The double-sided hook surface fastener is an extrusion molding surface fastener, the double-sided hook surface fastener is folded back in a length direction in a shape of an alligator's mouth, and the double-sided hook surface fastener is fixed to a first mounting object at a folded-back portion by a rivet. One end portion of the double-sided loop surface fastener is tucked by the alligator's mouth, the double-sided loop surface fastener is folded back by an annular part fixed to a second mounting object, and the other end portion of the double-sided loop surface fastener engages with an outer side surface of the alligator's mouth.

Abstract: The invention involves a modular jewelry system and method for constructing a modular jewelry system. The system includes a base having a bore, the side wall of the bore including a groove having a slight helix. The helix includes a small protrusion beyond which the helix flattens and the slot ends. A charm, stone or the like, has an outwardly extending stem; the stem including at least one outwardly extending tab. The tab is sized to cooperate with the groove, so that the stem is pulled into the bore as the stem is rotated until passing the protrusion, whereby the stem is locked into position in the bore.

Abstract: An auxiliary handle for a walking assistance device has a tube seat and a handgrip tube. The tube seat utilizes the positioning space for accepting a crutch tube. When a user holds the handle portion of the handgrip tube and turns it downward; when the handgrip tube is turned, the positioning protrusion of the connecting portion moves from the stopping portion to the positioning portion and compresses the elastic member. When the handgrip tube is horizontal, the positioning protrusion passes over the stopping edge and inserts into the positioning portion for positioning to lock the handgrip tube and prevent the elastic member from rebounding. Meanwhile, the user holds a top grip on the top of the walking assistance device with one hand, and holds the handgrip tube with the other hand, and then applies force to support the body to get up and stand.

Abstract: Systems and methods are involved with a tablet case assembly including a lid portion, a restraint projection extending from the lid portion, a container portion hingedly coupled with the lid portion, and a holder projection extending from the container portion. When the lid portion is in an open position, the holder projection is uncoupled from the restraint projection. When the lid portion is in a closed position, the holder projection is coupled with the restraint projection to secure the lid portion in the closed position and to form an elongated open-ended enclosure bounded by a front side of the container portion, the restraint projection, and the holder projection. The cover includes a cover fabric that extends to a perimeter, an aperture formed in the cover fabric, and a cord extending from the perimeter and coupled to the hair accessory. The cover covers an opening of a cup by the perimeter stretching over and conforming to a diameter of the opening to prevent new material from being added to a liquid in the cup.

A narrower end is useful for application of treatment at smaller areas of the scalp. One or more notches in the curved body aid in grasping and manipulating the hair painting board.

The first sealable closing is dimensioned to allow at least a portion of the towel to extend therethrough when the towel is fully opened. A second panel is affixed to, and spaced from, the first panel to form a compartment therebetween. A second sealable opening is formed on the compartment.

Abstract: A backcombing brush for backcombing hair includes an array of bristles 4. Each bristle extends from a base to a free end and two lengths of bristle are provided. Shorter bristles 4a and the bottom of longer bristles 4b carry out backcombing, whilst the longer bristles smooth hair, or untangle knots/tangles in the hair to reduce the level of backcombing. The long bristles have a relatively wide first portion 5, towards the base of the bristle, and a relatively narrow second portion 6, towards the free end of the bristle. The bristles are arranged such that bristles in one row neither extend between adjacent bristles in an adjacent row nor partially occlude the space between bristles in an adjacent row.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for providing feedback to an individual based on brushing performance, and providing guidance for the individual's brushing, are provided herein. In one exemplary embodiment, after an oral hygiene device is orientated, a determination is made as to a segment within the individual's mouth that a brush head of the oral hygiene device is located. Upon this determination being made, a sub-segment within the individual's mouth where the brush head is located is also determined. A brushing performance within the sub-segment is calculated and displayed to the user. A level of compliance for the particular segment is determined based on the brushing performance of the various sub-segments within the particular segment. If the level of compliance exceeds a pre-set compliance level for that segment, the individual is guided to a different segment within their mouth for brushing.

Abstract: A parcel storage box (10) comprises a base (12), a side wall (14) and a roof (16) joined to form a box (18) and a parapet (28) provided on an upper surface of the roof (16), the parapet (28) enclosing a volume for planting plants. An opening (20) is provided in the side wall (14) and a door (22) is hinged to the side wall (14) to close the opening (20). A lock (24) is provided for locking the door (22). A barrier (42) is provided on the base (12), the barrier (42) having a front surface (44) for contacting a rear surface of the door (22) and an upper surface (46), the upper surface (46) being sloped relative to the base (12), the upper surface (46) being closer to the base (12) at a front edge of the barrier (42).

Abstract: A food peeler for peeling an outer layer of a foodstuff, is described. The food peeler can include several members having respective surfaces that appose each other. At least one of the apposing surfaces can have a texture. Relative movement between the members while a foodstuff is in direct contact with the apposing surfaces causes an outer layer of the foodstuff to be peeled and removed from a core of the foodstuff. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
