  • Patent number: PP31191
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plum tree and more particularly to a new and distinct variety broadly characterized by a medium size, vigorous, hardy, and productive tree. Being self-unfruitful, the present variety requires cross pollination from another plum or interspecific tree that blooms during the mid to late season, such as ‘Plumsweet X’ interspecific tree (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 19,528). The present variety's abundance of blossoms and moderate pollen production entices strong bee activity to facilitate pollination. The fruit matures under the ecological conditions described during the second week of September, with first picking on Sep. 13, 2018. The fruit is uniform, medium in size, almost full red in skin color, clingstone in type, red to pink in flesh color, firm in texture, juicy, very sweet and excellent in flavor.

  • Patent number: RE47764
Abstract: A method of mapping symbols of a physical control format indicator channel (PCFICH) is described. A start position of a resource element to map the symbols for the PCFICH is determined by flooring a value, obtained by multiplying the number of resource blocks by a variable proportional to a symbol index for the PCFICH and then dividing the multiplied result by 2, wherein the resource blocks are transmitted in downlink. The symbols are mapped in the start position. Therefore, a problem of wasting resource elements or not being able to implement mapping can be solved by applying a simple mapping rule while mapping symbols of the PCFICH.

Abstract: An implement has right and left pivotally attached tool bar frames movable from an operating position extending laterally to a transport position extending forward from the connecting pivot axis. Right and left hitch arms are pivotally attached about vertical axes at rear ends to spaced apart locations the right and left tool bar frames and extend forward and inward when the tool bar frame is in the operating position. A hitch frame is pivotally attached at right and left rear portions thereof to front ends of the hitch arms about vertical axes. When the tool bar frame is in the transport position, the rear end of the hitch frame is forward of the right and left tool bar frames, and the front end of the hitch frame, attachable to a tractor, is a desired clearance distance forward of the right and left tool bar frames.

  • Patent number: 10499554
Abstract: A castor wheel support for a towed agricultural implement. The castor support has a spindle for supporting a castor mounting structure for pivoting movement. The castor mounting structure includes an annular friction element received over the spindle and a plurality of C-shaped shims removable laterally without disassembly of the mounting structure to allow the pressure on the friction element to be set to minimize wobbling.

Abstract: A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, at least one obstruction sensor, at least one state sensor, and circuitry. A work device is attachable to the vehicle body. The at least one obstruction sensor is provided on the vehicle body to detect an obstruction to the work vehicle. The at least one state sensor is provided on at least one of the vehicle body and the work device to detect at least one state of the vehicle body and the work device. The circuitry is configured to determine an obstruction detection area based on the at least one state detected by the at least one state sensor, and to determine whether the obstruction exists within the obstruction detection area based on a sensor signal from the at least one obstruction sensor.

  • Patent number: 10499556
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing harvested miscanthus or other rhizomes to condition them for replanting to grow miscanthus plants. Quantities of clusters of rhizomes are supplied to a first inclined ramp conveyor, the clusters of rhizomes are caught on a mechanism that pushes the clusters of rhizomes to a location where the clusters of rhizomes encounter obstructers that cooperate with the mechanism to cut and reduce the size of the clusters. The reduced size clusters are vibrated to loosen and separate soil from the reduced size cluster of rhizomes, washed to wash dirt from the clusters, and collected for supply to a planter.
