The first securing portion is secured to a first position on the retaining member with a first securing portion fastening member. The second securing portion is secured to a second position on the retaining member via a second securing portion fastening member. The second securing portion includes an insertion hole through which the second securing portion fastening member is inserted. The insertion hole is an elongated hole extending in a direction that connects the first securing portion and the second securing portion to each other.

In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair, frame members collectively form an open chair frame with buoyant cushions forming a chair seat and a backrest as well as a left arm rest and a right arm rest. The left arm rest and the right arm rest are each intersected by a cup holder. A recess in the cup holder has a forward tilt relative to a horizontal axis having an angle between approximately 20 degrees and approximately 40 degrees toward the front end of the buoyant pool lounge chair. In operation, when the buoyant pool lounge chair is supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, the forward tilt of the cup holder provides a compensating-leveling mechanism that mitigates spilling of liquid in the cup when the cup is placed within the cup holder.

This rugged, lightweight platform has multiple vertical mounts and substantially stretches both horizontally and vertically providing numerous configurations. Supported signs and products are attached only at the top which allows them to freely swing; wind resistant. The structure is made from 2 aluminum tubes that slide inside each other; telescopes. Fastening occurs using thumb screws attached to the outer tubes that when twisted, pinches the inside interconnecting tubes. Tubes come in 1 to 4 foot lengths and can couple together to form much larger members. The 2 side frames are tubes welded together. In one embodiment, the transaction device stand comprises a stand base having a base plate, a column having a shape, and a winged collar latching mechanism. A swivel top may be mounted to the stand base via the winged collar, the swivel top configured to be physically coupled to a transaction device. A tension mechanism may be implemented between a portion of the swivel top and a portion of the winged collar of the stand base such that the swivel top is held at a position relative to the stand base in tension.

In some aspects, a concentric set of arms or tabs in a pre-configured section of a drinking vessel applies holding pressure to expanded water poured within the section. A beverage is then poured over the frozen water, submerging it. In other aspects, holding pressure is maintained through flexible and/or adjustable arms, and lateral play eliminated, even if the frozen water melts. In other embodiments, a loop or set of loops extends from the center of the vessel above the section, and separate, flexible members (preferably cambered) are threaded through the loops after the water is frozen to apply greater holding pressure.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an assistive shoe donning and doffing device comprising a heel support, a movable toe support and an inclined surface, which is rotatable to adjust an angle of the inclined surface. The inclined surface has at least a plantarflexion foot position, a neutral foot position and a dorsiflexion foot position. The foot positions may be preset, or the inclined surface is rotated in a continuous manner to reach said foot positions. The foot positions may be controlled remotely by a remote controller, a graphical user interface or by voice, and the donning device can sense the location of the shoe on the inclined surface.

Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a secure package delivery and pick-up system. The system comprises a security door with several collapsible storage compartments for accommodating packages meant for delivery or pick-up. The size of the compartments are configured to accommodate packages of different sizes and weights. The system enables secure delivery and return pick-up of packages at unmanned location by using security measures such as electronic key generation, biometric identification, RFID, video cameras. The user is facilitated to monitor the delivery and pick-up activity remotely through a mobile application downloaded on the computing device. The system is easy to install and provides protection of the packages form theft or damages due to weather conditions. The system enables user to share secure electronic keys with other users for a predetermined duration for accessing the building through the secure door and for usage of the storage compartments.

Abstract: Package-receiving-lockers (PRLs) may have a collapsible-locker portion and door-attachment-structure. PRLs may exist in a substantially collapsed configuration for storing the given PRL or for otherwise minimizing a footprint of the given PRL; and these PRLs may exist in a substantially deployed (expanded) configuration for acting as a secure object storage location. Regardless of configuration (deployed or collapsed), PRLs may be removably attached to side-hinged-doors with the door-attachment-structure, in such a way so as not to impair operation of the given door. The PRLs may have various electronics for facilitating access (e.g., locking and unlocking the collapsible-locker), delivery confirmation, and mitigating theft. These electronics, along with specialized software, may allow an intended recipient (e.g., a buyer), a shipper/delivery person (or shipping/deliver robot), and/or a seller/vendor to access the PRL in a controlled and documented manner.

In a first embodiment, the wall mount includes a helical spring disposed between a fixed plug and a movable plug, the spring being coaxially disposed around a guide screw extending between the plugs, the spring assembly being housed in a tubular sleeve that an end of the curtain rod slides into to bear against the movable plug.
