The sole structure also includes a first fluid-filled segment disposed within the forefoot region and includes a first portion extending continuously from a medial side of the sole structure to a lateral side of the sole structure. The sole structure also includes a second fluid-filled segment disposed between the heel region and the first fluid-filled segment and includes a first portion extending continuously between the medial side and the lateral side. The sole structure also includes a third fluid-filled segment disposed between the first fluid-filled segment and the second fluid-filled segment and includes a first portion extending along one of the medial side and the lateral side and a second portion extending from the first portion toward the other one of the medial side and the lateral side.

The spool is disposed within the case, and the lace is wound therearound. The locking unit includes a ring body and at least one pawl arm. The ring body is optionally coupled to the spool and includes a blocking portion. The at least one pawl arm includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The second terminal is engaged with the side teeth in a loosening direction and is disengaged from the side teeth in a tightening direction. The second terminal includes an abutting portion abutted against the blocking portion in the loosening direction.

Abstract: A sole structure includes a midsole component including a midsole body, a plurality of traction members, and a securing layer. The midsole body defines an outer midsole surface and an inner midsole surface opposite the outsole midsole surface. The traction members are coupled to the midsole body. Each of the traction members includes a base and a traction body protruding from the base away from the inner midsole surface. The traction body extends through the midsole body, and the base abuts the inner midsole surface. As such, that the traction members are movable relative to the midsole body. The securing layer is disposed over the base, and is coupled to the inner midsole surface to hold the plurality of traction members in contact with the midsole component.

Abstract: Presented are systems, methods, and devices for manufacturing articles of footwear using sacrificial straps to secure segments of the footwear to a manufacturing fixture. A method for manufacturing an article of footwear, such as an athletic shoe, includes providing first and second segments of the footwear's upper, such as the vamp and heel counter. A sacrificial strap is removably attached at opposing ends thereof to the first segment, e.g., proximate a read edge of the vamp. The first segment is placed on a manufacturing fixture, such as a foot-shaped last, and securely attached to the fixture by positioning the sacrificial strap around and against the fixture. The second segment of the upper is attached, e.g., via stitching or bonding, to the first segment. Once attached, the upper is removed from the manufacturing fixture, and the sacrificial strap is cut, torn or otherwise permanently disconnected from the footwear.

Abstract: Provided is an injection-molded resin button, which does not crack or is unlikely to crack at attaching the button to a fabric. This invention relates to a button including a button body having a through-hole at the center thereof. The button body of the button includes a left half part and a right half part, which are segmented left and right by a virtual straight line passing through a gate position, on the button body, corresponding to a gate of a mold for molding the button and the center of the button body. The button body includes one or more concave portions or one or more convex portions on an outer surface of the button body. The button is characterized in that the concave portions or the convex portions are provided asymmetrically in the left and right half parts. The button body includes a nonlinear weld line at least on the outer surface.

Abstract: A belt buckle has a main body, a rotatable shaft assembly, an elastic member and a controlling member. The main body has a front piece and two side pieces paired and connected with each other. A shaft rod and a stopping portion and an arced edge are formed on the side piece. The elastic member is provided inside the rotatable shaft assembly and is pivoted together on the shaft rod. The controlling member uses its controlling ends to be pivoted on the shaft rod. When the toothed portion is pushed to rotate the rotatable shaft assembly, the engaging bar of the rotatable shaft assembly can slide along the arced edge of the side piece. At this time, the controlling end of the controlling member is not linked by the engaging bar, the controlling member can be fixed in place when the belt is penetrated.

The zipper fastener extends along a junction plane and has a first strip presenting a first edge, a second strip presenting a second edge, a slider, and a pull tab connected to the slider. The lock device is fixed to the enclosure and is adapted for cooperating with the pull tab in a locked position in order to maintain the slider in the fastening position, wherein, in the fastening position, the lock device and the pull tab are arranged in the junction plane.

Abstract: A Brunnian link is a link formed from a closed loop doubled over itself to capture another closed loop to form a chain. Elastic bands can be utilized to form such links in a desired manner. The example device provides a means of holding elastic bands in place to enable the creation of an item formed of Brunnian links.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing ornaments made of precious metals is provided. A sheet, plate or foil made of pure precious metal—i.e. having a fineness equal to or greater than 999 parts per thousand—is provided, a profile of a desired shape is traced, and the sheet or plate is cut according to the profile to obtain an ornament having the desired shape. The method obtains ornaments made of precious metal of any two-dimensional shape in a short time with limited manufacturing costs. The method can be used to produce a large number of variants of commercial collections of jewels and/or ornaments made of pure precious metals according to the commercial choices of the manufacturer, and to obtain “tailor-made” ornaments made of pure precious metal—i.e. starting from a specific design of the user—in a very short time, or even immediately.

Abstract: According to an exemplary embodiment, an electronic luggage device may be disclosed. The electronic luggage device may be fully TSA compliant. The device may be capable of communicating both wirelessly and by wired connection(s) to other devices. The electronic luggage device may also charge other devices by battery and in turn be charged by other electric power facilities. The electronic luggage device may have GPS capabilities, an intelligent “sleep-mode,” multiple various charging and communicatory ports, a recessed telescoping handle fixture, a hidden battery compartment, and a high capacity removable battery. The removable battery may be retained by any locking means understood by a person having ordinary skill in the art. The removable battery may be automatically or manually ejected. This may be accomplished by a spring-loaded force, a slot and rail system, or equivalents as would be understood by a person having ordinary skill in the art.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a green technology for crosslinking protein molecules for various uses, where the protein molecules can be contained in protein fibers such as, but not limited to, human hair, animal fibers, and mixtures thereof. In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a crosslinking agent comprising an oxidized sugar having at least two aldehyde groups. In another aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method of crosslinking protein fibers. This method involves providing the aforementioned crosslinking agent and infiltrating a plurality of non-crosslinked protein fibers with the crosslinking agent under conditions effective to cause protein molecules contained in the non-crosslinked protein fibers to become crosslinked, thereby yielding a population of crosslinked protein fibers.

Each of the storage pouches can store objects to inhibit the objects from getting wet during incoming high tide.
