Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses may provide for the intermediated retrieval of applications on a network. A computing device may be configured to receive an application from an application server on a network. Based on, for example, the network conditions between the computing device and the application server, the computing device may query a plurality of intermediary servers. Based on a decision that, for example, the network conditions between the computing device, application server, and a selected intermediary server are better than the network conditions between the computing device and the application server, the computing device may cause the application to be retrieved by a host application of the selected intermediary server. The host application may process and transmit the application to the computing device. The computing device may display the processed application and transmit user input corresponding to the processed application to the intermediary server.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for dynamic computation in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. An interest packet to perform a computation may be received at a first interface of an ICN node. The ICN node may then perform a lookup in a forwarding information base (FIB) to identify a second interface to forward the interest packet. The interest packet may be forwarded on the second interface. Upon receipt of a data packet on the second interface in response to the interest packet, the ICN node may update an entry in the FIB for the second interfaces with a processing payload included in the data packet. The controller may dynamically generate rules on the basis of learned of detected flow characteristics to achieve optimum compression. The controller may operate as a state machine, which may define states corresponding to different degrees of compression for a given flow or flow type. Abstract: A processing system includes a controller of a transmitting module for transmitting data to a receiving module across an interconnect compliant with a processor interconnect protocol. The controller indicates the beginning and end of a variable-length data burst using data primitives that are N symbols (bytes) in length, rather than using data primitives that are M symbols in length, as specified by the processor interconnect protocol, where N<M. The controller of the transmitting module signals the beginning of a data burst by sending a short primitive indicating either the beginning of a data burst or signaling the receiving module to reset error detection logic so that error detection information based on the data burst can be calculated. The controller automatically inserts another short primitive indicating the end of a data burst when there is no data to transmit, thus accommodating data bursts of variable lengths.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing a notification mode determination service. A notification mode determination service may apply various criteria to determine a mode for displaying a notification on a mobile computing device, and may analyze responses to previously displayed notifications in order to determine the criteria to apply, prioritize the application of the criteria, and identify preferred notification modes. Notifications may be displayed using audio feedback, visual feedback, haptic feedback, or combinations thereof, and may be deferred until a particular time or condition is reached. Notification modes may be determined based on factors such as a foreground software application, a type or category of the foreground software application, calendar events, holidays, geolocations, and the like.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method of routing incoming communications to a CSR and providing guidance to the CSR based on the incoming communication using feedback information such as sentiment feedback, survey feedback, and feedback from actions taken by CSRs based on skill level. A CEC system receives an incoming communication, analyzes the communication and creates metadata based off of the analysis. The metadata is used by the RAE routing module to route the communication to an appropriate party. The metadata is also used by the GAE guidance module to determine the guidance to provide to the CSR. The CSR then performs an action based on the guidance. The CEC system continues to monitor the interaction until the interaction is completed. The communication metadata, the communication, the guidance, and the CSRs action are all provided to a RAS rules analysis module wherein the RAS analyzes the data and automatedly updates the rules (RAR and GAR) according to the analysis.

Predicted dispatcher workload is generated for one or more of channels and talkgroups, based on crime analysis data for one or more of regions and first responders associated with the one or more of the channels and the talkgroups. Subsets of the one or more of the channels and the talkgroups are assigned to the plurality of dispatcher terminals based at least on the predicted dispatcher workload for the one or more of the channels and the talkgroups and respective dispatcher profiles. Communications at each of the plurality of dispatcher terminals are controlled based on the assigning of the subsets of the one or more of the channels and the talkgroups to the plurality of dispatcher terminals.

Abstract: A contact center queue is monitored to determine if the contact center queue meets an overload condition. For example, the contact center queue may be considered to be overloaded when there are ten voice calls on hold in the contact center queue . The contact center queue holds communication sessions in a first communication media (e.g., voice calls). In response to the first contact center queue meeting the first overload condition, a reserve agent group is identified that is associated with the contact center queue. The reserve agent group normally supports communication sessions in a second communication media (e.g., email). A communication session held in the first contact center queue in the first communication media is routed to a contact center resource (e.g., a contact center agent or contact center application) of the first reserve agent group.
