The tensioning system includes a tensioning member that is tightened or loosened using a motorized tensioning device for winding and unwinding the tensioning member on a spool. The motorized tensioning device includes a torque transmitting system that allows for incremental tightening incremental loosening and full loosening of the tensioning member.

Abstract: An adjustment system has a housing, a cam lid and a ratchet strap. The housing has an elastic arm connected to each one of its side walls, a front opening and a rear opening. The cam lid is rotatably connected to the side walls of the housing, and has two elastic arms extending under the bottom surface, and a locking element disposed in an interior cavity of the cam lid. The cam lid locks the ratchet strap to the housing when the ratchet strap is fed through the housing and cam lid so that the locking element engages teeth on the ratchet strap. Pressing the elastic arms of the housing toward each other presses against the sides of the cam lid and causes the cam lid to rotate and release the locking element from the teeth of the ratchet strap.

Abstract: A seatbelt tongue includes a tongue plate, a latch plate, a guide pin and a first retention bump. The tongue plate includes a belt slot. The latch plate is slidably connected with the tongue plate and is translatable between a first position and a second position. The guide pin is fixed to one of the tongue plate and the latch plate. The guide pin slidably passes through a pin slot in the other of the tongue plate and the latch plate. The first retention bump in the pin slot defines a pin pocket receiving the pin in the first position.

Abstract: A fastening strip for touch fasteners is provided which includes a corrugated portion as well as fastening elements. The corrugated portion allows the strip to be bent in a plane perpendicular as well as parallel with the longitudinal axis of the strip such that it may be applied to curved surfaces and remain substantially flat. Fastening elements such as hooks, loops, mushroom-shaped, bulbous and double hooks may be included on both sides of the strip and on the walls of the channels that form the corrugations as well as between the corrugations. The corrugated fastening strips may be useful for automotive seating and diaper applications. Processes for forming the corrugated fastening strip area also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for joining two or more pieces of hook fastener tape. In some embodiments, the two or more pieces of tape are spliced together using ultrasonic welding. At least one of the splicing components used to splice the tapes together may be configured so that the component influences the profile of a connecting portion along which the two tapes are welded together. In some cases, at least one of the splicing components may be configured to minimize deformation of the tapes as they are welded together.

A first manifold allows a seal to be made against a first surface of one or more Peltier chips and defines a flow path for a heat transfer fluid which directly contacts the first surfaces of the Peltier chips. The fluid circulates through tubing from the first manifold to a first radiator. A second opposite manifold defines a flow path for a heat transfer fluid which directly contacts the second surfaces of the Peltier chips. The fluid then circulates through tubing from the second manifold to a second radiator. The first radiator may be disposed inside, and the second radiator outside, the cabinet. Application of current in a first direction to the Peltier chips can heat the cabinet and reversal of the current may cool the cabinet.

In certain embodiments, the auxiliary display bracket allows for an auxiliary display to be disposed on a laptop monitor.

Abstract: An armrest assembly for use on a folding chair. The armrest assembly has a molded plastic body with a top surface and an underside. The armrest assembly is provided with a phone holder construct that amplifies sounds produced by a cell phone. An access opening is formed in the top surface of the armrest. A receptacle for holding the cell phone is positioned under the access opening. The receptacle has a base that is smaller than the access opening. Side walls extend from the access opening to the base, therein creating a tapered construct capable of amplifying sounds generated within the receptacle by the cell phone. Protrusions are formed on the base of the receptacle. The protrusions support the cell phone in the receptacle and prevent the speakers of the cell phone from becoming muffled by directly contacting the base within the receptacle.
