The reciprocation mechanism is driven by the motor to reciprocate relative to the shell member, so as to pull the rope set to reciprocate the wearable member set and patient's joint part. By using the power unit to drive the pulling unit to pull reciprocatingly for mobilizing the patient's joint part, instead of the therapist's treatment, the therapist's burden in physical strength can be reduced. Furthermore, the joint mobilization apparatus can provide the user to execute various muscle training modes.

A fluid is delivered into or out of the chamber to displace the textile envelope primarily by transitioning from an uninflated state to the pre-determined geometry due to displacement of the textile envelope rather than via stretching or contraction of the textile envelope. When actuated, the textile actuator (a) displaces a body segment of the user and/or (b) supports and holds the body segment of the user in place.

An intelligent algorithm, embedded onto a dedicated processor, actuates various motors to execute the prescribed exercises, while the sensors provide dynamic feedback for corrective measures to control the exercise routine.

The compression wrap is securable to a body part with a distal wall of the bag-like enclosure against the body part.
