front side of the mount member. In the mounted state, a locking part of the hook member locks with a back rim of a mounting hole. An operation part of the mounting member is operated during the mounting on the mount member. An engaging part of the mounting member can engage with the locking part at the back side of the mount member. The mounted state is achieved by sliding, via an operation applied to the operation part, the mounting member substantially parallel to a front surface or a back surface of the mounting hole, such that the engaging part engages with the locking part.
