    Abstract: An adjustable polar blind assembly for window includes a 90-degrees polarization filter, an adjustable shade unit, a 0-degrees polarization filter. The 90-degrees polarization filter, which is positioned adjacent to a window, is mounted offset of the adjustable shade unit. The 0-degrees polarization filter is mounted offset of the adjustable shade unit, opposite of the 90-degrees polarization filter. Moreover, the angles of polarization for the 0-degrees polarization filter and the 90-degrees polarization filter are oriented perpendicular to one another. The adjustable shade unit includes a retractable roller mechanism, a 45-degrees polarization filter, and a transparent filter. The 45-degrees polarization filter that has an angle of polarization of 45 degrees relative to the perpendicularly oriented filters is connected to the retractable roller mechanism by the transparent filter.

    Abstract: A vehicle convertible system include left and right side rails extending in a vehicle length direction and defining a roof opening, and a roof member covering the roof opening. The roof member includes a frame, an outer cover attached to the frame, and a headliner including a cover attached to an underside of the frame. A linkage connected to the roof member moves the roof member between a closed condition and a stowed condition. A retractor attached to the roof member is connected to lateral side portions of the headliner cover. The retractor is operable by movement of the linkage. The retractor moves the lateral side portions between a covering position which conceals the linkage in the closed condition of the roof member and a retracted position inwardly of the side rails to provide clearance for the linkage as the roof member is moved to the stowed position.

In some aspects, a device can provide protection for a vehicle and its occupants during a hailstorm. The device might be generally ovoid or elliptical and flat or (slightly) convex in shape, comprising single (or multiple) distinct airtight compartments (or layers) that can each inflate separately. The device might be fabricated from a relatively light, airtight, and waterproof material. When protection from hailstone is needed, the device can be quickly placed over the top of the vehicle, secured, then inflated with an air pump that plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, USB port, or electrical outlet, or the like. Once inflated, the device is ready to provide an air-cushion barrier against falling hailstone. The device may be attached to a vehicle utilizing several straps.
