Abstract: The invention relates to a rack for a cabinet, preferably a corner cabinet, comprising at least two shelves, which can be rotated about an axis and can be slid transversely to the axis. The shelves can be operated independently of each other, can be arranged one over the other, and can be slid on shelf supports. The shelves are mounted on the shelf supports in such a way that rotation by 360° is enabled. Each shelf not mounted on a bottom of the cabinet is mounted on at least one support, which can be fastened to a stable wall in a rear region of the cabinet and is arranged in such a way that the height of the support can be varied.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a U-shaped travel pillow having a base cushion and raised cushion fixed to the top side of the base cushion. The inner peripheral walls of the base and raised cushions are mutually flush, while the rear walls are mutually flush and substantially flat for better contact with flat surfaces, such as a headrest, seat, or chair. Furthermore, the rear wall of the raised cushion is thinner than the sides, providing more liberty to adjust head position by easily adapting to the shape of the headrest, seat or chair. A removable cover is adapted to cover the base and raised cushions, while a drawstring with an adjustable cinch mechanism can be used for adjusting the travel pillow around the neck.

The lumbar support has a seat hingedly coupled to a seat back having a teardrop-shaped lumbar support seat back cushion. A rigid back support portion may be rotated forward about hinges to collapse substantially parallel to the seat frame and backward to open to a variety of angles with respect to the seat frame. The seat back freely pivots around an upper lateral axis, and the rigid back support portion is linearly adjustable to space the seat back toward and away from the hinges to enable raising or lowering the upper lateral axis and thus the seat back with respect to the lower lateral axis. This provides multiple ways of changing which part of the teardrop-shaped lumbar support curve hits your lumbar curve for proper support. Variable lumbar lordotic support is thus provided.

In one embodiment, the power source apparatus comprises a plunger responsive to a magnetic field, a spring to interact with the plunger, a battery and a control piece. The plunger is moved between first and second positions according to a magnetic field applied externally. Accordingly, the control piece enables or disables the power depending on the plunger positions. In another embodiment, a capsule system uses an electrical interconnect with pressure contacts between the power source and the capsule sub-system connecting the second circuit board to the power-output nodes.

Abstract: This present invention proposes new methods of designing single-use endoscopes with built-in optical fibers and operating fixtures. As compared to conventional endoscopes, a separate lumen is reserved for integrating a laser fiber along the insertion tube of the proposed endoscope, and an optical fiber placement device (OFPD) is correspondingly added in the endoscope handle for controlling the movement of the laser fiber. By sliding the slider or dialing the wheel of OFPD, a surgeon can conveniently control movement of the laser fiber. By pressing a retractable control stick in the OFPD, the surgeon can either push the laser fiber out from the endoscope's distal-end or pull back the laser fiber, further unlocking or locking the power switch of the laser fiber to avoid mis-operations. All these above operations can be performed by the surgeon's one-hand, including the routine deflections and rotations of the endoscope. Four implementations of the OFPD are introduced in this invention.
