Abstract: A shoe is provided with a first forming portion provided on a medial side and a second forming portion provided on a lateral side across a central opening formed forward from a foot insertion portion of an upper on each of which a string passing portion is formed; a first support member a tip end of which is fixed to the second forming portion, including a first string passing structure provided at the tip end, and extending downward so as to abut a medial side of a foot; a second support member a tip end of which is fixed to the first forming portion, including a second string passing structure provided at the tip end, and extending downward so as to abut a lateral side of the foot; and a shoelace which passes through the string passing portion and continuously passes through the first and second string passing structures.

Abstract: A lace tightening assembly for tightening a lace in an article of clothing includes a ring that has a lace being extendable therethrough. In this way the ring abuts against an article of clothing through which the lace is extended. A plurality of engagements is each coupled to the ring to engage the lace. Each of the engagements is positioned at an angle in the ring such that the lace can be urged in a first direction through the ring but is inhibited from is urged in a second direction through the ring. In this way the lace is retained at a chosen tightness.

Abstract: An apparatus for automatically adjusting tension on retention member to hold multiple objects together. Examples include using retention apparatus to obtain optimal fit and use of a human wearable item such as article of footwear. Sensors may be used to sense changes in movement of the article of footwear, of the person wearing it, or of a third object such as a vehicle carrying the person. A retention member may surround at least a portion of the objects, and an actuator may be included that automatically rotates a rotating member such as a gear or pulley that may be coupled to the retention member. The rotating member may be configured to automatically adjust tension on the retention member many times per second based on control signals from control logic responsive to the sensors.

The lattice framework defines a plurality of holes. The plate partly extends through the holes of the lattice framework to secure the plurality of cleats to the plate.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing waterproof and breathable shoes includes manufacturing of a shoe sole, manufacturing of a shoe upper, and bonding of the shoe upper and the sole. The specific steps are as follows: S1: manufacturing of a shoe sole: subjecting shoe sole materials to plastication and mixing using an open mill, cutting into pieces according to set requirements, and compression molding to obtain the shoe sole; S2 manufacturing of a shoe upper: stacking a knitted fabric as an outer layer (1), a polyurethane (PUR) layer, and a knitted fabric as an inner layer (3) sequentially into a molding die in a nested fashion, and hot-pressing and shaping; and S3: bonding of the shoe upper and sole: bonding the shoe upper and sole for the waterproof and breathable shoes with an adhesive glue according to a size.

The first buckle member comprises a first end and a second end adapted to engage a strap, a mounting surface, a latching aperture defined in the mounting surface, and a first magnet. A release direction extends along a longitudinal axis of the first buckle member from the first end to the second end. The second buckle member comprises a joining surface adapted to be joined with the mounting surface, a latch hook adapted to engage the latching aperture extending from the joining surface, and a second magnet. The magnets pull the latch hook into engagement with the latching aperture when the joining surface is placed in proximity to the mounting surface. Engagement of the latching aperture by the latch hook prevents the second buckle member from being pulled apart from the first buckle member in a direction orthogonal to the mounting surface or against the release direction.

The device features several ‘gray-out’ portions on the cover to protect information on the card and ensures bystanders, retail employees, and the like are unable to view specific information, preventing identity theft and other dangers involving personal information. The invention includes, but not limited to a soft, stretchy, elastic, material in a tubular shape, drawstring, a drawstring cord lock, and may be utilized with a hair tie which gathers the hair and holds it into a ponytail while the ponytail sleeve is attached. The ponytail can be formed in the back, top, sides, or middle of the users head to achieve the desired look.

The first end of the cord is securely attached at one end of the cleat, and the second end of the cord traverses through the second passageway. The free end of the cord is pulled under the application of force to crimp the cord and the cord loops around the cleat such that when the force is removed, the cord contracts, causing it to constrict, thereby securing the cord within the cleat and providing an easily adjustable sized cord loop to retain hair.
