A first overlap region and second overlap region of the first and second predetermined time interval are defined by a same time interval. The method includes receiving first transaction data associated with a first payment transaction, receiving second transaction data associated with a second payment transaction, and determining based on a first transaction ID and a second transaction ID, that the second payment transaction is a duplicate of the first payment transaction. A computer program product and system for preventing duplicate processing of a payment transaction are also disclosed.

Abstract: Method, device, and system of detecting a mule bank account, or a bank account used for terror funding or money laundering. A method includes: monitoring interactions of a user with a computing device during online access with a bank account; and based on the monitoring, determining that the bank account is utilized as a mule bank account to illegally receive and transfer money, or is used for money laundering or terror funding. The method takes into account one or more indicators, such as, utilization of a remote access channel, utilization of a virtual machine or a proxy server, unique behavior across multiple different accounts, temporal correlation among operations, detection of a set of operations that follow a pre-defined mule account playbook, detection of multiple incoming fund transfers from multiple countries that are followed by a single outgoing fund transfer to a different country, and other indicators.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for selecting an optimal financial account for a financial transaction. In an embodiment, a multi-account payment card is used to initiate a financial transaction. Transaction information of the financial transaction including a multi-account payment card ID is transmitted to a server for processing. The server determines that the multi-account payment card ID is associated with a plurality of financial accounts, wherein each of the plurality of financial accounts is associated with any one of a credit card, a debit card, an automatic teller machine (ATM) card, a gift card, or a credit line. A financial account of the plurality of financial accounts is selected by the server based on financial account information, such as reward information, associated with the plurality of financial accounts and the transaction information of the financial transaction. The financial transaction is then charged to the selected financial account.

The system includes an authenticity device on the product which determines a code using a two step authenticity algorithm which inputs time as a variable and outputs the code. The code may be displayed on the authenticity device. The smart device contacts the manufacturer via an application and a wide area network and provides identification information regarding the product. Based on the identification information, the manufacturer finds the copy of the authenticity algorithm stored at the manufacturer, runs the algorithm, and returns the code to the smart device.

In some implementations, a computing device may retrieve a data set including a number of attributes for each of a multitude of accounts, and may construct a plurality of different graphs each based on a unique set of the attributes. Each graph may include a plurality of nodes linked together by a multitude of edges, where each node identifies a corresponding account and each edge indicates one or more of the corresponding attributes that are common to a pair of accounts.
