Abstract: An implant is suitable for treatment for nerve tissue injuries of various types in any period of the severe injury to the nerve tissue, in particular, of the spinal cord, immediately after relief of disturbed vital functions for the early and stable restoration of its conduction in the acute period, prevention from or reduction of the demyelination processes. The technical result is to ensure the possibility to restore the injured nerve tissue in volume. The implant is the body made from porous material, such as the porous PTFE having three-dimensional structure containing the open through pores and dead-ended pores uniformly distributed over inner surfaces of the open pores and connected with the inner surfaces; pore sizes are randomly distributed within the range of 150-300 ?m. The method of treatment for nerve tissue injuries and use of the porous PTFE for manufacture of the implant are also claimed.

Abstract: A minimally invasive fat cell removal system and method is provided using a numbing component, a laser component, and a NIL component. A cannula and fiber of the laser component are insertable into a body of a patient at a biopsy punch to liquefy a fat cell via a tumescent fluid and/or a laser. A NIL cannula of the NIL component is insertable into the body to remove the fat cell via suction and/or nutation. An anesthetic device of the numbing component may reduce sensation of the body where the cannula is insertable. The fat cell may be harvested and implanted at another location of the body.

Abstract: A surgical instrument enables dispensing of a series of fasteners within a patient's body. The device includes a magazine sized and dimensioned to hold a series of fasteners, the series of fasteners insertable through an opening at the end of the magazine. A splined guide bore is rotatably supported within the magazine, and slidingly supports a shaft having an external surface mateable with the splined guide bore to restrict radial rotation of the shaft with respect to the support about said longitudinal axis. A biasing element is connected between the support and the shaft, to urge the shaft along a longitudinal axis towards a distal end of the instrument. A ratchet is connected to the shaft and engages the magazine to permit sliding of the shaft in a direction for dispensing fasteners only, unless disengaged with the magazine.

Specifically, the SI joint implant device will compress the patient's SI joint with the differential between the thread pitch of a distal portion of the device and a proximal portion of the device. As the SI joint implant device is advanced across the patient's SI joint, the smaller pitch on the proximal threads will compress the joint with every turn of the screw. The center section of the SI joint implant will also be sheathed in the additively manufactured bone matrix sleeve that has both the porosity and the structure to promote boney ingrowth.
