  • Patent number: 11531801
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program for enabling more accurate prediction of a crack to be made. A model acquisition unit acquires a structure model MD from a model generation unit, an external device (not illustrated), or the like. Amplitude load energy A in an element E0 having no cracks is set on the basis of a relationship between an equivalent stress ? and an equivalent elastic strain ? experimentally obtained according to a material constituting the element E0. Since the equivalent elastic strain ? depends on a crack variable ?, the amplitude load energy A is expressed as a function of the crack variable ?. A crack prediction unit predicts a crack to be generated in a structure D by calculating a differential equation having a term proportional to the amplitude energy. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a crack prediction device that predicts a crack.

  • Patent number: 11531803
Abstract: A static timing analysis system for finding and reporting timing violations in a digital circuit design prior to circuit fabrication, and associated methods, use exhaustive path-based analysis (EPBA) that is informed by infinite-depth path-based analysis (IPBA) to provide analysis results that are driven full-depth, in contrast to conventional EPBA systems and methods, which can terminate after reaching a maximum depth of analysis as a way of avoiding prolonged or infinite runtimes. The IPBA-driven full-depth EPBA functions for hold-mode as well as setup-mode analysis and achieves reduced pessimism as compared to systems or methods employing IPBA alone, and more complete analysis of designs as compared to systems or methods employing EPBA alone. Improved IPBA signal merging using multidimensional zones for thresholding of signal clustering mitigates the occasional optimism of IPBA.

  • Patent number: 11531824
Abstract: A machine accesses a query in a first natural language. The machine identifies an event corresponding to the query. The machine computes, using a cross-lingual information retrieval module, a ranked list of documents in a second natural language that are related to the event. At least a portion of documents in the ranked list are selected from a collection of documents in the second natural language that are not annotated with events. The cross-lingual information retrieval module is trained using a dataset comprising annotated documents in the first natural language and translations of the annotated documents into the second natural language. Each annotated document is annotated with one or more events. The machine provides an output representing at least a portion of the ranked list of documents in the second natural language. The second natural language is different from the first natural language.

  • Patent number: 11531826
Abstract: Systems and methods for user choice of barcode scanning ranges are provided. This is achieved through the identification of a predetermined pixel-per-module threshold range. The pixel-per-module of a barcode being read by a reader is compared to the predetermined pixel-per-module threshold range, and a successful decode of the barcode is carried out only if the pixel-per-module of the barcode falls within the predetermined range. Thus, a user may select a desired reading distance range such that barcodes within a working distance range may not generate successful decodes if such barcodes are outside of the desired reading distance range.

Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure provide a service processing method, device, and system associated with unified resource locator (URL)-based two-dimensional (code). In an implementation, a URL is received from a first service institution. The URL is obtained by a mobile device from scanning a 2D code provided by a service provider and sent to the first service institution. The URL is then parsed to identify one or more data elements including a service network identifier, a service institution identifier, and a payload including a service object identifier. The one or more data elements is sent to the second service institution based on the service institution identifier. Service information associated with the service object is received from the second service institution based on the service object identifier, and the service information is sent to the first service institution for presenting on the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11531829
Abstract: An automatic image annotation system receives a reference image with one or more parts annotated along with one or more query images and automatically identifies portions from the query images that are similar to the annotated parts of the reference image. The S-matrices of the reference image and the query images are obtained via singular value decomposition (SVD). Lower-dimensional images are also obtained for the reference image and the query images using a pre-trained deep learning model. The S-matrices and the lower-dimensional images of the corresponding images are combined to generate vector representations. A distance metric is calculated for the vector representation of the reference image with that of the query image. A preliminary output image with a preliminary annotation is initially generated. The preliminary annotation is further optimized to generate an optimized annotation that adequately covers the region of interest (ROI).

  • Patent number: 11531830
Abstract: In many real-life applications, ample amount of examples from one class are present while examples from other classes are rare for training and learning purposes leading to class imbalance problem and misclassification. Methods and systems of the present disclosure facilitate generation of an extended synthetic rare class super dataset that is further pruned to obtain a synthetic rare class dataset by maximizing similarity and diversity in the synthetic rare class dataset while preserving morphological identity with labeled rare class training dataset. Oversampling methods used in the art result in cloning of datasets and do not provide the needed diversity. The methods of the present disclosure can be applied to classification of noisy phonocardiogram (PCG) signals among other applications.

  • Patent number: 11531834
Abstract: A computer-executable method for moderating publication of data content with a moderator tool. The data contents are labelled as acceptable or unacceptable. The moderator tool receives the training data and executes a first algorithm that identifies features that exist in the training data and extracts them and ending up with a feature space. The moderator tool executes a second algorithm in the feature space for defining a distribution of data features that differentiate between the acceptable contents and the unacceptable contents in order to create a moderation model. When the moderator tool receives a new data content to be moderated, it executes the moderator tool on the new data content for identifying the data features in the new data content to be moderated in accordance with the moderation model created, and for producing a moderation result for the new data content by indicating whether the new data content is acceptable.

  • Patent number: 11531838
Abstract: Systems and methods for automating image annotations are provided, such that a large-scale annotated image collection may be efficiently generated for use in machine learning applications. In some aspects, a mobile device may capture image frames, identifying items appearing in the image frames and detect objects in three-dimensional space across those image frames. Cropped images may be created as associated with each item, which may then be correlated to the detected objects. A unique identifier may then be captured that is associated with the detected object, and labels are automatically applied to the cropped images based on data associated with that unique identifier. In some contexts, images of products carried by a retailer may be captured, and item data may be associated with such images based on that retailer's item taxonomy, for later classification of other/future products.
