Abstract: An artificially intelligent harvest and reuse system for planting vegetables has a first mechanic arm moving a plurality of planting plates around a first conveyor, a second conveyor, a first shelf and a second shelf. The planting plates are sent to a connecting conveyor for the grown vegetables thereon to be picked up by a second mechanic arm and further sent to a root cutting apparatus then to a packaging apparatus, while the empty planting plates are further sent to an exit end of the first conveyor and a third mechanic arm places nursery foams with sprouts from a storage area onto the empty planting plates. Then the refilled planting plates are sent back to the corresponding shelf via the second conveyor and placed back into the corresponding layers neatly by the first mechanic arm on a first distributing apparatus.

Abstract: The present concept is a method of growing a Cannabis plant includes the steps of growing a main stem which is known as an apical meristem of a Cannabis plant to a height of 12 to 24 inches above the soil. Train the plant by trimming uppermost leaves of the apical meristem which results in the growth of at least three main upper branches emerging proximate the top of the plant. Apply a light cycle to stimulate a vegetative growth phase. Lower a screen onto the upper branches such that the upper branches support the weight of the screen, wherein applying the weight of the screen onto the upper branches increases the vigor of the plant and trains the branches to grow horizontally radially outwardly from the apical meristem. Manually position branches under the screen so that the branches are directed radially away from the apical meristem along a screen bottom surface and towards an outer periphery of the screen.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are disclosed of fishing float systems and methods of using the same. In exemplary embodiments, a fishing float system generally includes at least one insert configured to be slidably and engagingly received within an open end portion of a tube having a hollow interior. The engagement of the at least one insert within the open end portion of the tube may create a substantially water tight seal between the at least one insert and the tube that may substantially prevent or inhibit the ingress of water into the hollow interior of the tube, thereby allowing the tube to be usable as a fishing bobber or float.

A computer device remotely disposed to the pest monitoring devices receives generated signals therefrom, analyzes environmental and historical factor data for the site to determine an amount and placement location of the pest monitoring devices for monitoring the site, and directs deployment of the pest control monitoring devices according to the analysis. The computer device also receives data from the pesticide dispensing unit including an amount or rate of the pesticide substance dispensed from the pesticide module, to form treatment having a concentration of the pesticide substance in the diluent, the treatment being dispensed from the pesticide dispensing unit to treat a detected pest at the site.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a spray boom for an agricultural machine in which the boom is arranged as a truss with interior diagonal struts of the truss being configured to absorb tension and compression energy imparted by deflections over the length of the boom with such energy being dissipated as heat. In one aspect, the diagonal strut could comprise a rod moveable with respect to a tube with a polymer, such as an elastomeric material, arranged in the tube to dampen the movement. The tension and compression of the diagonal strut could subject the dampener to a shearing force which could be absorbed by the dampener rather than transferred to the machine.

Abstract: A live catch animal cage trap having a multi-use bait apparatus in a rear end of the trap is provided. The bait apparatus includes a base plate secured to the rear end of the trap and a cover. The base plate has a cutout that is operative with an opening in the wire mesh of the trap rear end to enable the user to reach into the trap interior through the aligned cutout and opening, while the cover closes the cutout and opening for use. The bait apparatus preferably also includes a removable receptacle having a side wall, an apertured front wall, and an open back. With the side wall and front wall being inserted through the cutout and opening, bait is placed into the receptacle through the open back which is then blocked by closing the cover to enclose the bait while allowing the scent thereof to escape through the apertured front wall to attract a target animal to be trapped. The cover may be further provided with apertures to increase bait odor dissemination.

Abstract: Cryoprotective compositions with magnetic nanowires and cryoprotective agents are used to cryopreserve biomaterials. The biomaterials in the cryoprotective composition are rapidly and uniformly heated during warming to minimize damage due to cracking and/or devitrification. The nanowires are CoFe nanowires. The nanowires may be aligned parallel to the alternating magnetic field to increase the specific absorption rate of the nanowires. The methods include warming the cryopreserved biomaterial in the cryopreserved composition at a rate higher than the critical warming rate using an alternating magnetic field.
