Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a garment for measuring biological information for animals, in which the electrode portion is less likely to be displaced from the body even upon a movement of an animal and the biological information can be measured accurately, and to provide a method for measuring biological information. A garment for measuring biological information comprising a front body and a back body having a large tensile elongation EMT. Since the garment for measuring biological information has a band around a torso, it is possible to prevent the electrodes from being displaced from the body due to a movement. Further, since the connection portion between the front body and the back body of the garment for measuring biological information is made of a woven or knitted fabric that expands and contracts in the direction from the head to the tail, the electrodes are less likely to be displaced from the body even upon a great movement.

Abstract: A strike trap is disclosed with improved reliability and ease of setting. In a preferred configuration the improved trap is in the form of a tunnel or tube trap. In a preferred embodiment the strike bar moves upward from a low position to strike against an interior wall or equivalent structure of the tube. The strike bar is set by pressing it downward to become automatically latched near a floor or bottom of the tube. With the downward set action a single hand or foot can provide the set motion wherein the ground or other support surface exclusively provides a reaction force. A two stage retention system provides reliable low force, low travel trip action. The strike bar therefore can pivot adjacent to a wall with the bar extending away there from. This compact arrangement ensures the tube entrances in the tube embodiment are adjacent to the wall.

Abstract: The present invention is aimed at providing a weed control method and a mixed agrochemical composition for soil treatment, which, in a soil treatment of farmland with pyroxasulfone, not only can inhibit or reduce crop injury caused by absorption into cultivated crops, without being influenced by heavy rainfall, soil type, seeding depth and the like, but also are effective against a wide range of weed species. The weed control method includes a soil treatment step of performing a soil treatment on farmland with an agrochemical composition for soil treatment, which contains pyroxasulfone, and with a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor, simultaneously or sequentially, the method being characterized in that the agrochemical composition for soil treatment further contains a masking substance that masks the pyroxasulfone, and the pyroxasulfone is microencapsulated in or coated with the masking substance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a combination of encapsulated, in particular micro-encapsulated phenothrin and emulsified prallethrin in water, preferably in a ratio of 10:1. This combination has excellent suitability for use as an insecticide. The suitable concentration is about 0.1% by mass of phenothrin and 0.01% by mass of prallethrin. The insecticide is used at a concentration of 20 ml/m2 to 60 ml/m2 on non-porous surfaces or in a concentration of 40 ml/m2 to 120 ml/m2 on porous surfaces. Despite the low amounts of active ingredients, the insecticide shows a rapid knockdown effect and a prolonged depot effect.

Abstract: A method of treating a leguminous plant crop comprises a step of applying a 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid solution to the leguminous plant once a seed stage is observed. The solution of 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid may comprise nitrogen and zinc. The 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid solution may also comprise a spreader-sticker. Application of the 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid solution shortens plant maturation and significantly reduces the timing to reach a harvesting stage.
