Abstract: A buckle assembly formed of a male buckle portion and a female buckle portion. The female buckle portion has a top wall, a bottom wall, side walls, and a cavity between the top wall and the bottom wall and a locking slot in each of the side walls. The male buckle portion has a base, two locking legs and two intermediate legs between the locking legs. The locking legs extend through the locking slots in the female portion, and locking pawls at the end of the locking legs engage the edges of the locking slots to secure the buckle portions together. The free ends of the locking legs are connected to the free ends of the intermediate legs by a retaining member, so that forces acting on the locking legs are transferred to the intermediate legs by the retaining members.

A first zipper pull tab comprises a first base, a hook extending from the first base, and a moveable gate coupled to the first base. For interlocking, the moveable gate and hook are further coupled around the post to provide the interlocking configuration of the first and second zipper pull tabs. The first zipper pull tab may be utilized separately from the second zipper pull tab, such as to lock to a coupling ring or another component of a carrying bag.

For example, some of these earrings are selectively reversible between different aesthetic appearances for wearing to different occasions. This selective reversibility is enabled through various modalities of operation (e.g., clock-like action, spinning action). These modalities of operation are technologically beneficial because these modalities of operation enable such earrings to be selectively reversed from various ear portions.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for managing optical characteristics of gemstones with diffractive structures are provided. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a three-dimensional model of a gemstone including representations of surfaces of the gemstone, identifying a region on a surface of the gemstone having an optical value higher than one or more other regions on the surface of the gemstone by analyzing the three-dimensional model of the gemstone, and determining a diffractive structure to be arranged on the identified region of the surface of the gemstone, such that the gemstone with the diffractive structure has a higher optical performance than the gemstone without the diffractive structure. The method can also include fabricating the determined diffractive structure on the identified region of the surface of the gemstone.

Abstract: A flexible method to provide a variety of value-added coatings to a piece of jewelry or a group of jewelries is disclosed. Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Molecular Layer Deposition (MLD) technique is implemented to deposit a layer of conformal coating on intended jewelry surfaces, including both exterior and interior surfaces, to enhance a vast majority of process-driven or end of use driven properties. The coating compositions include dielectrics material, metals, organic materials or organic-inorganic hybrid materials. The method steps of forming a layer of coating are straightforward and can be tailed to different purposes.

Abstract: A pole handle having a fastening mechanism for a hand strap with loop strips at variable lengths with a clamping element mounted in a recess. The recess is a through-opening of which the lower opening opens within a rear handle region, and the upper opening towards the upper side of the handle. In use, the elastic assembly controls the swing amplitude of the backrest according to the pressure exerted by the user's back on the backrest. When the user reclines backward, the elastic assembly acts as a cushion to support the backrest to slowly swing backward due to the elastic force. When the user rises, the elastic force of the elastic assembly urges the backrest to reset.
