Abstract: A sole structure for a sports shoe that controls bendability of a forefoot region of the sole structure. The sole structure includes an upper midsole disposed on an upper side of the forefoot region of the sports shoe and formed of a soft elastic material, a lower midsole disposed under the upper midsole and formed of a soft elastic material, and an outsole that is disposed on a lower surface of the lower midsole and that has sole bent grooves extending substantially in a sole width direction. Both the lower surface of the upper midsole and the upper surface of the lower midsole have corrugated mating surfaces that are formed of wavy shapes extending substantially in a sole longitudinal direction. Ridge lines and trough lines of the wavy shapes of the upper midsole extend substantially in the sole width direction. The ridge lines of the wavy shapes of the upper midsole of a relatively higher hardness are overlapped with the sole bent grooves of the outsole in a vertical direction.

Abstract: A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a sole plate that has a foot-facing surface with a forefoot portion, and a ground-facing surface opposite from the foot-facing surface. The sole plate has a plurality of grooves extending at least partially transversely relative to the sole plate in the forefoot portion of the foot-facing surface, and a plurality of ribs protruding at the ground-facing surface, extending at least partially transversely relative to the sole plate, and underlying the plurality of grooves. At least some grooves of the plurality of grooves are configured to be open when the sole structure is dorsiflexed in a first portion of a flexion range, and closed when the sole structure is dorsiflexed in a second portion of the flexion range that includes flex angles greater than in the first portion of the flexion range.

Abstract: A shoe comprising an inner lining, upper portion, and optionally a heel counter in between the inner lining and upper portion. A cutout is positioned at the heel of the shoe, that cuts out the inner lining, upper portion, and heel counter where the shoe's heel comes into contact with the top of the calcaneus bone and above. The empty space from the cutout is replaced with a heel cutout filler that has some degree of stretchiness. The inner lining, upper portion, and heel cutout filler are stitched together to form the heel of the shoe.

Abstract: An article of footwear is provided having a pressurized fluid-filled chamber in the sole structure having a continuous perimeter weld and lacking an inflation channel. The chamber may be formed from opposing polymer sheets, a continuous perimeter weld lacking a weld channel bonding the sheets and forming an interior void between the sheets, and a fluid disposed within the interior void exerting outward pressure on the sheets. A method for making the chamber can include placing a pair of polymer sheets in an opposing arrangement, pressing opposing perimeter weld portions of the sheets against each other to form an airtight seal along a perimeter region of an interior void, supplying a flow of pressurized air between the opposing sheets into the interior void, and, while maintaining a desired fluid pressure, welding the perimeter weld portions of the sheets to each other. A high-frequency welder for forming chamber is also provided.

In many embodiments, a tensioner associated with a wearable electronic device can control one or more actuators that are mechanically coupled to either the housing or to a band attached to the wearable electronic device. In one example, in response to a signal to increase the tightness of the band, the tensioner can cause the actuator(s) to increase the tension within the band.

When closing the umbrella, the slider is moved downwards the support tube. By this, the slider pulls the flexible traction member, so that the counterweight component is lifted upwards. When the upper end of the counterweight component comes in touch with the lower end of the guide tube, the guide tube is pushed upwards by the counterweight component. By this, the upper hub is lifted. This simultaneously causes a lift of the ribs, pivotally connected to the upper hub. In a second embodiment, there is added a free pulley system in order to save some force.

Abstract: An adjustable shoulder supported carrying strap assembly for use with a load, such as a laptop bag, that enables the load to be carried over the shoulder. The assembly comprises a shoulder pad configured to snugly engage the point of the shoulder. The pad is defined by a central aperture that snugly encircles the point of the shoulder. The central aperture also works to reduce stress on the point of the shoulder, whereby the greatest stress from the weight of the load occurs in more muscular lower regions of the shoulder covered by the shoulder pad. The shelf and the support pad work in concert to create a sufficiently level typing surface for the user. As such, the user's wrists do not need to be bent while typing. Specifically, a height of the shelf is less than a height of the support panel. This configuration enables the typing surface of the keyboard to be placed coplanar to the top surface of the pad.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an insulated transport cabinet for food or the like having a housing, a door, a hinge cover, and a hinge pin. The housing includes a barrel portion adjacent to a front surface and extending between top and bottom ends. The barrel portion includes a longitudinal axis, a gap separating the barrel portion into top and bottom barrel sections having first and second passageways aligned with the longitudinal axis, respectively. The door includes a hinge adjacent to a side surface and including a third passageway aligned with the longitudinal axis. An inner surface of the hinge pin complements an outer surface of the hinge. The hinge pin passes through the first, third, and second passageways. The door pivots about the longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The longitudinal axis is offset from a center plane of the door.

Abstract: A bracket device of a slide rail assembly includes a bracket and a fastening member. The bracket includes a side wall and a mounting member adjacent to the side wall. The fastening member is movable relative to the bracket, and includes a side part, a fastening part and a blocking feature. The fastening part is bent relative to the side part, and the blocking feature is arranged at the side part. When the fastening member is located at a predetermined position relative to the bracket, the blocking feature is adjacent to the mounting member. When the fastening member is moved away from the predetermined position, the blocking feature is away from the mounting member.

Abstract: Pass-through convenience cabinet with controlled access for a public accommodation has a hallway-side door for delivery and pickup of food service items, linen exchange, or other items, without need for staff to disturb the occupant or to enter the room. The cabinet has one or more compartments with respective room-side door or doors that can be opened by the occupant or guest. A touch screen device on the room side of the cabinet frame allows the occupant or guest to open the respective compartments, and to communicate with hotel staff to order food items or request exchange of a towel or other item. An electronic record is kept of all requests, pickups, and deliveries which may be used for management purposes. A separate compartment accessible only from within the room may be used as a room safe. The cabinet can be configured to service a pair of adjacent guest rooms.

The at least one support is mounted to the base of the body, and disposed within the interior volume. The support includes a foot and a stem extending from the foot. The foot is mounted to the base of the body and defines a foot plane, and the stem extends from the foot at an oblique angle to the foot plane. The at least one product holder is mounted to the at least one support, and is configured to hold a product at an orientation that is oblique to the foot plane.
