Publication number: 20210076553Abstract: A turf aerator is disclosed which is configured with components that allow a user to set a desired turf aeration depth and then automatically adjust hydraulic pressure to produce a proper level of downward pressure into the ground in order to maintain consistent depth penetration with the tines. The turf aerator implements a depth control lever that is operatively connected to a switch that increases or decreases tine depth up or down. Since the desired tine depth is set and the hydraulic pressure is capable of puncturing the ground accordingly, portions of the ground that are relatively harder or softer are still properly penetrated due to the set level of depth. The turf aerator is also configured with a tine housing which shields drive chains from dirt and debris from the aerating, thereby increasing the life of the drive chains.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 27, 2020Publication date: March 18, 2021Inventors: George B. Publication number: 20210076558Abstract: A seed delivery system for use in a seeding or planting machine that removes the seed from a seed meter by capturing the seed therefrom. The delivery system then moves the seed down to a lower discharge point and accelerates the seed horizontally rearward to a speed approximately equal to the forward travel speed of the seeding machine such that the seed, when discharged has a low or zero horizontal velocity relative to the ground. Rolling of the seed in the trench is thus reduced. Furthermore, as the seed only has a short crop from the outlet to the bottom of the seed trench, the seed has little vertical speed to induce bounce. The delivery system uses a brush belt to capture move and accelerate the seed By capturing the seed and moving it from the meter to the discharge, the seed is held in place relative to other seeds and the planter row unit. As a result, the seeds are isolated from row unit dynamics thereby maintaining seed spacing.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2020Publication date: March 18, 2021Inventors: Elijah B. Publication number: 20210076576Abstract: An unventilated greenhouse is cooled during the day by transferring most of the solar energy entering the greenhouse into one or more large reservoirs of water using a droplet dispensing system. Cool reservoir water is pumped from the reservoirs into the droplet dispensing system above the reservoirs. As the droplets fall back into the reservoirs they exchange heat and water vapor with the greenhouse air, gradually warming the reservoir water during the day. During the night and morning the reservoirs are cooled for the next day by enclosing the reservoirs and droplet dispensing system so that the air above the reservoirs is isolated from the air in the remainder of the greenhouse. With the droplets activated the air enclosed above the reservoirs is circulated through banks of tubes outside the greenhouse building that serve as heat exchangers. Heat is transferred from the warm droplets to the cool air above the reservoirs, cooling the reservoirs and saturating the air.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2019Publication date: March 18, 2021Inventor: George Henry Zapalac

Publication number: 20210076583Abstract: This invention describes a new method to generate wheat seed. The process involves the delivery of pollen of the male parent at will, as available either in a preserved pollen bank, or using real-time collection from male plants as they become available. Desired pollen is delivered to fertile females during the period when viable pollen from the females and locally proximal unrelated plants is not being released. The delivered male pollen is in such amounts and fortuitously timed that it preferentially pollinates the females. Such fortuitous timing may involve the intentional application of pollen to females a day or two prior to female parent pollen becoming viable, and/or during several periods wherein female parent pollen and/or other proximal plant pollen is not being shed.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 24, 2020Publication date: March 18, 2021Applicant: Accelerated Ag Technologies, LLCInventor: Todd Krone
