Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to establishing a simple and secure connection between two intelligent pieces of clothing. A first connecting part is provided on a first intelligent piece of clothing and a second connecting part is provided on a second intelligent piece of clothing. The first connecting part and the second connecting part are magnetically connected in order to align and interconnect a first signal connecting part in the first connecting part with a second signal connecting part in the second connecting part for establishing a signal connection between first electronics of the first intelligent piece of clothing and second electronics of the second intelligent piece of clothing.

Abstract: Various exemplary embodiments relate to a business suit. The business suit includes front facing panels and upper sleeve panels formed of a first facing fabric; and an inner lining formed of a second moisture wicking fabric. The suit may further include exterior back panels or lower sleeve panels formed of the second moisture wicking fabric. The suit may further include a sleeve liner interior to a respective upper sleeve panel and the lower sleeve panel, the sleeve liner formed of a third fabric. In various embodiments, the business suit further includes pants. The pants include exterior facing panels formed of the first facing fabric; a waistband formed of the first facing fabric; and a pants liner formed of the second moisture wicking fabric and joined to the waistband. The pants may further include an exterior crotch insert panel formed of the second moisture wicking fabric.

The article may be a garment that includes an item of clothing to be worn by a person and a support garment panel attached to the item of clothing. The support garment panel is attached to the perimeter of the armholes of the item of clothing and defines a pocket between the support garment panel and the item of clothing. The pocket includes an opening for receiving an infant and a base for supporting the infant.

Abstract: A cargo-carrying sweatshirt includes a front panel, a rear panel, a left panel connecting the front panel and the rear panel wherein the left panel has a left sleeve, and a right panel connecting the front panel and the rear panel wherein the right panel has a right sleeve. A head opening is provided at a top portion of the sweatshirt and defined by the front panel and the rear panel. A body opening is provided at a bottom portion of the sweatshirt and is defined by the front panel, the rear panel, the left panel, and the right panel. The sweatshirt includes a plurality of cargo carrying accessories on the front panel, the rear panel, and the sleeves.

The structure may additionally include a plastic film attached to the inner surface and movable between a relaxed state and an expanded state, whereby the plastic film substantially surrounds the opening of the article of clothing.

Abstract: An article may include a base structure with a strand and an adjustment member. The adjustment member may include a course with a plurality of loops, and the strand of the base structure may be inlaid within the course of the adjustment member adjacent to a first loop and a second loop of the plurality of loops. The adjustment member may be configured to slide along the base structure from a first state to a second state such that the first loop and the second loop define a first loop distance in the first state, and the first loop and the second loop define a second loop distance in the second state. The first loop distance may be greater than the second loop distance.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hair addition for adding volume, texture, and density to the side of a user's head and hairline. The hair addition, in one embodiment, includes two or more wires to which wefts of hair are attached. The hair addition further includes one or more double layer portions of hair and one or more single layer portions of hair. In another embodiment, the hair addition includes one or more wires to which wefts of hair are attached. At least some of the wefts of hair are slidable along the one or more wires. The hair addition further includes elastic cordage connecting to the one or more wires one each end of the one or more wires and an intermediate connector connecting the wires and the elastic cordage.

Abstract: A method for applying eyelash extensions includes: transporting an eyelash extension bundle to an eyelash extensions applying auxiliary, the eyelash extensions each having an attaching end, a root and a distal end, the eyelash extensions applying auxiliary having an attaching reference point, a first reference line and a second reference line, the first and second reference lines or imaginary extension lines thereof being joined at the attaching reference point; the attaching ends of the eyelash extensions being located right at the attaching reference point after the transportation; aligning two of the eyelash extensions in the eyelash extension bundle with the first and second reference lines, respectively, with a pair of tweezers; coating the attaching ends of the eyelash extensions with adhesive, and adhering the attaching ends coated with the adhesive to a root of a human eyelash. Thereby, eyelash extension bundles can all have uniform open angles with enhanced applying quality.

Abstract: Sensor assisted head mounted displays for welding are disclosed. Disclosed example head mounted devices include an optical sensor, an augmented reality controller, a graphics processing unit, and a semi-transparent display. The optical sensor collects an image of a weld environment. The augmented reality controller determines a simulated object to be presented in a field of view, a position in the field of view, and a perspective of the simulated object in the field of view. The graphics processing unit renders the simulated object based on the perspective to represent the simulated object being present in the field of view and in the weld environment. The display presents the rendered simulated object within the field of view based on the position. At least a portion of the weld environment is observable through the display and the lens when the display is presenting the rendered simulated object.

Abstract: A wearable system, such as a footwear system, can employ a generator. The generator can be an electro-mechanical generator with a portion that spins to create an electricity. The portion that spins can be spun in such a manner that it does not stop, but instead a next spin beings before a previous spin completes. This can repeat until the generator reaches a terminal velocity.

Abstract: A method to permanently mark an item of plated jewelry involves creating a laminate of two metals, and upper layer typically formed of a more precious metal such as gold, platinum and palladium that do not readily oxidize laminated onto the surface of a less precious metal, such as silver, which is oxidized to create a dark color (e.g. black). A laser is used to create characters and/or designs in the upper layer by vaporizing portions to effectively remove those portions. This exposes the upper surface of the less precious metal that does become oxidized. An oxidizer, such as liquid sulfur, is used to blacken the silver, typically a dark gray. This allows an easy and inexpensive method of archiving information on jewelry bearing or supporting a gem that describes the supported gem rendering the gem more valuable collectible and traceable.

The invention I made alters the structure of the teeth in combs/brushes to create friction by adding edges (of various shapes and sizes) to the teeth to rob against the hair as the hair is being combed/brushed thus causing friction and creating heat. The heat created and the force of the friction of the Designer Comb straightens the hair for all hair types but for 3 b hair and kinkier it also flattens the hair so people with afros can simply comb up the sides of their hair to get a high-top hair style.

Abstract: A method of monitoring brushing of a tooth and gum surface includes sensing a brushing relative to the tooth surface during a brushing session and generating feedback in response to the brushing. In one embodiment, feedback is generated when a user, such as a child, starts brushing. In another embodiment, feedback is generated when the brushing technique deviates from a correct brushing technique, such as the Bass Technique. When a user uses a correct brushing technique, the bristles on the brush head of a tooth brush vibrate. When the user uses an incorrect brushing technique, the vibrations stop, alerting the user that her technique is incorrect. The user can be alerted about improper brushing techniques in other ways, such as by generating audible sounds such as chirps, interrupting audio signals such as music, generating flashing lights, or the like. Preferably, a user's brushing technique can be tracked for later evaluation.
