Abstract: There is provided a fuel cell vehicle that allows minimally suppressing damage of a fuel cell stack and a high voltage component as important components when the vehicle collides from a front side. An ion exchanger as a first component includes a tubular portion and a cap portion. When the front side of the fuel cell vehicle collides, the tubular portion deforms due to an impact load from a radiator as a second component moving toward the ion exchanger to buffer an impact from the radiator. The cap portion restricts additional deformation of a damper portion when the impact load from the radiator becomes a predetermined magnitude or more. A stack frame and a chassis are joined and fixed via mounts such that the stack frame is detached from the chassis due to the impact load from the radiator when the deformation of the tubular portion is restricted by the cap portion.

Abstract: A carpet for a sound reduction material is disclosed including: a non-permeable primary coating layer formed of polyethylene (PE) resin, being in contact with a lower surface of a fabric layer and having a basis weight of 200 to 300 g/m2; a permeable felt layer in contact with a lower surface of the primary coating layer and having a basis weight of 200 to 500 g/m2; and a non-permeable secondary coating layer formed of polyethylene (PE) resin or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), being in contact with a lower surface of the felt layer and having a basis weight of 200 to 1,000 g/m2. The carpet for a sound reduction material may thus have improved noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) performance, reduced total weight and improved stiffness.

Abstract: Off-road incidents, breakdowns etc. require that an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) is recovered. Typically, the environments these incidents occur prevent driving pick-up trucks etc. to them to use conventional trailers. Similarly, prior art mounts for towing an ATV require its placement and attachment which can be extremely difficult during warmer months when caked in mud, leaves, etc. and worse in winter when caked in snow, ice, etc. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide users with a means of transporting an ATV within off-road environments allowing not only a simple and easy assembly/attachment of the ATV with the ATV transportation means but also for the resulting combination of the towing vehicle, in all likelihood another ATV, and the ATV transportation means to be driven out of the off-road environment to an on-road environment for subsequent repair, transportation etc. of the broken or other ATV.

Abstract: A trailer lighting control device enables flashing of trailer lights when the trailer is not electrically connected to a vehicle. The device uses an on-board battery which is electrically connected to the standard AUX terminal of the trailer-vehicle plug. The device has a housing which holds a socket mateable with the trailer-vehicle plug. The socket is connected to a flasher module which has a negative terminal, a positive terminal, and a load terminal. The flasher periodically electrically connects the positive terminal to the load terminal. A wiring circuit forms an electrical connection between a terminal of the socket mateable with the AUX terminal and the positive terminal of the flasher, and an electrical connection between the load terminal of the flasher and one or more terminals of the socket which are mateable with terminals of the trailer plug that are connected to lights of the trailer.
