Publication number: 20230104170Abstract: In this vein, we present CTLAP, a fluorogenic probe that is rapidly activated by CTL and displays good selectivity over CTB and CTV, the closest competing analytes for CTL activity probes. CTLAP exhibits intrinsically low background fluorescence, which we attribute to the notably low quantum yield measured for the probe. CTLAP demonstrates markedly higher turn-on ratios (24-fold) and moderately improved enzyme selectivity (6- to 10-fold) when compared to Z-FR-AMC (10-fold turn-on ratio, 6- to 7-fold selectivity), a commercially available CTL-selective probe commonly used to detect CTL activity in mixed samples. Optimum selectivity for CTL is achieved within 10 min of incubation with the enzyme, suggesting that CTLAP is amenable for rapid detection of CTL, even in the presence of competing cathepsins.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 6, 2021Publication date: April 6, 2023Applicant: University of Florida Research Foundation, IncorporatedInventors: Lina CUI, Kelton SCHLEYER

Publication number: 20230104187Abstract: Systems and methods for calculating the virality of a content item are disclosed herein. First data is collected relating to a first content item and second data is collected relating to a second content item. The first and second data are used to plot a continuous probability distribution and using the continuous probability distribution, a virality score is calculated for a third content item. In response to the virality score being greater than a first threshold, the third content item is classified as likely to be viral and the third content item is queued for auto-publishing.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2021Publication date: April 6, 2023Inventors: Jeffry Copps Robert Jose, Ankur Anil Aher, Reda Harb

METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR CALIBRATING VEHICLE MOTION DATA BASED ON MOBILE DEVICE SENSOR DATA
Publication number: 20230104188Abstract: An approach is provided for calibrating vehicle motion data using a rotation matrix calculated based on mobile device sensor data, thereby determining vehicle events (e.g., forward acceleration, stoppages, etc.). The approach, for example, involves determining a road segment that meets one or more criteria for straightness, inclination, or a combination thereof. The approach also involves collecting sensor data from at least one sensor of a mobile device associated with a vehicle in motion on the road segment based on the determination. The sensor data indicates one or more acceleration vectors in a mobile device frame of reference. The approach further involves calibrating the one or more acceleration vectors from the mobile device frame of reference to a vehicle frame of reference based on the sensor data. The approach further involves providing the one or more calibrated acceleration vectors as an output.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2021Publication date: April 6, 2023Inventors: Silviu ZILBERMAN, Harel PRIMACK -
Publication number: 20230104189Abstract: A dual-frequency low-noise amplifier circuit includes an input impedance matching circuit, a radio-frequency signal amplifying circuit and an output impedance matching circuit. An input end of the input impedance matching circuit inputs a radio-frequency signal, and an output end is connected to an input end of the output impedance matching circuit by means of the radio-frequency signal amplifying circuit; an output end of the output impedance matching circuit outputs an amplified radio-frequency signal; a first band radio-frequency signal is amplified, input and output switches are in a first open and closed state, and input and output impedances are first input and output impedances; and a second band radio-frequency signal is amplified, the input and output switches are in a second open and closed state, and the input and output impedances are second input and output impedances. Adjusting the dual-frequency low-noise amplifier circuit can reduce signal reflection and improve signal quality.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 9, 2022Publication date: April 6, 2023Applicant: SMARTER MICROELECTRONICS (GUANG ZHOU) CO., LTD.Inventors: Minjun HE, Yaohua ZHENG, Ping LI

Publication number: 20230104193Abstract: Systems and techniques for distributed machine learning (DML) in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. Finite message exchanges, such as those used in many DML exercises, may be efficiently implemented by treating certain data packets as interest packets to reduce overall network overhead when performing the finite message exchange. Further, network efficiency in DML may be improved achieved by using local coordinating nodes to manage devices participating in a distributed machine learning exercise. Additionally, modifying a round of DML training to accommodate available participant devices, such as by using a group quality of service metric to select the devices, or extending the round execution parameters to include additional devices, may have an impact on DML performance.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2022Publication date: April 6, 2023Inventors: Satish Chandra Jha, SM Iftekharul Alam, Ned M. Publication number: 20230104194Abstract: A retention system for retaining a milling drum to a driveshaft of a milling assembly. The driveshaft is powered to drive the milling drum about an axis. The retention system includes a retention member coupled to the driveshaft between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the retention member restricts a disengagement between an engagement surface of the driveshaft and a mating surface of the milling drum, inhibiting a release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis. In the second position, the retention member provides clearance for the disengagement of the engagement surface and the mating surface, facilitating the release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2021Publication date: April 6, 2023Applicant: Caterpillar Paving Products Inc.Inventors: Craig Thomas Hedstrom, Nicholas Bernard Johnson, Ryan Steve Hutar
