Abstract: An appliance can be used to mitigate or even eliminate wear from soil abrasion on the tine or shank of a cultivator. The appliances is made of a polymer and is positioned between the tine or shank and a sweep. The appliance is conveniently replaced whenever a worn sweep is replaced. By protecting the tine or shank from wear, the comparatively much more expensive tine or shank can be replaced at much longer intervals. This can save both equipment costs and downtime.

Abstract: The devices, systems, and methods herein use air pressure to dispense seed into the ground in a controlled manner. In certain embodiments, a valve is actuated to push a single seed out of a seed chamber. The seed can be conveyed from the metering housing and through a seed delivery apparatus to the furrow at high speed. The rapid conveyance from the seed chamber to the furrow by the precisely controlled air pulse eliminates the variation from known metering and delivery technologies and enables higher planting speeds.

Abstract: An agricultural planting implement includes a number of row units. The row units include one or more seed meters for receiving, singulating, and dispensing seed to the ground such that preferred spacing of subsequent seed is attained. A seed meter provides seeds one at time to a seed carrier, such as a brush wheel. The brush wheel may move the seeds one at a time to a seed conveyor by directly moving seeds along a curved portion of a seed disc in the seed meter. The seed conveyor may be a flighted belt, and the velocity of the seeds when transferred from the seed carrier may match the velocity of the flighted belt. The seed conveyor conveys the seeds to a position near the bottom of a furrow, and ejects the seeds with little or no horizontal velocity relative to the bottom of the furrow.

Abstract: A static electricity discharging pet bed has a foam-like cushion pad, an inner cover fabricated of waterproof, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-urine material. An outer cover encompasses the inner cover. The outer cover is fabricated of an electrical conductive material designed to conduct static electricity from the pet bed through an electrical conductive conductor, to an electrical conductive ground wire, and then to a ground only plug connected to a grounded electrical outlet. The result is that when a dog or like furry pet is positioned on the pet bed, static electricity affecting the animal is drained to electrical ground. In this same manner, an “Earthing” effect provides a number of healthful benefits to the pet as well.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cushion device for supporting a large animal such as a cow, a horse, a buffalo, a sheep, a goat, a pig and so forth. The cushioning device includes a top and bottom surface interconnected by a ‘drop stitch’ structure and a chamber. Contained within the chamber of the cushioning device is a filling material. The filling material includes a gaseous compound, a liquid or a mixture of a gaseous compound and a liquid. Additionally, the present invention also relates to the methods of transporting and installing the cushioning device. The device is shipped to the installation site absent the filling material. During installation a controlled mixture of dual phase fluids such as water and inert gas are disposed into the cushioning device, creating a gelatinous and gaseous filling material.

Abstract: A treat dispensing pet toy is shaped and weighted to remain in a normally upright position to dispense treats when contacted by an animal during interaction with the toy. The pet toy has a dome shaped base and a ring or donut-shaped cover connected to the base. A treat dispensing port is arranged on an inside circumferential edge of the cover. A central opening of the cover exposes a feeding tray. The feeding tray and inside circumferential edge define a partially enclosed area to function as a feeding bowl. Edible treats are loaded inside the cover. As the animal contacts the toy, treats are moved within the cover and pass through the dispensing port onto the feeding tray. A diverter disposed within the cover facilitates movement of the treats for easier dispensing of the treats onto the feeding tray. A method includes use of the pet toy to dispense treats.

Abstract: A double tank milk supply system for providing a continuous supply of cool clean milk or milk products. While one tank provides milk products, the other tank is cleaned. The two tanks are individually cooled, and the washing and cooling cycles are automatically controlled via a data input and display device. Included is an automatic valve system configured to dispense milk product from the second tank when the first tank is empty, and to dispense milk product from the first tank when the second tank is empty. An automatic washing system automatically washes the first tank when the first tank is empty, and washes the second tank when the second tank is empty. Also included is an agitation system, which alternatingly agitates the milk product in the first or second tank. The double tank milk supply system provides uninterrupted cool, clean milk products 24/7/365, saving the farmer time and labor.

Abstract: This disclosure provides apparatus and methods for watering livestock using a livestock waterer, a water source, and a waterer valve system for replenishing water in a water reservoir of the livestock waterer. A valve housing can be affixed to the water reservoir and coupled to a plunger. A cam can be pivotably coupled to the valve housing and one end of a float arm. A float component can be coupled to the opposite end of the float arm. Water from the water supply can enter the valve housing and exit an orifice in the valve housing along first and second side spouts. The float component can have a generally flat bottom and move vertically along with the water level within the water reservoir. As the float component moves vertically, the float arm pivots the cam. The cam can move the plunger in the valve housing to stop water flow.
