A ring is coupled to a respective one of the gloves and a scroll is rotatably integrated into a respective one of the gloves. The scroll is pullable outwardly from the respective glove such that the scroll is visible. A pair of noise makers is each movably coupled to a respective one of the gloves to emit an audible sound when the respective glove is shaken. A feather is coupled to a respective one of the gloves to enhance the ornamental appearance of the respective glove.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a self-disinfecting glove, the method comprising dissolving an elastomer in a solvent to form a solution, wherein the elastomer is selected from the group consisting of synthetic rubber, natural rubber, and nitrile. Adding of a photosensitizer to the elastomer solvent solution and evaporating the solvent solution to form a film, wherein the photosensitizer is selected from the group consisting of methylene blue, hypericin and titanium dioxide. Next hot pressing of the film above elastomer's melting point to form a sheet. Finally cutting, stacking and hot pressing the sheet again to enable even spread of the photosensitizer throughout the sheet.

Abstract: An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.

Abstract: A pet waste bag for disposing of waste while protecting a user's hand has a collapsible, invertible, and substantially impermeable glove assembly with a thumb side and a little-finger side. A thumb-side handle portion and a little-finger-side handle portion is coupled to the cuff portion and is designed to be knotted to seal an interior portion of the glove assembly. An exterior portion of the glove assembly is designed to become the interior portion of the glove assembly when the glove assembly is inverted. The glove assembly is inverted by rolling the glove assembly off the hand distally from the cuff portion to the fingers portion. The waste product grasped by the user's hand when protected by the glove assembly is retained in the interior portion of the inverted glove assembly.

Any seams on the protective fabric are covered with a seam tape. The adhesive layer can be a crosslinkable polyester polymer.

Abstract: A collapsible frame for supporting a fabric structure includes frame members which themselves can be plastically deformed as well as folded around one or more hinges. The ductile frame members can be deformed plastically to hold the fabric structure in a predetermined orientation. When not in use, the frame can be folded around the hinges disposed between the individual frame members. Folding the frame around the hinges significantly reduces the possibility of the ductile frame members work-hardening and experiencing a metal fatigue failure.

Abstract: A hat insert for maintaining a structure of a hat and a characteristic of a head of a wearer, and related methods of manufacture and use. The hat insert is constructed by attaching a shaper configured for supporting the hat to a liner configured for contacting the wearer's hair or scalp. An improved hat is constructed by inserting the hat insert into the hat. When the improved hat is worn by the wearer, the hat insert supports the hat and protects it from damage and also engages the wearer's hair or scalp and protects hair strands, hair follicles, and skin pores from becoming damaged or soiled as a result of wearing the hat.

Abstract: Disclosed is a protective helmet, surgical garment, and positive pressure air filter apparatus. The helmet is adapted to fit on the head of a medical practitioner and includes a filtered air inlet located near the crown of the practitioner's head, one or more air flow ducts, and one or more outlets located near the practitioner's face. The garment fits over the helmet and provides an air-impermeable barrier to prevent airborne contaminants from entering the space around the practitioner's head. A motorized filter unit is adapted to be worn near the waist of the practitioner. A tube connects the output of the filter unit with the air inlet of the helmet to provide a filtered air supply to the practitioner. One or more filter elements are provided at the input of the filter unit. The filter elements remove contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, vapors, and gasses from ambient air drawn into the filter unit to generate filtered air that is delivered to the practitioner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to jewelry and specifically jewelry with retroreflective inlays. Specifically, the invention relates to a chain link or other jewelry item, with an inlay trough formed in the chain. The inlay trough can be created in a number of ways including casting, CNC milling, photolithography and chemical milling. Once an inlay trough is created, a retroreflective material is embedded in the trough. The retroreflective material which has a bonded top layer of acrylic or polyester is then sealed into the trough with a resin layer that creates a highly reflective, water-resistant, and protective surface. The disclosed invention covers the chain or other jewelry of similar style and the method for producing the jewelry.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable shelter assembly. The assembly includes a support; and an expandable shelter for being supported by the support and expanding to shelter at least one person. The shelter includes ribs extending from the support. Each rib includes one or more proximal elements pivotally mounted to the support. Each rib further includes a distal element extending from the proximal elements and configured to move outwardly to expand the shelter when the proximal elements pivot in a first direction. Advantageously, the distal elements may be simply pulled down one at a time to lift the connected proximal elements and extend the ribs, which is advantageous in windy conditions, or pulled down together to lift the proximal elements and extend the ribs.

Abstract: A flying umbrella assembly includes a flying drone that can fly through the air. An umbrella is removably attachable to the flying drone such that the umbrella can be flown above the ground. A tracking unit is carried by a user and the tracking unit broadcasts a tracking signal to the flying drone thereby facilitating the flying drone to fly within a pre-determined distance of the tracking unit. In this way the flying drone positions the umbrella over the user regardless if the user is stationary or in motion. A personal electronic device is in wireless communication with the flying drone. The flying drone receives the sun tracking data from the personal electronic device to optimally position the umbrella for shading the user.

The hair tool case protects hair tools, and their power cords, from damage during storage and stowing. The hair tool case can further have a series of cable clips, to clip the power cords in place, and a plurality of hooks to hold the power tools. A flap can be provided to cover the power cords, and the case is configured to have the flaps envelop the cables, and have the sleeves fold onto the flaps to provide protection to all of the styling tools.

Abstract: A purse with an integrated and removable phone case includes an attached, but removable, phone case suspended from a purse strap by a chain, cord, or similar mechanism. Cell phone users require immediate, unencumbered access to their phones. Currently available products require the phone user to remove his or her phone from a bag. Phone cases cannot hold many items without becoming too bulky. Small purses have limited storage space and personal devices can take up much of that space. Moreover, carrying a phone case with a strap in addition to a purse with a strap can cause tangling and limit ease of use. An externally available phone case suspended from a strap of a purse allows for immediate access to the cell phone without consuming space within the purse. The suspended phone case may be removed from the purse to allow for separate use of the phone or purse.
