Abstract: Tooth cleaning devices for portable, discrete use to improve dental hygiene as well as cosmetic appearance of teeth and processes for using same. The devices enable discrete cleaning of teeth after drinking dark-colored beverages or after eating food in social settings when conventional teeth cleaning devices are unavailable or inconvenient. In particular, these devices are designed for multiple uses, so that the same device may be used for teeth cleaning on multiple occasions.

Abstract: A brush for delivering a glutinous substance to a workpiece from an end-effector is disclosed. The brush comprises a body having a rotational axis. The body comprises a first end, a second end, opposite the first end, and a channel, comprising an axial inlet and an outlet. The axial inlet is at the first end of the body and is coaxial with the rotational axis. The brush also comprises bristles, extending from the body so that the bristles are not parallel to the rotational axis of the body.

Abstract: A two-piece table includes a one-piece tabletop portion and a one piece table leg portion. The tabletop portion is made of four or more distinct independent, hinged segments which allow the tabletop fold, origami style, into a small package. The tabletop further includes four corners having various chamfered ends or corners which allows for the creation of a handle in the longer ends or corners of the tabletop. The table leg portion is a foldable, unitary structure including four legs and a top portion on which the table top rests without any attachment. The top portion of the table leg portion fits into a slot or groove on the underside of the tabletop. The table leg portion is hinged and folds into a square.

Abstract: In one example, a height adjustable desktop system is described that can include a work surface, a foot assembly and a linkage assembly that adjustably connects the work surface to the foot assembly allowing vertical adjustment of the work surface. The linkage assembly can include a pair of adjustment assemblies, each having a transverse linkage that maintains the work surface in a horizontal orientation as the work surface is elevated or lowered. A biasing mechanism, such as an extension spring or a torsion spring, biases the work surface toward the elevated position.

The boards of the work surface assemblies are arranged in a row or two rows of a matrix. Therefore, the work surface assemblies are combinative to be mounted on the base to have various layouts of the boards.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of forming a container comprising forming a basket portion of metal mesh material and a rail connected to the basket portion. The rail extends substantially outwardly from the outer surface of the basket portion and the rail extends continuously around the outer surface of the basket portion. In one example, the method includes forming the rail so that it does not contain or surround a free edge of the basket portion. In another example, the method includes forming the rail so that it includes an opening for containing or surrounding a free edge of the basket portion. The method may also include forming a lower rail. The present invention is also directed to a container formed by such method.

Abstract: A console drawer assembly is provided for a vehicle that includes, in one example: a housing having a recess formed therein. The housing is configured to fit between a driver seat and a passenger seat of the vehicle. The console drawer assembly also includes a drawer that is oriented to open into a floor area associated with back seats of the vehicle; the drawer is configured to slidably move within the recess, the drawer being movable between an open position and a closed position. In addition, the console drawer assembly includes a first spring dampening mechanism mounted to the housing, the first spring dampening mechanism extends into the recess, and is oriented to make contact with an exterior surface of the drawer in a first pre-identified stress region, and to absorb vertical stress therefrom.

Abstract: A wall mounted shelf wherein a diagonal bracket can support an upper shelf, bar or beam several inches above the vertical wall bearing plate. A lower shelf, bar or beam can be hung from the upper shelf. A triangular platform comprises the diagonal bracket, the wall and a top shelf. The diagonal bracket transmits a large force vector into the vertical wall bearing plate as opposed to traditional knee braces that transmit a pivoting vector on the vertical wall bearing plate away from the wall. The result is a cost saving heavy duty shelving system using traditional lumber. An optional variable length diagonal bracket is disclosed. Another embodiment uses the same diagonal pair of brackets to store tires or other objects against the wall and eliminates the shelves and provides a chin up bar. Another embodiment replaces the lower shelf with a chin up bar between two diagonal brackets.

A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.

The seat assembly is supported by the base frame and includes a seat frame, a seat bottom, a seat back and a legrest. The legrest is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The motor assembly includes a draw bar that moves along a motor extrusion housing from an initial position to a first position and to a second position. The legrest mechanism is driven by the draw bar to move the legrest between the retracted and extended positions. The wall-proximity mechanism is driven by the draw bar to translate the seat frame forward relative to the base frame in response to movement of the draw bar from the first position to the second position.

All of the interior surfaces of the protector are coated or laminated with a film laminate that is resistant to bed bug bites. A zipper extends partially around the circumference of the mattress protector so that when the zipper is opened an opening is provided allowing a mattress to be slid into the protector. The zipper is located next to the intersection between side walls and the bottom wall. A closure flap extends perpendicularly to the direction of extension of the zipper. Abstract: Multilayer furniture protective devices and methods of use are provided herein. An example furniture protective device includes a tubular sleeve having a first open end and a second open end. The tubular sleeve has a layered pair of substrates including an elastomeric sheet stitched to a polymeric fabric sheet. The elastomeric sheet is stitched using a diamond pattern and the polymeric fabric sheet has a stitched diamond pattern that forms cells. Each of the cells has a ruching of polymeric fabric sheet material. The cells can expand when the furniture protective device is stretched due to the ruching of polymeric fabric sheet material allowing the tubular sleeve to expand to encompass an article of furniture. The elastomeric sheet resiliently biasing the tubular sleeve into a conforming relationship around the article of furniture.

The marking device can have a main body portion having first and second arms pivotably attached thereto. The first and second arms, as well as the main body, can each have a marker to mark a target surface. The marking device can optionally have a level indicator and the first and second arms can have markers which can slide along a ruled measure for convenient positioning of marks on the target surface. Optionally, the markers can have biased, retractable, or sheathed marker pins.

Abstract: A fitted blanket fits over the mattress and secures underneath to prevent the blanket from moving off the user while sleeping in bed. The blanket can include an elastic material on at least the underside corner edges thereof to help secure the blanket to the mattress. The fitted blanket includes an opening to allow for easy entry and exit, rather than having to untuck the blanket. The opening may also provide an easy way to make the bed. The opening may simply be designed like a cut in the blanket and may or may not include closing mechanisms. The fitted nature of the blanket prevents blanket slippage or movement. The blanket may further include a cut-out region or an opening along at least a portion of the head end for pillow placement. Abstract: An article includes a surface adapted for presence in an environment containing odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds, a bonding agent, and bacilli bacteria. A method for binding bacilli to a surface is also disclosed. First, the surface is provided. The surface is then heated and placed under pressure. Then, the bacilli and a bonding agent may be applied to the surface, either alone or as a pre-mixed composition. The pre-mixed composition may be in the form of an aqueous dispersion. A method for controlling odors from odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds is also disclosed. The method includes applying bacilli bacteria to a surface and placing the surface in an area likely to include odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds.

Abstract: The present invention is an ergonomic safety work mat which includes a modular ergonomic wooden platform with a synthetic tapered marginal border. The purpose of this invention is to provide occupational workers with a therapeutic, forgiving work surface to protect them from the health risks of working, walking and standing on a concrete floor or common anti-fatigue mat used in many factories today. The wooden platform is raised off the floor to offer suspension, thus promoting a spring effect for absorbing and returning compression force resulting in reduced stress loads and compression force for people who work, walk or stand fort extended periods of time. Abstract: A coffee brewer for a coffee capsule includes a frame body, a holding mechanism and two reloading mechanisms. The holding mechanism includes a holding seat for holding the coffee capsule. Each of the reloading mechanisms includes a rack member having a wing portion and rotatable between a loading position and an unloading position, a pin member movable by the holding seat to rotate the rack member to the loading position, and a restoring spring resiliently biasing the rack member to rotate toward the unloading position.

Abstract: A process and apparatus for preparing a brewed beverage including utilizing a predetermined amount of brewed substance and a predetermined amount of water. The process comprises dispensing a first amount of water into a receiving apparatus, wherein the first amount is less than the predetermined amount of water of the brewed beverage. The process further comprises dispensing the predetermined amount of brewed substance into the receiving apparatus. The process further comprises dispensing a second amount of water into the receiving apparatus, wherein the second amount of water is less than the predetermined amount of water of the brewed beverage.
